Such a spacious comfortable unit with almost everything you could need included.
Really close to restaurants, ferry terminal, supermarket and walks.
Bed & pillows were good and location was very quiet.
Just a couple if things - a clothes rack for wet stuff would have been handy and watch out for the sneaky step in the middle of the landing...really needs a little warning strip 👣.

5 min walk from the ferry terminal, in a quiet street (the whole peninsula is quiet) in the back of the building there is a self contained apartment, with two bedrooms on the ground floor with toilet and bathroom... upstairs there is a huge living with kitchen , sitting area and relaxing chairs.
All you need is there,
host and hostess are kind, willing to help (they tried to book another room for us with the B&B as all was fully booked and we wanted to stay extra) and gave nice tips about the neighborhood (breakfast at the navy museum) etc.
Devonport is nice and quiet, one street with a pub (the Patriot) a few restaurants, some nice beaches to walk to and a hill to climb...
The Ferry ride is only 15 min from Auckland...
All you need is there,

We really enjoyed our stay at Duck Inn. It is walking distance to the Devonport Ferry Terminal, cafes and shops.
The beds were very comfortable, the place was so clean, there is off Road parking and the hosts were approachable and helpful.
If ever visiting Devonport and looking for a self contained unit, I recommend staying here.

This is the second time I have been to stay at Duck Inn and the first time for my husband. We enjoyed the lovely apartment, the closeness to Auckland Central.
The apartment is very spacious with bedrooms, bathroom and outdoor area on the entry level and upstairs a lounge, dining and kitchen area.
Jackie and Craig are really lovely hosts and we would definitely recommend staying with them

Walking distance from the ferry (5 mins) and walking distance to the shops (2 mins), Duck Inn is centrally located in Devonport but with easy access to the ferry and central Auckland.
Craig and Jackie are excellent hosts, and Gus is always at hand to check each guest out.
Inside the two bedroom unit, two bedrooms, toilet and bathroom downstairs and lounge upstairs, all clean and tidy ready for your stay. Beautiful bed and pillows await for your night time rest, and upstairs ready for a relaxed time by yourself or entertaining friends.
Will be back!!!!!
