My wife & I stopped here on our way down to the Costa del Sol in Spain by car. The owners, Veronique and Olivier were lovely and made us most welcome. Olivier directed us to a nearby restaurant for an evening meal as they only had a limited selection for us. The property is a mixture of beautifully done out rooms all slightly different. There is a large lounge on entry and a dining room. In summer (we were there in early January) there is a lovely garden and swimming pool with outdoor tables & chairs. We would call in again if we were passing!

Villa Corterra is a wonderful property for any visitor to the Bordeaux wine region. We had a truly wonderful 2 night stay. Veronique and Olivier were wonderful hosts who provided a wealth of information on the region and prepared a fabulous breakfast for us each day. I can provide the strongest recommendation for a property that puts you right in the middle of fabulous wine.

A real pleasure to have you at home. Good luck and maybe a next getaway in the Sauternes.

Thoroughly recommend Villa Corterra. Warm hospitality in a sensitively restored house, with a gorgeous pool all made for a great stay. Try Veronique's home cooking for a truly authentic experience. Just one little niggle: make sure you don't end up on a sofa bed if booking the family room.

Thank you for this very nice comment. It was a treat to have you at home. Sure enough the sofa bed is intended for children. Your request to put the big bed in single beds for the children might not be the best choice. So next time I would recommend the bed to 160. See you soon

We only spent one night at Villa Corterra but can't wait to return. Veronique and Olivier were the perfect hosts and made my husband and I, together with my son and daughter-in-law feel most welcome. Not forgetting Sam and Jenny's dog Olli! We enjoyed a delicious meal, sampled fine wine and had a great time. The fact that our hosts had dinner with us too was an added bonus. Thank you and we are already looking forward to a return visit.
