What a beautiful place! Right across from the beach on a very quiet road. The apartment is so beautifully styled. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, high quality linen, towels and bath ropes. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, you just need to bring the food 🙂 and yes even a coffee machine and Weber bbq. The pool is heated and had salty water which was just fantastic. We were there with 2 months old baby, so we didn’t get a chance to ride the bikes that are available to borrow. The hosts are very welcoming, relaxed and knowledgeable of the area and suggested many places to see around. We will definitely be back

We stayed at Paradise Beach Resort for a quick 3 day break. It was absolutely fabulous. A wonderful location - the beach is right across the road, there are lots of cycleways either right there or nearby so it’s easy to explore the area by bike or by foot, and the accommodation is first class with everything you need and more. There is a lovely swimming pool and hot tub with plenty of room to lounge around outside after an active day. The hosts Peter and Karen are so welcoming and friendly and helpful with fabulous attention to detail - Karen brought us a little cheese and fruit plate when we were relaxing by the pool, for example. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and will certainly be back.

This was our second trip to Waihi Beach Paradise Resort. Peter and Karen have kept up their incredibly high standards. The cottage is immaculately presented, a great selection of teas, coffee and breakfast foods all laid out, and the hosts were super welcoming as always. We loved the spa, nice and warm under the starry sky on our second night.

We liked Waihi Beach Paradise Resort from the moment we checked in. Peter and Karen were very welcoming, and it is clear they have put in a lot to make the house comfortable. The house and outside areas are spotless and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-appointed, the pool and spa are heated, and their knowledge of the region meant a few unexpected extras. Highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back.

From the initial enquiry to end of stay, Peter and Karen were so knowledgeable and hospitable. Peter has a 'bible' of information when you book so it was already half the holiday planning done. They are amazing to chat with and also leave you with lots of privacy if needed. The location is a little further from the Waihi beach shops/cafes but Peter will offer a drop off/pick up service - just out of their kindness!
Thanks again for an excellent stay as with all the lockdowns/shutdowns it was so nice to just forget and relax at their beautiful property.

Really appreciate the little details, such as ensuring towels are regularly replaced, relaxed approach to pool hours, and bikes being available for free.
The cottage has a kitchen and dishwasher, which really assists when hosting. The pool and spa are kept to very cozy temperatures, useful when there is a bit of rain.
Place was tidy and well kept, right by the beach and not too far from amenities. Hosts are lovely and accommodating.

We cannot believe that such an amazing place exists! The property was absolutely stunning and extremely clean.The warm welcome which Peter and Karen provided was the icing on the cake. They made us feel at home and even had a beautiful cheese and strawberry platter for our welcome :) My kids enjoyed the heated pool after spending a couple of hours on the beach. It was a shame that we only booked for a night, but we will surely go back there whenever we go to Waihi. I would recommend a minimum of at least 3 nights there to thoroughly enjoy the resort plus Waihi.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) loved our stay at Waihi Beach Paradise Resort and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were comfortable (master was spacious), kitchen was fully functional - equipped with a Nespresso machine and pods and little goodies like chocolate/fresh fruit/bread greeted us when we arrived. The pool and spa with surrounding deck loungers were super comfy - plenty of shade for those who need it. The location was great - across the beach, and a short run to the shops/supermarket, fish & chips around the corner. It's one of those accommodation that you can stay in all day if you wish, otherwise it's a short distance from plenty of other sites. Peter and Karen are superb hosts. We look forward to returning!

Peter and Karen are fantastic hosts. So welcoming and friendly. The pool is divine, as is the spa. Peter even drove us to Flat White Restaurant and picked us up so we could have a drink without worrying about driving. Nothing too much trouble. Apartment very clean and bed super comfy. I was fortunate to spend a whole week in Waihi Beach and I loved staying in the apartment by Peter and Karen's house. Their attention to detail is impeccable with lots of little extras - including fresh fruit and quality linen! They are working hard to ensure they operate with a light footprint, without compromising on their quality of service. The free use of bikes was an added bonus - there is some lovely easy riding right from the front door, along the coastline. Being located right by the beach made me feel instantly relaxed and I'd love to come again!
