Trendy Lara garners appreciation for its spacious and immaculate rooms, though issues with air conditioning and lighting have been noted by some guests. While the hotel's remote location may necessitate transportation for excursions, many visitors commend the attentive staff and lively atmosphere, despite mixed reviews about the evening entertainment. The comprehensive amenities are a hit, yet the value is sometimes questioned due to extra costs for certain dining and services. Overall, the cleanliness and dedication of the housekeeping staff consistently earn high marks from guests.

Just back from a week at Trendy Lara. Suitcases sanitized at arrival sanitizer stations throughout hotel and small bottles in rooms when you arrive. Temperature checks at arrival and prior to entering main restaurant The cleaning in this hotel is 5* staff are very aware of covid measures and we felt extremely safe. We couldn’t fault them on this and commented most days how clean it was.

Rooms were lovely and new with everything you needed mini bar re stocked daily English tv channels comfy beds and lots of storage however it’s rations on coffee within the rooms as only 1 sachet each a day. If you enjoy your coffee I would recommend bringing some with you. No milk in room either! And bring a iron

Food in hotel was generally very good We enjoyed the evening dinner and lunch in the buffet restaurant and also the kebabs and ice creams at lunch by the pool. However breakfast wasn’t of great standard and it was a constant hassle trying to get soya or milk alternatives from the staff I had emailed in advance to check they had it yet the only place I could get it was at breakfast and even then the staff seemed to go on a man hunt for it for a good 10 mins. Drinks at the sports bar lobby bar and pool bar was a bit inconsistent often getting our orders wrong but wasn’t too much of a problem. A la carte itallian and Noma was excellent!!! Pre book the day you arrive or you won’t have a cat in hells chance of getting a reservation.

Location wise this hotel is at the end of Lara beach with the number 7 bus directly outside taking you to the shops if you need them. However Beach is really not to our taste there’s a fabric partition fence between where you sit for lunch and a refuge camp which just feels really odd we sat there for 2 mins and had to leave and go back to hotel as I can’t honestly say that’s what I want to look at when I’m on my holidays. If you are a big beach person I would say take a look at another hotel but if you just want the pool then I wouldn’t worry about it

Had a great time at the trendy lara. Just come back from a week stay. Found the hotel to be very clean and they were very thourgh about covid, hand sanitizer everywhere, all staff wearing masks and face shields. The staff in the buffet had your plate off you on a tray and put the food you wanted on your plate without touching your plate.
We loved the fact you had to get a boat to the beach. The beach was clean apart from the odd bit of rubish guests had not put in the bin.
There are some dogs at the beach, they are no problem at all. Most come no where near the sun beds, there were 2 that walked near the beds but they are the sofest, nicest dogs, all they want is abit of shade from the hot sun. The hotel does feed them so they dont come begging.
The chinese and rest of the world a la carte restaurants are more than worth the 10 euros. The food is excellent.
The coffee bar is a great place to sit and have some cake and a coffee or apple tea.
The grounds were lovely and well kept.
The rooms were very nice. We had a side room and had abit of a seaview which was nice. The shower was a rainfall one which i love. There were to sinks aswell so no arguing over that.

The only problem we had was the entertainment. It was more club 18 30s than 5 star. The pool party on friday was like a rave. And the music was to loud at 11.30pm, you could hear it in out room while trying to sleep.
That is the only reason i didnt give it a 5 star review

Me and my husband booked a couple of weeks before for 9 nights, the price was reasonable and we love A la Carte restaurants so didn’t mind paying the extra 10 Euros each and 20 for the steak restaurant, we ate at all 5 a la cartes, they were all good. We had no problem whatsoever booking them and they were fairly quiet. The buffet was fine too and well organised.

The snack bars in the hotel and at the beach were all very good, I loved the little boat which takes you to the hotel’s private beach, nice experience.

All the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful!

We had a sea view room on 7th floor of block C. You could see for miles towards the sea and inland, I used to love having a morning coffee on the balcony, I even watched a farmer herding his goats one morning, not something I expected to see at all.

I couldn’t believe how much storage space there was in the bedroom, it was endless, we certainly couldn’t fill it. Room was cleaned daily, minibar replenished daily, clean towels, toiletries kept stocked up.

There is hand sanitiser all over the hotel, the staff wear masks the whole time.

