I recently stayed at Lodge 9 and it was a truly delightful beachside boutique experience. Tucked away off the busy strip, but close to four restaurants and just across the street from the port made it a perfect location for my diving trip. The room was tastefully decorated, offering a blend of comfort and coastal elegance. The staff at the dive shop checked me in and she was warm and attentive, making me feel welcome. The best part was the epic breakfast! There was a variety of healthy and delicious options to choose from and enough to fill my tank for the day. Overall, a wonderful stay that combined luxury, tranquility, and the beauty of a coastal escape. Thanks Lodge 9!!

We've been repeat customers of Lodge 9 ever since it first opened. It's a stand-out in Tutukaka for quality and great design. Simply excellent - would highly recommend it. The breakfasts are superb and are made with real care.

Amazing, peaceful place. The facilities are beautiful, products are thoughtful and excellent quality, and breakfast is delicious. A great place to escape and recharge. You don’t have to be a diver to stay here.

The Tui room for 2-nights was great, with a dive trip out to Poor Knights in between. A very comfy bed, well appointed room and fabulous breakfast spread. Friendly people, both staff and guests. And really good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended

Such beautiful lodging steps from the Marina. It has everything. Rooms are spacious and an appointed, each with its own private tap to spring water. Provided breakfast is fresh and delicious with lots of healthy choices. Common areas are comfortable and inviting. I took pictures of everything! The courtyard has comfortable shaded and sunny sections and a sauna and salt water pool. In the rustic surroundings of a small New Zealand village but all of the modern touches are there. Everything really was chosen with love to outfit this place. The owner Kate is wonderful. I cannot recommend It enough.

Hotel Lodge9 is really a very charming hotel . Perfect. The site is also impressive and close to several good aptos. The Dive Tutukaka is very professional, while friendly and we feel completely safe. They are very well equiped. Tks to Kate and all the Staff.

Lush - Lush - Lush Lodge 9 is my favourite place to stay in Aotearoa. The details are amazing, full of style , the artwork all around and every detail from the soaps on the bathroom to the generous breakfast spread that miraculously appears each morning this place is special. But most of all Lodge 9 is about manakitanga and the staff make guests feel extra special.

Our law firm had a very successful business retreat at Lodge 9. The accommodation was superb and the meeting space in the nearby Shed 7 worked well for the business part of our stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the care we received from Kate at Lodge 9 was faultless. Nothing was a problem. Our team left feeling relaxed and energized. We will definitely be back.

Lodge 9 was the perfect location for friends & family attending an event at Shed 7. We could accommodate older family members, little ones & those who wanted to party. Everything was immaculate. It felt special & yet so comfortable like you were at home. We are going back!
