Spent 2 nights at this perfect B&B - comfortable rooms and a beautiful garden. Nothing was too much trouble for Shoneen who recommended great places to eat and made the reservations. My husband had pulled his back so Shoneen rang round and arranged a massage appointment for him..... presentation of the breakfast was amazing with a gorgeous fruit selection and she also lent us towels for the beach.
It was these touches that made our stay just perfect and very memorable. I would strongly recommend.

How lucky were we! Amazing find, beautiful B&B in every way. Received a very warm welcome from Shoneen and Gary, accompanied with cocktails and nobbles out on the patio. The house was beautiful with amazing views over Waihi Beach. Nothing was too much trouble. Great recommendations for dinner and even made the booking for us. The room was lovely, with everything we needed. Breakfast out on the patio was beautifully presented and really tasty. Thank you for making it a memorable stay for us both ad good luck with the op!

Finding Tohora View bed and breakfast on TripAdvisor was our good fortune. We needed to stay in Waihi Beach for a family wedding and with the bride to be staying there the night before, our hosts were most accommodating, friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable with a well-provided en suite bathroom. The bed was comfortable and warm.
The views from the deck are amazing and constantly changing and binoculars are available in the lounge for close ups. We loved all the homely touches of interesting decor.
Our hosts provided an ample breakfast of fruit, cereal and toast, much of it homemade. Shoneen enjoys baking and offered plates of cake to go with our tea.
If we go back to Waihi Beach, we will definitely book at Tohora View again.

We had a a birthday party to go to at Waihi Beach and booked a night here.
This was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The bedroom and en suite were clean, spacious and well maintained. The bed was really comfortable. A large communal lounge and decks over looking the sea and township was really tops.
Breakfast on Sunday morning was a real kiwi affair out under an umbrella on the deck. There was a fresh fruit platter followed by a shared six egg omelet and toast and spreads and a very good cup of coffee. The only complaint I had with the omelet was that it was better than any I had ever cooked.
Service was excellent and extended to be given a ride down to our venue. The birthday party was dress up and next day Shoneen provided me with nail polish remover.
If we had to go out to buy breakfast it would probably have set us back $40 - $50.
We would stay here again and already have recommended it to our friends and relations

An excellent choice for a B&B. The hostess is very friendly & gracious. She offered refreshments & snacks upon arrival, gave suggestions for places to eat and directions on areas to go. The room was spacious and clean. The morning breakfast was very good and thoroughly enjoyed on the patio looking out to the beach.

Very helpful and friendly hosts - Shoneen offered to drive us to our chosen restaurants too. A very comfortable room, plus the use of a well equipped guest lounge. A lovely breakfast. Super views over the bay from the decks. What more could you ask for?

We absolutely loved staying at Shonnen and Gary's, they were so helpful, making sure we didn't miss anything and they were so welcoming. Definently a place we would come back to, and a place we would highly recommend to others!

We were given the address of this fabulous B & B by the information centre in Waihi. We hadn't booked anything and what an amazing home.
The view is to die for overlooking Waihi Beach and up and down the coast.
The hosts,Shoneen and Gary were very welcoming providing cocktails and nibbles on arrival.
The rooms are very comfortable with ensuite bathrooms and a communal lounge area. The breakfast is served in the main house and what a breakfast it was.Home made cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, crumpets, juice and tea and coffee. We also enjoyed homemade scones for morning tea.
The towels were changed daily and little home comforts made it very hard to leave.
We were only go to stay one night but ended up staying for 3.
This is one of the very best B & B's that I have stayed in.Highly recommend it