Service around the pool during the day was very good with the skater waiters keeping you topped up with drinks, the pool was lovely and there was plenty of spare beds throughout the day. There was a metre and a half between the sets of beds so you didn’t need to get close up to anybody, I felt perfectly safe at the hotel the whole time I was there.

The cocktails in my opinion weren’t the bast, I tried lots of different ones , I did like the Baileys cocktail in the lobby bar and they would also do a nice Black Russian if you asked them too, they will do cocktails which aren’t on their menu.

They had Gordon’s gin and Archers both of which I enjoyed.

Entertainment was hit and miss at night time, though mostly the waiters were very good with their service, with the exception of one who seemed to struggle a bit with remembering his orders.

In the Sports bar the barman was great he would
bring your drinks before you even ordered them, the lobby bar was good, they did a good Baileys coffee, I thought the Irish coffee was not so good.

The hotel is on the edge of the resort, there is a bus which costs about 35p each way into to the strip which we used. People were getting taxis I didn’t mind using the bus.

Like many others it hadn’t been the plan to go to Turkey, we went as we had 3 holidays cancelled this year due to Covid and there were limited places you could go due to having to quarantine on return. It was extremely hot in September so I would say only go if you like the heat. I am so pleased I got the opportunity to go somewhere and would readily go again if need be. We both had a great time.i

We stayed at Trendy Lara at the end of August during Covid. We stayed in a swim up duplex villa, which if you can spend a little bit more is most definately worth it. You get free access to all the a la carte restaurants as well as the option to have breakfast and lunch delivered to your room each day included. No buffet fiasco to deal with.

The villas and garden suites are separated from the main complex by a small gate. It was much more peaceful than the chaotic side with the main pool. You get waiter service around the pool and the villas have their own bar. (serves premium drinks, Baileys, Jack Daniels, Smirnoff, prosecco)

The villa itself is huge and is designed to sleep 4, but in terms of the size of the 2 floors it has a lot of space. (2 full size bathrooms) The room is equipped with robes and slippers, toothbrush, Colgate toothpaste, shaving foam & disposable razor, cotton pads, ear buds, plus all the usual shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc.

The fridge is stocked daily with beer and soft drinks

On arrival you have a full size bottle of J&B Whiskey, premium Vodka, Beefeater gin & a bottle of red wine.
I found all of the wine at the hotel to be quite enjoyable. Cocktails not so much, but OK.

In terms of the a la carte restaurants, I found the atmosphere to be zero in each one. There is a Steakhouse, Chinese, World, Italian, Fish/Greek & Teppenyaki.
There is nothing particularly nice about their interiors. There is no music playing, stark lighting & nothing in particular about the decor to differentiate that you are in a steakhouse or a chinese. However the food was excellent in all of the restaurants. Our favourite was the World a la carte, which had the most 'restaurant feel' to it whilst the others felt like a bland room.

The Trendy Lara was sold to me as a high end hotel. I disagree with this. The Villas make it feel more premium but the hotel generally is fairly mid range otherwise.

It is a fairly new hotel so I did feel that everything in the rooms and lobby etc was very fresh and clean.

The beach is awful. Immediately next to a refugee camp. (nappies on the beach) The hotel is not beach front, you need to take a 5 min boat ride.

Waterpark was fun for the kids but other Lara Beach hotels had equal or better. The grounds of the hotel are not huge so we felt quite comfortable letting the kids (8 and 11) go to the snack bar and waterpark alone as they could not get lost.

Overall an enjoyable holiday, villa worth the extra

My husband and I spent a week at Trendy Lara and I was disappointed to find the swim up room I booked wasn’t swim up at all but was around a private pool, that wasn’t really a big deal but our room was right in the corner with no sun at any part of the day, there was extra sun loungers round the private pool but guests from the family rooms upstairs were to use those, I don’t understand why the family rooms are on the second floor as I watched people having to leave buggies downstairs, would make more sense to have them on the ground floor. The room itself was massive and very well maintained by our lovely maid Nuran, on my husbands birthday she made some towel art with fresh flowers which was a lovely touch, mini bar was refilled every day and tea and coffee is available. The hotel is doing a good job of keeping people Covid safe it’s just a shame some of the guests aren’t bothered. Spent some time at the beach which has a good snack bar but there is a migrant camp right next to it , didn’t seem to be a problem tho. The hotel is a bit away from the shops on Lara strip but the no 7 bus stops right outside and takes 5 mins , all in all this is a great family hotel but not so good for an older couple looking for peace and quiet .

