Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I only stayed here for 1 night. The facilities are good & clean, kitchen, toilets & showers. There is a small lounge with a couch, pool table and the postboxes for the permanent residents. A nice outdoor area with bbq. Powered campsites are underneath trees. They were busy putting up more cabins while I stayed here.

We stayed here one night in our campervan - felt the location was too far from the Abel Tasman Park which we wanted to visit. good spacious campsites but a small kitchen.. large refurbished bathrooms and showers (coin operated - didn't see a hairdryer)

Absolutely disgusting management. The location was great but dealing with the staff really put a huge downer on our trip. Never again. Find a different spot as these people are horrible. Please let me know if there is a management change. Otherwise never again.

We were desperate it was new year and hadn't booked a camp site thinking they would be easy to get, wrong!!! but the owner here found space for us on a site which was perfect. The facilities were so clean, but you do have to remember to take $1coins with you as the showers and coin operated. The grounds were lovely and well looked after, and your not crowded in, we are going back, it was lovely.

Pulled up yesterday having no reservation and they had space thankfully. What a lovely, clean site and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

It is worth remembering that you do have to pay €1NZ for the showers but it’s worth it, a whole bathroom to yourself, brand new and wonderfully clean and hot hot water 👌🏼
The communal kitchen is really well supplied with anything you may have forgotten, best kitchen we’ve used so far (2 weeks into our trip so we’ve used a few!)
Definitely stay here again!
