Well, this was hands down one of the best experiences that our family has ever had. It's almost hard to put into words what a special piece of paradise this stay is. From the epic Views, the sunrises/sunsets, private beach with all the fun things to enjoy in your personal bay, a Dream home to stay in that fits our entire family with all the amenities you could need and the icing on the cake the personal care and attention Raewyn and Grant gave to us was above and beyond the standard hospitality. We can't thank you enough for such a dream memory for our Family.

The photos don’t do this place justice. It’s fabulous with a stunning view surrounded by beautiful bush. The hosts are very hospitable and really made us feel welcome. I hope to stay here again in the future. A very special place and perfectly located if you are planning a visit to the Hundertwasser Art Centre.

Our long weekend at Taiharuru Guest House was the most fabulous tonic after a crazy year. The treats in the fridge, the peace, tuis, spectacular views and our own cove, comfy beds .... Plus helpful hosts made this a great few days away. Thank you so much Grant and Raewyn - we will be back!

We had another wonderful family stay at Taiharuru - 3 long years after our last visit. The property is still as wonderfully finished as ever and the location is simply heavenly. We loved exploring the rock pools, snorkelling and kayaking - where else can you have your own private bay and beach? Thank you Raewyn and Grant for another wonderful stay

Nothing short of just beautiful. My husband and I throughly enjoyed this most stunning spot overlooking a private beach where we went to snorkel and kayak. Can be a little rough so take care around the rocks. Home offers everything with a top notch wine cheeses and chocolates complementary on arrival. Most helpful hosts live next door however provide complete privacy. Full kitchen and outdoor bbq for the keen chef. Shop and stop. You won't want to leave that view. This would have to be our best stay ever and not just in New Zealand. Thank you for the opportunity to experience your piece of paradise. Denise and Dale.

We spent three days in this great place. The house is very well maintained, nicely furnished and perfectly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We sat for hours on the terrace and enjoyed this breathtaking view. We can warmly recommend this accommodation.

We stayed at the Guesthouse for 4 nights and loved it! The house was large, well appointed and had stunning views. Raewyn is a fantastic and friendly host. There are two outdoor areas, a big orchard and a private beach (with kayaks and stand up paddleboards provided). Ocean beach is about 15 minutes away, nearest coffee place and Four Square was 10 minutes away. Everything was close and comfortable. There was a stable on the way to the shop with 4 miniature horses that were so cute and we'd stop to say hello to everyday. The kitchen was large and Raewyn had left lots of goodies in the fridge for us. The bedrooms are also large and there were views from all rooms. A fantastic stay - we plan to come back for sure!

This house is amazing! The views from every window and deck are spectacular! The house is beautifully decorated and very clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything you would need. This is the perfect place to relax and appreciate the surrounding beauty. The private beach is lovely for kayaking and relaxing. The surrounding walks on the property lead to amazing vistas. It is truly a special accommodation with lovely and kind hosts. And the stars at night and all the birds are spectacular. It is a very special place that will remain with you as lasting memories. Thank you for the pleasure of staying in your beautiful home!

After 5 weeks of travelling through New Zealand we were so lucky to spend our final four nights in The Guesthouse. Couldn’t be better! What a fantastic house, spectacular views and lovely hosts. We really enjoyed staying there, a place that comes close to paradise. If you have the chance to go there we strongly recommend you to book The Guesthouse!