Arrived on the 8th of August for a 9 night stay! After a quick 30 minute transfer we arrived at around 10pm greeted by the porters with a large disinfectant gun ready and waiting for the luggage. Once the luggage was misted, we went through to reception for temperature checks and a very quick check in.

Room

Stayed in room 3733 which had a lovely view of the hotel grounds and the sea if you looked to the side. Amazing modern room with a very comfy bed and a great rain shower. The room came with robes and slippers as well as a mini bar that was restocked daily.

Pools

Pools were great with plenty of loungers all spaced out, at the start there were hardly any guests so felt very luxurious. Towards the end of the holiday it got a bit close for comfort at sometimes.

Food

Endless options for food, corona edition of the main restaurant meant that staff served you the food which was placed behind Perspex screens. All very safe. Very nice meat selection all of amazing quality.
Lunchtime was great as there were lots of snacks available, or a sit down service in the snack restaurant with menu choice or the main restaurant!
Loved the branded ice cream at 15:00, Cornetto, twister lollies and others, never had this included before! Great touch.

Beach

Beach reached by a quick boat trip, be careful though as the sand there gets super hot! Sea is only slightly cooler than the pool but gets deep quick! Beach bar had the best WIFI as hardly anyone was there! Beach bar also nice and served food and ice creams.

Service

Service was fantastic, from the guys on rollerskates around the pool to the waitresses and waiters in the restaurants all great. We found the adult only section in the main restaurant brilliant, topping up drinks and remembered what you liked.

Entertainment

Great team who were very entertaining, we liked the fact they always made people smile and have a good time, even if language barriers got in the way. Shout out to Rezul, Emrah and Remzi. Never will you see an Aqua gym quite like Emrahs 😂😂

Evening entertainment consisted of live music, dance shows and a fantastic garden party with live DJ and singer, which was amazing!

One small point was many guests ignored the rules about reserving sun beds, many towels on beds before 9am, we also found quite a few big groups of guests who were on holiday together, a group of 10 ‘lads’ caused quite a scene with the constant drinking and swearing around the pool. Not the hotels fault but shouldn’t really be allowed to be on holiday together due to COVID.

All in all a great, safe holiday, all the Covid measures put in place reassured us and would go back in an instant! Thanks Trendy Lara for a great holiday ❤️

Had a lovely week away to Turkey during the peak of COVID-19, however we were assured we would be safe and well looked after. First impressions of the hotel when we arrived were amazing, very helpful staff who showed us too our room, took our luggage for us and told us where we could eat in the hotel as we didn't arrive until after 10pm. Excellent communication between the staff and guests. Temperature checks were in place throughout the whole of our stay to the hotel. Excellent Pool areas, on the first say that we arrived when sat by the pool we had staff members coming to take our drinks order regularly however once the first day was over we didn't then see anyone else to take our order and therefore had to go to the pool bar each time. We were sat around the small pool however noticed that people sat round the larger pool got their drinks orders taken very often. We also had a massage whilst in the hotel, i was a bit cautious due to other reviews i had seen previously however this was a very pleasant experience, they made us feel so welcome and were so helpful. The only fault we had was the card machine was not working, this meant my partner was driven to a nearby cash point (outside of the hotel by about 15 minutes) to withdraw some cash. We were originally under the impression that the hotel was not accepting cash payments due to the pandemic. Whilst away we were approached by the hotel photographers who offered us a free photo session with no obligation to buy these, the photos were lovely upon review and could to fault them. However the pricing to buy these photos were very very high. We were estimated over 400 euros for an album with 35 photos in. The photographers are aware that tourists are going to want to but the excellent photos but con you by making the prices so extreme. We paid a lot for out photos and would only recommend the photoshoot if you have the money to be able to pay for these comfortably. The hotel was lovely, there was a good range of places to eat throughout the day and the staff were very helpful. The maids were excellent and ensured our rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day. Multiple hand sanitiser stations were available throughout the hotel. In our room we had a large TV however this was very tempremental, we were unable to watch netflix even though this says it was available. Overall we will be returning to Trendy Lara in the coming few years and now are aware what changes we need to make to ensuring the holiday is as best as it can be.

Like many people we’ve had a few changes to our holiday this year due to the ever evolving Covid picture. Just 9 days before we were due to travel we swapped to this hotel and I have to say it was like a blessing from God.

Every detail of this hotel is fantastic so much so we’ve swapped our holiday in October to return.

