Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Titanic Mardan Palace impresses many guests with its opulent atmosphere and luxurious amenities, including expansive pools and a variety of dining options. While the rooms are generally elegant, some have reported maintenance issues. The secluded location receives mixed reviews, as does the value, with some travelers feeling certain extras are overpriced.
Service is often commended for its professionalism, though not without occasional lapses. Cleanliness is typically upheld, yet there are suggestions for more consistent room servicing.

Detailed Reviews
Magnificent hotel
Food excluding buffet 5*
Water park, bowling, Waffle House / ice cream , free arcades, above and beyond
Waiter service around pool fantastic, on skates and really can’t do enough.
Cleanliness is great. Every where is spotless including rooms.
Mini bar in hotel, free safe and Wi-Fi throughout hotel all excellent
All branded drinks, soft drinks actual cans of coke, sprite etc, then branded spirits and lovely cocktails
Rooms are nice, good quality and finish.
Life guards very nice and helpful especially in splash park.
Comfortable sun beds, very generous with towels, unlimited supply.
Great kids club with an itinerary of events, under 4s can go and you stay with them, over 4s can drop off or you can stay with them - all free.
However some areas I think can be improved
No kids food / menu / corner in buffet. Food catering for kids is poor as the food isn’t English if you have a fussy child you will struggle unless they eat chips for lunch and dinner! I have been to hotels where they have kids plates, forks etc, this was so far from anything kid friendly at all which I think it strange in a family hotel. Also Buffet isn’t catered for English, Chips and veggies for breakfast. No usual, saugsage bacon hash browns etc. and only real meat offering at night was lamb cooked in 20 ways.
Have to pay extra for all a la carte which are all part empty, why don’t they just let people use them, at least one per stay would be nice.
Have to pay extra (from £75 for the day!) for cabanas which take up half the pool (particularly sunny areas) and not enough normal sun beds for people unless you get up early.
We Emailed ahead asking for cot as late arrival and tired children, no cot in room on arrival, no point asking in advance. No thought about room allocation. We had small children and a balcony that was we so easy to fall over and fall 4 floors. Also very noisy room right by the bar. Eastern side of the hotel has shade all afternoon so no sitting on balcony in sun.

Our overall opinion of Mardan Palace is that the hotel is wonderful with amazing facilities and excellent staff but there are one or two little niggles that need addressing. I still give the 5* rating because it's certainly one of the best hotels I've stayed in and the faults are minor. Firstly there should be a maitre D or staff member to greet you at the entrance to the main buffet restaurant. We arrived not knowing where to sit or what the routine was and stood waiting to be seated for a while until we realised it was just sit anywhere. We were short of towels in our room on arrival but they soon arrived when I called housekeeping. In June I stayed at the Titanic Deluxe Bodrum and all a la cart restaurants except the steak restaurant were free so I was surprised that there was a charge for all of the a la cart restaurants in the Mardan Palace. We did go to each of them though and felt it was worth the extra cost but actually the pizza restaurant turned out to be our favourite food. The seafood restaurant was an amazing setting and staff here were super attentive. We were there for xmas and the gala dinner was superb and entertainment exceeded our expectations. Although we didn't like Lara Beach area compared to other parts of Turkey the hotel was certainly worth a visit.

I have travelled all four corners of the world and this hotel is by far the best I have stayed. At check in we were welcomed with champagne and our bags taken from us to be delivered to our room. We had a dedicated member of staff, Burak, to complete our check in. Burak showed us to our room while informing us of the hotel services and amenities. The Room was extravagant with a homely feel. Our room was cleaned, fresh towels, beds made and mini bar restocked daily. The Hotel has many options for food and drink with multiple a La carte restaurant specialising in different cuisines. The buffet for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner had food for everyone. There is a patisserie in the lobby which serves the finest desserts. There is a main pool which is spectacular. In addition, there is an indoor heated pool and an outdoor heated pool which are all clean daily and fully supervised. There is a spa which allows free access to the amenities with treatments at an additional cost. However, the best part of the hotel is the staff. The staff are friendly and polite and on hand for any request. Burak, our dedicated member of the management team, dealt with us directly. Burak’s attention to detail and professionalism was outstanding. He understood it was our birthday while on holiday and arranged for a surprise birthday cake during our à la cart restaurant meal and provide champion and birthday cake in the hotel room. This attention to detail separates the service I have received in other 5 star hotel which is why this was one of the best holidays and the best hotel we have stayed in. Me and my family will certainly be te turning in the near future.

