The staff were amazing friendly and helpful going the extra mile to make our stay the best. The Hotel is clean and tidy, we will certainly return. Loads of restaurants outside making it a great venue for foodies. The bus stops just by the hotel so you can explore the main towns with ease.

Agios Nikitas is a lovely village with a number of restaurants to choose from. The beach was busy but we always found a good spot. Kids loved snorkelling and jumping off the rocks. Lovely family vibes.
The breakfast: fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, tomatoes, boiled eggs etc. kids had the choco pops! Kept them happy! It’s a small breakfast but perfectly good.
Thank you very much to the friendly staff we had a lovely stay.

The hotel is uneven and despite having an elevator you might need to use some stairs to curry your luggage.
The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was average but there were protective measures against covid.
I enjoyed my stay there since the room was comfortable and very centrally located, however I believe it was really expensive for what it offered (100€/night,during a period of crisis).

Hotel
The hotel was a nice 2-3* hotel. The rooms were of a decent size, our only disappointment was that we booked a double room, but were allocated a
twin room on arrival. Only 4 of the 34 rooms are double rooms, but the twin room still had a small double bed, and a single in it. You cannot move the beds, however. All rooms have wall mounted air conditioning units, and a small fridge at no additional cost, but the rooms did not have a safe. Having said that, we thought it was pretty safe to leave things in the room.
The hotel was the only hotel with a pool, on the roof of the hotel, which was of a decent size, and it was never that busy. Apart from a small section along one side, you can't do proper swimming due to the shape of it. There were about 25 sunbeds, but when we were there, not more than about 10 at any time were taken at any one time. There was also a pool bar, which came in very handy! Beer was 3.5 euros.
Continental breakfast was served, buffet style from 8-10.30 every day, and was mainly the same items everyday - fuits, cereal, pastries, cold ham and cheese, but there was enough variety to keep us happy for 2 weeks.
The staff were friendly, and the reception staff spoke English well enough, and Vicky on the pool bar spoke fluent English. The cleaners came round daily to change towels and sheets.
One of the more quirky things about this hotel is that there were birds nests in some of the corridoors, which were lived in, and a few times we had to dodge birds flying through the corridoor, but on the whole, they tended to be more scared of us, and flew in the opposite direction if they saw us.
Beaches
There were 2 main beaches at the resort.
The Aghios Nikitas beach at the bottom of the road (a 2 minute walk from the hotel) is a sand/small pebble beach with nice clear water. However, the sand/pebble area was
pretty small, and this beach was almost always packed, so we didn't go here much.
Milos beach had much more room, and while it was still a sand/small pebble beach, was much nicer in our opinion. There are 2 ways to get to this beach. For the more
adventurous, there is a gate at the pool, leading to a trail up and over the mountain. It took about 20 mins to get to the beach this way, at a leisurely pace, and the views are amazing. The path is well frequented, and you don't need a map to find your way. We did it in sandals, which were ok, but more solid footwear would have made it easier!
The other way to get to Milos is via the water ferry from Aghios Nikitas beach. It cost 5 euros for a return, and departs every 45 mins or so from Aghios Nikitas, from 11am. One word of warning - there is no shade at Milos, and there are no shops or amenities, so bear this in mind before you set off!
Area
Aghios Nikitas is basically one cobbled road with about 10 restaurants, and 3 convenience / tourist shops on it. There are a few tiny market stalls selling earrings etc.
If you are looking for nightlife, there are some late bars here, but no clubs. The restaurants are pretty decent, and the cost in Euros is similar to what you might expect to pay in the the uk in pounds. Our average meal came to between 25 and 30 euros for 2 people, including a couple of drinks. Fish dishes, which were the speciality, were very tasty, and fresh. All food is served with a basket of bread, which you will be charged for whether or not you eat it, unless you tell them you don't want it. Only one restaurant that we found (Poseidon) accepted card. The others were cash only. However, there is a cash machine at the top of the road.
If you want to explore the island, you can rent cars or scooters from the rental places at the top of the road. You can also hire taxis, and for about 10-15 Euros, you can get to Lefkada town which is the island's biggest town. There is also a bus service which runs from Agios Nikitas - the hotel or the vehicle rental places will have the timetable.
If you are looking for watersports or boat rental, you will need to getyourself over to Nidri one way or another. There are also some excursions you can do from there, details of which again will be at the car rental places. Our Greek options rep (Dimitri) had details, but he wasn't around that much.
Animals
I already mentioned the birds - there were also a few around at breakfast, it seemed that they had gotten used to people throwing them food, and would happily be around humans.
There are also a lot of cats aound the village, especially around the restaurants, which were mainly all open fronted, and most had seats on the street. Even under the roof, cats wandered around, so if you don't like cats, then this probably wouldn't be the place for you! Quite a few people owned dogs (on leads) too.
All in all, if your idea of a holiday is relaxing by the pool or on the beach, and not much else, then this is the place for you. If it is the nightlife you are looking for, I'd suggest looking for somewhere more lively.
