We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is in a great location and the hosts Jeanette and Paul were very helpful for our daily trips in the Abel Tasman Nationalpark. The breakfast was very lovingly and homemade prepared and served on our own room.

The Pine Hill Lodge clean, comfortable, and convenient. It is about halfway between Nelson and Abel Tasman National Park. I chose it for 2 nights because the location gave me flexibility to spend a day in either of those places based on the weather. (It was a beautiful day so we went to Abel Tasman). The B&B is fairly remote, in a vineyard at the end of a side road, but Mapua is only a 10 minute drive, and we went there for dinner one night. The hosts were very friendly. They served us a nice breakfast each morning, which we ordered the night before. We were able to enjoy the hot tub one evening. I would recommend the Pine Hill Lodge to others.

Here you can relax and unwind on the sunny terrace. A spacious, beautifully decorated and light-flooded room and a large, bright bathroom with a small kitchenette are enough to recover from the many varied excursions in the surrounding area and further afield. Landlord Paul is happy to give tips and serves breakfast either on the terrace or in your own room.
On offer are delicious wines from the hotel's own vineyards, which the friendly hosts (from Hong Kong!) grow generously here. Nothing blocks the view with a virtually 360° panoramic view.
And the secluded whirlpool in the garden invites you to relax.

What a wonderful stay we had at Pine Hill Lodge. Unfortunately we were only able to stay there for two nights. The accommodation is located at the end of a small road and is therefore very quiet. Jeanette and Paul are very friendly and helpful people. Nothing is too much for them. The room was very nice with a nice terrace and access to the garden overlooking the vineyards. Breakfast was brought to the room and was more than sufficient and tasty for us. Should we be able to go back to beautiful New Zealand we will definitely go back to this place.

We stayed 3 lovely nights at the Pine Hill lodge. We felt very welcome with Jeanette and Paul. The house and our room were beautiful and very very clean. They provided us every morning with a delicious breakfast exactly at the time we wanted it. The property is surrounded by their vineyard and lovely green hills is in a magnificent setting. A couple of kilometers away you can dine or lunch at Mapua wharf and make a choice out of some fine restaurants. By car you can easily visit the Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson. We often think back with pleasure of our lovely stay in Ruby Bay with Jeanette and Paul and recommend everybody to stay a couple of days with them.

This is a beautiful house where we got a very warm welcome. The rooms are very neat with great comfort. The breakfast is perfect and after spending a day in nature you can relax in the hot tub.
The beautiful look over the vineyard and the meadow with sheep with lambs is amazing.

Idyllically located lodge, surrounded by vineyards, the building and the rooms are modern and technically up to date. Jeanette and Paul are friendly hosts and breakfast is served on the terrace or in the dining room. Highly recommended.

The lodge is located in the middle of the vineyards. A quiet piece of nature, you can relax perfectly between excursions in the area. Nice hosts Jeanette and Paul, breakfast is delivered to the room, you can then eat on your own terrace or in the courtyard.
Great hot tub, at night you can see stars !! Thanks for the great time!

Lovely accomodation on a Vineyard. Jeanette and Paul were very helpful and friendly and offered great advice on local places to visit. The breakfasts were simple but delicious, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all a great stay. Ruby Bay and the neighbouring Mapua have some nice restaurants, and Mapua is very pretty, with a small ferry taking you across the river to a reserve.
