What a wonderful place to stay when visiting the Cotswolds. Fantasic pub with a welcome as warm as the fireplace inside. Great food and top quality breakfast in the morning with an emphasis on using good quality produce from the selection at breakfast to the hot drinks and biscuits in the room. Deluxe room located over the road in the cottage was cosy, with one of the biggest and most comfortable beds I've ever slept on! Feel completely relaxed after a few nights here, definitely would recomend a stay at the Colesbourne Inn.

Nice quiet rural location. Room nice big size with well equipped hospitality tray lovely sized bathroom with great shower.
Room was part of a converted cottage so away from the main building so was not disturbed by the pub.
Food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast exceptional.
TV signal is poor but you can still get the main channels.

From arrival to departure the service from Mike the Manager and all his Staff was excellent. They are a hardworking friendly team who couldn’t do enough to make sure you enjoyed your stay with them. Our Canadian waitress was an asset to the business friendly, helpful and definitely went the extra mile nothing was to much trouble. The food was excellent nicely presented and piping hot. Nice choice of cask ales all served in prime condition . For breakfast we were greeted by Mike who did an excellent job making sure all his guests were looked after. Our room was spotless. Great toiletries provided and a nice tea/coffee and biscuit tray how nice to have Green tea included. We will definitely be back

Been here a few years ago and loved the experience and the location. Covid safety measures were in place and people were following them. It was a busy lunch service on a Thursday but the staff were helpful. They checked the contents of the salad dressing did not compromise my food intolerances.
The meal was excellent and filling. I had the ham and my husband had the whopping piece of fish. Both of us were pleased and sated!

My wife and I stayed for the Easter weekend as part of a base to visit the Cotswolds. It is in a great location with local footpaths and easy to reach many of the locations best attractions within ~30 mins. The building is a charming pub with cozy rooms. The breakfast choices were good and the food was delicious and filling. We stayed for dinner for two nights and each choice was superb, including sticky toffee pudding and chocolates brownie to die for. One evening we ate in the peaceful gardens surrounded by beautiful birdsongs and a fantastic sunset on the horizon.
Fully recommended and thankyou to the warm and friendly staff.

Having been recommended by several people we were really looking forward to Sunday lunch..
Not a great experience. Prosecco was flat and was told it would it would be the same if we ordered another one. Sourdough toast for chicken liver parfait was only toasted on one side. Roast beef was really tough as for the roast potatoes they were cooked the day before and reheated so were rubbery.
The young waitress was actually good but the older one had quite an attitude. However the pub was very clean.

If you want a good Sunday lunch with friendly and attentive staff would recommend the Falcon Inn, Poulton or The Spotted Cow, Marston Meysey.

Excellent location for anyone looking to visit Gloucester or the wider Cotswold area.
Comfortable room with plenty of space, clean and tidy with a modern bright bathroom.
We stayed in the rooms opposite the pub which means you do not hear any bar or other noise from the main pub, ensuring we had a good nights sleep!
Bar menu was extensive for evening meals and food arrived on time and great quality, staff friendly and not intrusive which is how we like it. Some countryside favourites with some modern takes added to traditional dishes to please everyone. Likewise the breakfast the following morning was well prepared and of good quality.
Reasonable room rate and overall we would return again.

The Colesbourne Inn is very conveniently situated on the A435 between Cirencester and Cheltenham. Rooms are a good size, spotless and well appointed with lots of storage. Breakfast is traditional English with a small cereals and fruit buffet (no continental options). Dinner and lunch are also served. The menus are modern and delicious with the Specials board offering some great choices too. Service is very friendly and genuinely aimed at making sure you're comfortable. Only negatives would be that in very hot weather with the double glazing open you can hear the traffic passing. You also do really need transport to explore the area as most attractions are a drive. An excellent and cost effective place to stay!

Visited for lunch, so this is not a review of the hotel—though as one who lives in the area, I confirm that this is a wonderful location for visiting some of the loveliest parts of the Cotswolds. We had lunch in the beautiful gardens at the back. A really good menu with lots of interesting choices, including half portions of some of the Sunday roasts which is always welcome. The food was excellent, and there's great attention to detail. Service was perfect. We will definitely return.

After having to put up with some one moaning about Brexit before we even got inside was not a good start.

Soapy tasting latte, cold toastie and stale bread with the sandwich was pushing it too.

On the plus side, the young lad that appears to have just started there was very polite.

I am sorry, I do not know why; but guess that it was for commercial reasons. i.e hard to sell the second night on it's own.

Room 9 has a king sized bed and a bit more space in the room. Both the room and the bathroom were very well equipped and very clean.