+1
I visited Titanic Mardan Palace for the celebration of the wedding anniversary of a relative. Right from the moment you enter the hotel, you can see the grandeur. It is beautifully decorated.
The rooms are good but there were a serious issues with the housekeeping services. The drawer with the hair dryer was broken and kept hanging out during our stay, even after constant reminders they never did anything about it. Since there were screws hanging out of it, it did not feel safe. Also, my room was not cleaned properly for the 3 days that i was there. They never changed cups and glasses and never even bothered to pick up the used ones. The towels remained where they were. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned.
The room did not have a pressing iron which normally all five stars have, i had to ask for it and was told that i should keep it outside my room as soon as i was done. Considering the fact that the hotel wasn’t even on its full capacity, such a thing seemed really weird.
Coming to the spa facilities, they were amazing. I had an amazing time at the Hamam. The pool was a great experience too.
The food was good. The wide variety of options at their numerous restaurants was something i really enjoyed.
Since i visited in January, everything was pretty much closed so I can’t comment on the rest of the activities
Overall, the resort has a lot of activities and things to do but it’d be 5/5 for me if they manage to improve their housekeeping services.

Me and my fiancé stayed here for 7 nights and I’m gonna list the pros and cons.
Pros:
We arrived at 6am at the hotel and usually the check in is done at 14:00, but they didn’t make us wait that long they gave us a room at 9;00am and that was a huge relief because we were very tired, and the room was perfect they gave us a family room a upgraded room with sea and pool view and 2 huge rooms!!!
2.The service is extra perfect, everyone is so kind and as soon as you sit at a bar or restaurant or at the beach they come immediately within seconds to ask what they can serve you and they are always smiling and very kind and fast.
3.The pool area is very clean very safe with lifeguards always ready and also the beach is great it’s clean and has very comfortable beach beds.
4.costumer service is one of the best ever!!!
Cons
1.The food!! It’s very tasty the first day you get there but they repeat it every single day and there is absolutely nothing new it’s always the same thing and by the 4-5th day I couldn’t even look at the food because everyday was the absolute same breakfast, same lunch and same dinner!! It’s really a shame that such a fabulous hotel makes this kind of a mistake and because of this we will not go again the next year.
2.The hotels needs renovation because this kind of expensive hotel can’t allow to have broken tiles on the pool and some other things similar to that.

We travelled to the Titanic Marden in September for a last minute weeks holiday.
As soon as we arrived we were instantly impressed, the driveway & entrance were stunning. We stayed in a deluxe room, it was very spacious & opulent. Room was kept clean & the mini bar was stocked daily, the only downside was the air conditioning wasn’t very good it never seemed to cool the room down, and the TV needs to be upgraded to a smart tv like most other hotels.
We ate in all the restaurants and paying the additional charge was a small price to pay for the quality of food we received, our favourite being the Italian.
All areas of the hotel were kept very clean, the roller skate bar staff around the pool always delivered promptly, as did the evening bar staff. Evening entertainment was varied and if you wanted lasted long into the late night if you wanted.
Our only little issue about the hotel was the location, no where was really within walking distance, and if you wanted to visit any shops etc a taxi was needed.

We stayed there with my sister and her daughters, very nice, unique, and elegant hotel , well designed, nice rooms, big pools , delicious food. However we believe that customer service in some places around the hotel need to be worked on especially on the pool, lack of staff and services offered. As well in some dining facilities and main reception .Dinner time should last at least till 10:30 in restaurants, some areas on the pool need to be shaded by sun shades for kids & old people. Buggy/ golf-car services needs to be offered as we tend to walk long distances which is not convenient for a family with young children and elderly people. Room cleaning was not up to
The standard to the point where we had to complain for better cleaning services. In conclusion , we recommend Titanic mardan palace, Antalya,Turkey. We had a lovely time in this marvelous hotel, but we believe that customer service should me improved . Thank you!

