My family and I came to this hotel for a very brief period. The cleanliness seemed okay and it was nice to see that the bed was a king size one. The sheets and linens appeared to be clean; the water quality seemed okay but the wifi connection and the AC unit were the let downs. The AC was just too noisy and the wifi was a complete waste of time. The worst I've experienced in years. Parking seemed okay but we never got a spot at the front. Only at the back and side. The reception seemed friendly and we were allowed 2 complimentary bottles of water upon arrival. We had an issue with the access cards on one particular evening which required a replacement. The shower had a slight leak and the toilet seat was pretty hard and uncomfortable. All in all, I would say this was an average to good experience but for the price paid, it could have been a lot better. Would we return? I can't say for sure.

I always come back here every 2-3 months when i visit Scarborough to take care of family. After stressful days the pool and whirlpool do the trick. I always feel safe and sleep well.
There can always be improvement ; my bathroom needed a bit of a Reno in the shower , tv wasn’t working but was fixed within 20 minutes. Im always satisfied with what I’ve paid when I come here.

I have stayed a few times, the customer service staff are always pleasant and friendly.
This last trip I somehow got a room without a tub. The lovely young lady at the front desk upgraded me to a room with a tub. It was really nice.
No complaints about the hotel or staff. All top notch.
One thing that annoyed me was the area of Markham has an extra tax levied on stays. Just a pet peeve. But hotel was great..try the workout room and pool

This hotel was a great place to stay! Very clean, and the staff was great! So friendly! 100% would recommend. The large fridge and microwave in the rooms makes longer stays
a lot easier! There has been lots of very nice upgrades done to this hotel that include a lot of things that most hotels missed.

If you can avoid this hotel I would a few notes from my stay;

The entire hotel has a very harsh off putting smell of cleaners and smoke as well as a general rundown feel.

The bathtub had black mould in the corners as well as a broken drain plug.

There were hairs and toothpaste/shaving cream splash from the last guest left in the bathroom

Every piece of furniture in the room contained various levels of damage from knicks and gouges to water damage. Aswell as a broken arm on the chair

The bedside tables were not cleaned and had spills still left on them

The screen for the window was damaged and wedged back into the slot.

There was damage to the remote for the TV

Neither outlet on the bedside lamps were functional

Electrical outlets were damaged as well as light switches

Both of the drawers were left open upon entering the room as well as the fridge almost falling off of its shelf.

Very likely bedbugs or some sort of bug was in the room from the marks on the bed/chair.
There is also a lot of noise from the halls and rooms next to mine of people speaking at a normal volume making getting rest very difficult with an early start.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Paid for the room for two nights and they also charged an extra $100 'security deposit'. Hopefully that'll be released to my credit card. We booked a queen room and it was more like a double size. Room was dirty. Shower had soap scum on the walls and the glass corner shelf. I wasn't going to complain but the more I thought of it, I couldn't let them get away with the sub-standard conditions. So I was 'upgraded' to a king room. The king mattress was old and very 'sinky'. The sheet was dirty so the housekeeper brought a new sheet. The shower walls had soap scum, the HVAC didn't work - turns out the plug malfunctioned, the ironing board cover was dirty, the couch was dirty, the walls were dirty, wall paper next to sink had soap/toothpaste scum on it. I don't know if it's the housekeepers who don't know how to clean or they don't have the right supplies or are not given enough time per room (they only clean the room every 3rd night of your stay), but seriously both rooms were disgusting! There was an old bottle cap on the shelf in the bathroom. Breakfast is not included. There is a restaurant on site but you have to pay cash and you don't get a receipt....just the waiter calculating your tab in their head and telling you what you owe including tax. Very fishy indeed. Also, coffee was not good and service was practically non-existent. Had to ask for everything from salt, pepper, ketchup and jam. They don't give you water unless you ask for it too. Menu is on a small 8 x 10 chalkboard at the front bar. Lastly, there is no clock in the room. I know we all have celI phones but to have to turn it on to get the time at night is annoying. Also, no USB plugs so bring an adapter if you dare to stay here. The glass entry doors from the exterior of the hotel to the restaurant are chained shut with a padlock too...this must be a fire code violation. I would never stay there again and only booked this hotel to attend a business function held there.

Staff did not tell us of physical $100 charge of damage deposit per room so we found out at the front desk. Their staff are like you took them out of an ESL class. Our non-smoking rooms were on a floor that clearly accepts cannabis but not cigarettes and the floor manager told us they can't control their guest?! What!! It's a non-smoking floor! The walls are paper-thin and of course it's cheap. You get worse than what you pay for. I've stayed at super 8's that are better even motels. This place has decor like it was slapped on, the wallpaper hanging off at the edges. The soap/shampoo ledge of the shower had black fuzz on it. The fridge in room is so bloody loud and the heat/ac goes off every few hours and again is so freaking loud!

We were supposed to stay in Feb 28/29. The bad experience started at check-in where they refused to accept a visa debit for the deposit; it is not money?
The room was something else; stains on the carpet, stains on the doors and walls and a hole in the wall. My wife said that could not understand how this could be called "Clean". Although it was mid-afternoon, there were many room service trays lined up in the hall - an invitation for pests.
We cancelled the reservation and left.

Best Ever Superbowl Sunday February 13 and Beijing Olympics combined for 2022. Staff Front desk quickly signed guests in. Managers were professional, insuring safety for all visitors. Chambermaid service provided spotless rooms with fresh clean linens and towels. Very quiet 2 day stay even though two epic events in California with Superbowl and Beijing Olympics. In house Restaurant provided fantastic tasty food.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The first room we checked into had hair extension clips under the bed, a piece of sharp plastic, a bottle cap and some unidentified orange thing under the bed. Clearly this hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. We went to the reception to let them know and they told us they would switch us room. The next room had mold all over the ceiling. The third room they changed us to had straw wrappers and a disposable camera wrapper (didn’t they stop making these in the early 2000s) on the floor in plain view. Finally we decided to leave and we’re told since we used the room they would charge us 79$ and return our 29$. Even though the rooms they gave us shouldn’t have been given to us in the first place. We ended up coming to the Hampton inn down the street. Honestly pay the $40 more to stay here. I promise it’ll be worth it.
