The motel needs an uplift. Good location but it is generally run down and looks tired. There were holes plastered over but not painted, stains on the carpet and cleaning is not the best. Agree with previous reviews - it is very noisy if you get a downstairs unit. We wouldn't stay here again.
Room #2 ( Downstairs with Ocean Glimpse ) The Motel and Units have seen better days.... long ago. Location is excellent for Beach access however that is about the only positive with staying here. Place looks 'Drab and Dull' especially inside the rooms. Dark, Drab, Dated and Dingy are the best words I can use to describe the rooms. The 'Boy Racers' come out on all surrounding roads after dark, so do not expect to get much sleep - Booming music and Throbbing engines till the wee small hours.... An stay experience leaving one feeling very underwhelmed..... We would NOT stay here again.
I booked this property for me and my grand children on the basis of price & location before reading reviews, which I normally never do. The location is amazing. Out the door, across the road to arguably the safest part of one of the best ocean beaches in the world. So we have paid $186 per night for a 2 bedroom beachfront unit in peak season. The staff were obliging, parking on site, all sky channels, large comfy beds. Yes it was unit 5 with no view from the kitchen but hell , just 20 metres from the beach. Amazing value in my opinion!
We found the room very clean shower pressure amazing bed comfy and staff great would recommend. Fantastic location right across the road from the beach and central to other attractions in the area Great place to stay
This review comes as a challenge to me because I try hard to focus on the positive when I complete a review. Heres my attempt at a positive review for unit 3 .... Large comfortable bed ✔️ Excellent water pressure in the shower ✔️ Sea just visible with the window open and an outstretched neck or when one was positioned in exactly the right place on the (shabby) window seat.