Given the reputation and reviews I had high expectations for this hotel. Having now been,
I honestly can’t understand why there are any good reviews for this hotel. I regret every penny I spent going and needless to say I won’t be back.
Don’t be fooled by all the photos of chandeliers, grand staircases and gold leaf. Look closely and you’ll see a dirty hotel in places.
We arrived at midnight with a 2 year old and didn’t get so much as a hello, welcome or drink of water. The staff were so rude. We were told to sit down and wait, and after 15 mins I’d had enough and was eventually shown to our room which was dark, dirty and depressing.
3 rooms later we eventually ended up with a room that was cleaned before we took it.
Most of the staff aren’t particularly friendly and look a bit miserable. As others have said, very few speak English. I really struggled just to get a cup of tea. On more than one occasion whilst I was waiting to be served, the staff served the Russian guests first, even though they’d just turned up. The staff and management just aren’t bothered.
The beach is small and a 10 minute walk from the hotel. You’ll struggle to find a free lounger but there’s plenty of cabanas which have to be paid for.
We went mid October and the water in the swimming pools was freezing. The indoor pool wasn’t much better. I was told they don’t turn the heating on until November.
Probably the worst thing about this hotel is the food. The main buffet restaurant served the same food night… after night… after night. It wasn’t even appetising and by the third day I dreaded going in there. We paid £60 for the steak restaurant, which was a welcome change from the buffet but not sure it was worth that much. The desserts and patisserie are good and the 24hr bistro serves better food.
The hotel isn’t near anything and doesn’t offer any shuttle bus. They only offer you a taxi which was way too expensive.
I’ve been to other 5* hotels in Turkey (Delphin, Rixos etc) and this the worst one and the most expensive. I just didn’t get a good feel about this hotel and it’s the only holiday I’ve had where I wanted to be get back home. There’s a bit of a depressing atmosphere. Seriously people, you can do a lot better than this hotel for a lot less.

I just didn’t get a good feel about this hotel and it’s the only holiday I’ve had where I wanted to be get back home. There’s a bit of a depressing atmosphere. Seriously people, you can do a lot better than this hotel for a lot less.

An interesting place for sure. It is all inclusive, the service is excellent. The included restaurants have similar items on the menu. There is additional ala carte restaurants which we did not use. The buffet, included was delicious. It is decorated with lots of gold gild , padded furniture, mirrors and glass. (reminded me of Trump's Taj Mahal). An interesting decor for sure. Everything was exactly as advertised. One issue is that the pools are unheated. We were there in early October, so they were very cold (hardly anyone ever was in the pool). A nice place for families

We have just had a fantastic holiday staying at the Titanic Mardan Palace. We done some research before booking and it looked amazing and had great reviews, but it actually exceeded our high expectations.
From the moment we arrived in the expansive lobby and instead of the usual standing waiting at reception we were whisked away to a comfy seat and offered a drink, there was nice music in the background- which was a live string quartet!
We were taken to our room- again wow!
We toured the various bars and restaurants to get our bearings, there are lots of them. One restaurant and one bar is open 24 hours, nothing like partying out at the beach club then having a burger and chips before bed.
The bars are great, all premium brands and nothing is too much trouble. The waiters & waitresses around the pool are on skates, although it is a large area so you get your drinks pretty quickly.
All food was good where ever we ate, we didn’t always go to the buffet, we liked the mardan bistro restaurant with waiter service or the snack restaurants between the pool and the beach. There is no extra charge for this restaurant but there is a charge at some of the other premium restaurants. The patisseries, waffle bar and ice cream bar are all excellent.
Night entertainment was very good, usually a show in the square (different show every night and everyone was better than what you see on Britain’s Got Talent!), then a themed dj set at the beach bar which was always good with some nice dancing girls.
The bar on the pier is very nice, we hired on of the cabanas there and had waiter service for food/drink and our own access to the sea down on a lower platform.
Everything was fantastic, been to Lara Beach a few times but this will be the hotel to come back to.
All staff were brilliant and aimed to make your holiday special, which they did- thank you!

Dear ''Saralou23'',
To answer your question, the weather in December can be mild, with average temperatures ranging between 15-20°C (59-68°F). Some sunny days may still allow for sunbathing, especially during midday, though evenings can be cooler.
Best Regards,

Yes there certainly are zero alcohol lagers available as my wife doesn’t drink either. I also enjoyed a few bottles on our last day.
I’m not sure if they had any zero alcohol wine, spirits or cocktails though, as neither of us drink those!
Dear Manisha O,
First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing Titanic Mardan Palace for your holidays.
We would like to inform you that there is a small corner in the main Bosphorus Restaurant where the guests get some tasty vegan meals everyday (vegan buffet). Vegetarian cuisine is
also prepared by our master chefs at the main restaurant. It means our main restaurant is vegetarian-friendly as well.
Best Regards,
