The motel is just across the road from the beach and an easy walk to the shops and restaurant - 5-8mins.We stayed in a front studio unit which looked across to the beach. The back units have a very dismal outlook and would be depressing to stay in. The unit was reasonably clean and partly refurbished. The bathroom was still a work in progress. The blinds and curtains are past their 'use by' date. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a good widescreen flat TV. The unit was not serviced on our second day, just clean towels left in the bathroom. Whose idea was it to put a spa bath alongside the bed with no ventilation? Limited parking, we parked on the road outside the motel, this could be a problem in summer when the beach is busy. Overall very disappointing and would definitely not stay again.

Stayed in a back room up a seedy set of stairs, view of beach if you stretch you head . But views on side straight into the neighbours house and rear homes not quite what we expected. Very cold room with only an oil heater to warm the large space so dragged the mattress in to the lounge to stay warm. Large couch had a broken leg so don't use it. Overall would not stay there again, lots of badly executed decorating,

Had a two bedroom family unit with no views. The unit is in need of some maintenance with paint peeling on the inside and towel racks 'fixed' with tape. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom and if you stood in the kitchen you looked straight into your own bathroom and the frosted windows weren't 'frosted' enough - perhaps add a curtain or something in kitchen/dining area.
There were no recycling facilities or instructions. WI-FI was made available, but only worked in half of the unit.
The unit had a courtyard, but it was dated and the whole Motel needs a sprice up on the outside. The plants down the driveway could be trimmed to make it easier for car.

Great views from first floor apartment. Clean and well equipped. Good bed, great shower. On the down side, a lot of small maintenance issues. Shutters falling off windows, peeling paint on sills, torn shade sail, worn unravelling deck furniture. The lack of aircon was definitely an issue in the temperatures we have been experiencing. The manager very obligingly provided a fan , with the door to the deck open and all windows open , this enabled us to have a good sleep. Reasonable rates for the beautiful spot.

Very disappointing unit. We stayed in a rear 2 bedroom unit. On arrival my 6 year old said that "this is the worst hotel ever". He wasn't far off. As soon as we walked into the unit we were greeted with a terrible musty damp smell that did not leave even when we tried to air out the unit by opening all the windows and doors. Every curtain was mouldy and the ceiling had signs of a leaking roof. The carpet was stained and pulling away from edges leaving exposed tacks. The shower was dirty and mouldy. Some lights and power points not operational. Some of the dishes and cutlery were stained and dirty. Toaster and kettle were greasy on arrival. Very old and tired mismatched furniture. Stains on the bedsheets. Gardens overgrown and parking area unkept. Exposed wiring. Patio dirty and mouldy. No excuses for such a poor attempt at accommodation. Very misleading on website.

Beware, this place is not as it appears on booking websites. It is well well overpriced for what it is. Old dirty and smelly. We got a 2 bedroom family room which had ripped carpet and furniture, mouldy curtains, smelly blankets, there were spiders and spider webs everywhere. We did not want to spend any time in the room and even walked across to the beach to eat our meals as there was no dining table and the balcony was dirty and furniture falling apart. If this place had of been quarter of the price it would have been ok but you can't charge $260/night for a place in this state. Beware the owner makes you sign a waiver when you check in and there is a good reason for this!

Unit 2 has a Great view with lovely sitting area facing the road looking out onto the beach. Unfortunately that’s it. Room was dated in need of some TLC. No air conditioning. Large fan was provided but didn’t work well. A green exit light shone in the room all night. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Car parking at the rear was tight. Great location, right across from the beach, walking distance into town.

Booked online and paid $185.00 for an overnight stay. The property is untidy and rundown so much so we took the loss and moved elsewhere, a refund was refused. Unit 13 was a disgrace, furniture shabby at best, the shower lining old and damaged. The surrounding 'gardens' were unkempt, the patio unappealing at best. The location is A1 but do not let the online photos take you in. Best avoided.

Had the misfortune to stay here and drew the short straw for Unit 12. It should be closed down! It was damp and musty and freezing cold. Lack of heating, curtains, blinds and lighting. Shower was disgusting. There was no privacy blind in the bathroom and you could see directly into it from the kitchen - totally unacceptable. The owners know about this but have done nothing to rectify it. The light above the vanity unit did not work. There were not enough power points. Shower head kept folding in towards the wall. Was very noisy. The owners obviously don't have any pride or care or take responsibility. Happy to charge expensive rates but not prepared to do any repairs or maintenance. I have emailed them 3 times but never had a response. I would never stay here again.

The back rooms are obviously let on a permanent basis to less than ideal tenants. Room was dirty, holes in walls, heated towel rail broken in two places.