On arrival at the hotel at around 1am we were asked if we were hungry and was shown in the direction of Dom Bistro. Our expectations were that there would be a buffet to pick some food from, how wrong we were, we were presented with a menu to choose what we wanted the food was excellent (grilled chicken, rice, veg and fries). This was a good start.

We then went to the rooms which were beautiful well designed with plenty of storage, a fridge with soft drinks, beer and water in (refreshed daily). Coffee and Tea making facilities again refreshed daily.

The next day we went to the pool there is ample space and no requirement to get up at the early hours to put the towels out. Entertainment is on going throughout the day(apart from Sunday’s) water polo, darts(with the excellent Ramsey), Archery, music. Kids clubs are available.

Night time is alternative nights of live music or shows.

The Garden Party on Tuesday is fantastic it brought so many people together to make friendships that hopefully last a lifetime.

Food very good in buffet, Chinese out of this world.

There was constant Covid testing with temperature cheques each before entering main restaurant, plenty of sanitisers around.

Wonderful hotel, beautiful place(36 pence on bus to shops), great staff.

Highly recommend

Trendy Lara is a 6 year old 5*  premium  hotel situated at the very end of the Halk beach
Stylish, comfortable, large, modern and non opulent but elegant
Facilities are great and mostly free of charge. Large indoor swimming pool, great fitness centre. Generous outdoor pool and sport area
Also heated outdoor pool available!
Full resort covering and free WiFi
Hygienic rules are strictly followed by the stuff (desinfction and  mask wearing). Guests are nonetheless not obliged to wear masks
Well trained, upper level restaurant personnel, english speaking. Overall accommodating, friendly, helpful and available staff. Special thumb up for Mertcan from the Animation team and for Janel and Melis from Concierge who were especially courteous and accomodating
Even being a family oriented hotel, the restaurant has a 18+ area, which is very convenient
The food is diverse, tasty and served by the very well organised restaurant personnel.
Rooms are large,  tastefully designed, all with balconies, very comfortable large bed. Fully outfitted and good isolated rooms, according to the hotel ranking. Clean and  tidiness all over
Despite winter season and unfortunately poor occupancy (about 10%), all-day entertainment was ensured  through various events and live evening music

As drawbacks, i would mention its location, being not beachfront placed (beach access only via boat shuttle, being isolated from the Kundu beach area)
This constraint might be a no go for those keen to spend the summer holiday on the beach and not at the pool
The central A/C/heating device is quite noisy
No Antalya shuttle bus offered . But the public buss station is right in front of the hotel

Despite these minimal shortcomings, i fully recommend Trendy Lara. It is  a  upper class  5* hotel that makes you feel extremely comfortable (even more in summer i assume :) )

First of all I’ll promote the positives:

Check in was really quick and we were issued room 1728 a massive bed for 2 and a beautiful view of the sea and the pools. This room was very spacious and the balcony was huge. Staff make this hotel all friendly especially Ali the pool waiter on skates our cleaner Arife who worked so hard and always made sure we were happy with everything. All the lobby bar staff to many to mention by name but they keep your glass topped up constantly. Arif on reception who sorted out our late check out room at a great price. The little boats that take you across to the beach are lovely and a nice breeze as you sail across. Beach bar food was lovely. Sports bar is ok but not like other 5* hotels we’ve been too. Pools are of a great size would be better if one was adult only. Staff will always try to do their best to make sure your holiday is a fab one. Bus stop directly outside and cost 33p each way onto the strip (Pay by card as they don’t take cash). Hand sanitisers every where (please use them) and temperature checks on entering hotel and restaurants.

Negatives: no all inclusive wristbands for either adults or children. When we arrived we were greeted by drunken teenagers who couldn’t have been no older than 14 wanting to take on the world. Sun beds having to get up at 6am to get a sun bed before they all were taken .. not what we go on holiday for and our usual type of hotel we wouldn’t have this problem.
Food isn’t the greatest and we struggled to find something decent for our evening meal after day 3 so we started to go out onto the strip for food. Parents screaming, swearing and smacking at their children constantly all day at the pool isn’t great entertainment. Pool music is to too loud.

I will also say the illegal immigrant camp next to the beach makes the area look scruffy but saying that we had no trouble from anyone and they kept themselves away down at the waters edge If you see the dogs around the shower area give them a cool down.

Thank you for a nice week but I highly doubt we will be back
