Breakfast buffet with lots of choices, affordable bar food, lunch & dinner specials with a Portuguese flair. A beautiful patio around the building overlooks the outdoor pool. In Nov, a very quiet vacation property but still it met all our needs. Friendly helpful staff. Could have stayed longer!
Checked out the Aquarium in Lisbon for a fun afternoon. With rain cancelling our road trip, we had an enjoyable last day, lounging in comfort!
The Hotel grounds are maintained to a high standard. The pool area is great place to relax and chill with plenty of sun loungers with a swim up bar.
Food both daytime and evening was ok but could be more expansive to cater for young teenagers. Something for the hotel management to look into!
Breakfast was well catered with a great selection of hot and cold items and fresh juices and pastries.
Housekeeping was good and towels and bedding changed when required!
Not much to do in the surrounding area just a couple of restaurants nearby but a cab ride down town Lisbon changes the scenery.
Small things showed me why this hotel didn’t want me to give it an excellent rating e.g. some days there were no pool attendants to take orders for drinks/food. Also no bin to put used towels near the pool area. The hotel can also have a shop on site so guests can buy snacks etc for their room.
Areas for improvement: updating look of the rooms, having the fitness center more accessible (currently they have to unlock it for you), doing something about how loud it is when the neighbor above you moves a chair to sit in it.
Restaurant really needed work, efficiency wise and quality of food wise.
Things they do great: multilingual, random DJ by pool moments, lots of space, pool
Clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Great pool and lounging area. Good quality breakfast selection included. Evening meal in the restaurant was ok for a quick fix.
Location is a bit outside central Lisbon and we took cabs every day to and from, but they’re cheap and affordable €6-8. Perfect hotel for what we needed.
It was a great base for that.
Some parts are a little dated, and the rooms are probably on the cusp of needing a re-fit, but it’s not at all as bad as some reviews have made out. Room was clean, comfortable, well serviced and well equipped- apart from not having a clothes airer! That’s surely an easy fix for an apartment with a washing machine.
The pool area is lovely, with a swim-up-bar serving good quality drinks (Havana club in the well made Pina Coladas). It had a very relaxed vibe and we spent more time there than we anticipated 😉.
We made our own breakfasts and some lunches in the very useable apartment kitchen - we didn’t use local restaurants as we headed into Lisbon or Belem most nights. We had 2 lunches at the hotel restaurant- it was very nice and good value.
I would stay here again and recommend people consider it.
Just be aware- if you intend to use the train to Lisbon then there are 2 stations quite close but both a 20-25’ steep walk as the hotel is quite elevated- not great if it’s hot!
Bathrooms had some black discoloration on the grout
WiFi is not secure (no PW needed) and connectivity is poor
Not enough towels provided for a 2 bath apartment with 4 people staying. We had to ask for extra.
The apartment was a bit worn looking and in need of some renovating
The breakfast service is superb!
We were also surprised by the existence of so much space around, the pools, the fields for sports practice, etc.
It is a very pleasant accommodation, for those who like details, to rest with their own, with complete privacy, outside the city of Lisbon and to feel quite stunned.
Large rooms, massive balcony, lots of storage in every room, beds very comfy even had a dressing gown and slippers , we’ve never stayed in a part/hotel before I would do this again.
Lots of sun loungers around the pool, very clean and peaceful.
Lovely little swim up bar.
Will come back.
