Absolutely stunning property and charming service. We stayed here on our Wedding night - definitely recommend to anyone else staying in the local area. Particularly for a couple looking for a getaway. The room was immaculately presented, comfortable and quiet. The service from the owner, Judy, was amazing - she has a warmth and lovely kindness about her and a real...

This house is not only beautiful but just what you would imagine a BnB looking like. We stayed in a room downstairs and it was fantastic! Spacious, cozy, clean and well decorated. The tv was a bit small but we weren't in the room too much anyways. You can't beat the location, it's so close to yummy restaurants and shops!...

My wife & I stayed here two nights while visiting Auckland at the end of a 2 week cruise around NZ. It's a beautiful place to have ended our travels Down Under. Very easy walk to and from the ferry terminal that connects Auckland to Devenport. We're glad we chose to stay in Devenport rather than in the city. The...

Judy was our wonderful hostess. Her B&B was right in the center of Devonport. It is a Victorian House with a warm friendly interior. Our room was upstairs with a small balcony, a very comfortable bed, and furnished complete with our own tea settings. Breakfasts were delicious and served in the open common area by the kitchen, which was large,...

I visited 'Peace & Plenty' with friends for high tea in April of this year & enjoyed it so much I went back & tried the hospitality of an overnight stay - I wasn't disappointed. I had a lovely, very comfortable room - maybe the en-suite could have been a bit bigger - & I found Judy a perfect host...

Wonderful location, great host, superb breakfast and a very warm and cozy room. This is a quiet location with the ferry giving you access to downtown Auckland in just 15 minutes. Our host was amazing. She provided excellent advice of the area and made us feel right at home. If you want a solid B&B in the Auckland area this...

I stayed here with my sister and parents in May when we came over from Sydney for a family members funeral. A sad situation made a lot more bearable by staying in such a beautiful place with such a gracious and lovely host. We stayed in an upstairs room with a balcony (the name of which escapes me!) but it...

Again on a friends recommendation myself and the Minister for War (wife) spent 2 x nights in what can be best described as a warm, comfortable, and enjoyable environment in the heart of Devonport. Our host Judith has set the standard for the most visually enjoyable and hospitable period home which she has generously opened for the discerning public. If...

We loved everything about this B&B. Judy, the host was warm and caring, the dog simply adorable. Nothing was too much trouble for Judy. She was very knowledgeable about the local area and driving distances to places further afield in the North Island. The house was amazing. The room we stayed in was absolutely perfect and I had the best...

We all lead busy lifestyles and so to relax in a lovely Victoria bath tub is rather special! We're very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to welcoming you back at some future date.

The Inn is in an ideal location for enjoying the delights of Devonport – 2 minutes from the ferry, and around the corner from cafes, restaurants, shops and the fantastic cinema. We’d booked the Devonport room but, on arrival, Judy offered us a free upgrade to the Albert room which we took – it doesn’t have a view but it...
