We did red level and also booked direct with resort. There are 2 options - red level for families and adults only red level. If adults only, there is an entire section dedicated to only red level. It’s quite nice, super quiet and relaxing. More dedicated service and things like sunscreen and bronzer are placed all over so you don’t need to bring your own. There are also more options of restaurants and items on the menu you get being red level. You have your own dedicated conceirge who literally does everything for you - from booking dinners (preferred reservation times) to activities inside and outside the resort, to arranging to have your clothes pressed (2 items per day included). The red level for families was worth every penny and gives a whole different level to in-resort child care and activities. Either way, I’m glad we spent the extra money to do it.

I went full board - so this was breakfast, lunch and dinner at 3 restaurants (one buffet) there were 3 other restaurants that were pay for ones. I got wine and/or beer with every meal as part of the full board- but had to pay for drinks all other times. I know that all inclusive is drinks anytime on top of that - but not sure if it has any other scope such as using the pay for restaurants free for a part of the week like some other all inclusive holidays do. Also your free drink package may only be local spirits and drinks with a supplement for more expensive ones
