The suite was a great size for a family. Balcony is great! A touch pricey for being so out dated, but overall I would recommend staying here. Staff was nice. A bit dark at the suite door entrance. Breakfast was nothing fancy but good enough to get you started.

There were not many choices in town when we arrived and so we took what we could get. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a queen bed where a double was described on the booking site. The management was very accommodating and had helpful advice on places to eat and things

Clean, decent sized room for a reasonable price.Only bad thing was no internet. Their router would connect but they had no internet connection. Told us it was being worked on. Just outside of Nelson over the bridge, so it wasn't too far to get back down town. Reasonably quiet.

Hi, I didn't know Trip Advisor had this feature. Sorry for the extreme delay in providing an answer to your question. For the moment, our Online Travel Agents (Expedia, Hotels, Booking, etc) show us as a "no meal included". However, we offer a complimentary continental that is from 8am-10am in our small lobby that serves waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice. In 2018, we will launch our first restaurant on-site that will feature a hot breakfast.

Great question. One that not all businesses explain why they do or don't accept cats. We accepted cats until an incident 4 years ago. One of our guests brought in a cat and assured us she had a litter box and litter. Her room was set to do not disturb for 10 nights. Due to other reasons we had to enter the room. Let's just say we got the shock of our life. Unfortunately there was a hefty price to be paid to rectify this issue and loss of sales. Not sure if it was due to the length of stay but we had to gut the room and bleach it. Even then the stench wouldn't go away. We bleached the bones of the room 4 times a day for two weeks. Then rebuild the room from the bones. Cats are very clean animals and it is often the owner at fault. Dogs need to be walked publicly multiple times daily. Cats remain in the room. This added layer of obscurity is the reason. Dogs do make little accidents but these have always been easy to fix. As an accommodation we need to be able to fix any types of problem within a day as we need to resell a room. I hope that answers your question. Bottom line is that accepting cats is too much of a risk considering how badly we were affected. The memory of that incident is almost traumatizing.
