We stayed here when we visited New Zealand in 2019. It was quiet, extremely clean and well maintained. The host went out of his way to be sure we had all our needs met. It was a short ferry ride to Auckland, and a nice stroll through the village to the B&B. The village had great restaurants and some fun shopping, along with a well stocked grocery store (all within walking distance). I would highly recommend the slower pace in Devonport. I feel fortunate to have found this place.

Just lovely!! Wonderful, central location within easy walking distance to shops, ferry etc. Rooms are beautifully appointed -- renovation looks brand new and is very thoughtfully done. Bedding is lush and beds are super comfortable. Room 1 has a GIANT bathtub which was a delight to soak in after hiking around and up Rangitoto. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

This is a lovely , elegant Victorian villa restored tastefully into a beautiful guest house. We stayed in the ground floor king size bedroom with a large bathroom attached. Extras like cheese and crackers and fruit are included. The host is helpful and approachable. Highly recommended !

Stayed here recently based on location (Devonport - lovely place) and price (reasonable especially given quality of the guest house). David & Tracy were extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms are really nice. Across the street is an Indian restaurant with delicious food and the main shops in Devonport are a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a wonderful stay in a great location.

Tracy and Dave are wonderful hosts! Though only 6 months in the business, they make you feel like special guests and part of the family at the same time. Their guest house is newly remodeled to include 4 guest rooms and an inviting eating/sitting area. Each room has private bath, comfortable bed, television. The back yard has a large hot tub and comfortable lounge chairs. The location couldn't be better-walking distance from the Auckland city ferry. If you have lots of luggage, they will come pick you up. Great way to be close to the city but without the hustle bustle.
