The staff were amazing - very helpful and kind. I was unimpressed by the "newly renovated" rooms - while the lobby was lovely, the rooms were not. Our family of 3 which included a baby had to switch rooms after finding that our bathroom was not properly cleaned (there was a LOT of dirt behind the door that looked like it was there for years) and a big stain on the carpet in the corner of the room (not great when we wanted to put the baby in his chair on the floor). These two things were enough to turn me off and want to ask for a new room.
Our second seemed to be cleaner but we encountered a wet spot on the carpet that never seemed to go away.
Maybe my expectations were too high for this newly renovated property? We've stayed at the Marriott location in Downtown Markham and had a much better experience. I don't see us staying here again.

Hotel has supposedly been renovated - hvac is still awful - uncomfortable rooms and beds - stuffy and basic furnishing.
Staff are not helpful or well trained.
Minimal Starbucks, did not try restaurant
There is literally nothing available to walk to nearby for meals.
Had a lost and found issue , called early the next morning after checkout; never received a call back. Drive out to location and no one had acted on the request. Samir at the front desk was particularly unfriendly and unhelpful.

I recently stayed at the Delta by Marriott, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The food and beverage team especially a lady named Suneena was incredibly rude, which made my stay uncomfortable. Their lack of professionalism and courtesy was surprising and disappointing. I expected better service from a brand like Marriott. I hope they address these issues for future guests. Upon taking it up with the General manager, the response was dead and very not expected.

We stayed 2 nights a week ago when visiting relatives in Markham. The Hotel is kept clean and modern with a lot of sitting space. We used the jacuzzi and it was clean, large and well maintained. The room was well comfortable and spacious. We slept very well in their king size bed. The staff was attentive and efficient. Nanor, in particular, was very helpful and accommodating. I will definitely return to this hotel when in Markham.

The rooms are very clean and nicely updated, and the beds comfortable. Love the large shower. The fitness facility is well equipped and the swimming pool is accessible. Staff are very pleasant- would definitely book again. Only downside was that the dining room was closed during our stay, so no complimentary breakfast. A grab and go station was set up in the lobby with continental breakfast offerings.

Newly renovated hotel (still smelled new!) - everything was tip-top shape. Great comfy bed, nice bathroom with strong water pressure. Fast WiFi.
As a Titanium elite, didn’t receive an upgrade, but received access to the pantry, a 24-hour room with coffee, snacks, pastries and desserts. It worked great.
Fantastic gym and pool, even with a peloton! Starbucks in the lobby, this is a great choice for business travelers like me.
Highly recommend!
