Great hotel! Gorgeous sea view. Comfortable bed. Liked the robes. Dinner and breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere, all very tasty. At dinner, the boys sang superbly with the guitar, it's very atmospheric! Will definitely come back here again! It was the best vacation.

We stay here regularly ahead of an annual hospital visit - just 200m away. We always choose a sea view room, which is well appointed and clean with a comfortable bed. Japanese toilet and essential toiletries supplied in the bathroom. Decent Japanese restaurant and other food choices within easy walking distance and a Family Mart across the road. Reception staff not particularly welcoming and be prepared to pay a 500THB key deposit. The breakfast was extremely disappointing from a Westerner’s point of view. Very limited choice. They cooked an omelette for me, but it was tiny. Otherwise frankfurter sausages, fried egg and toast were all that was available. Oh for some bacon! There was also fruit, left open for the flies to enjoy and a selection of Asian dishes. Coffee pot was not replenished. Breakfast is supposed to be available until 1000, but if you arrive after 0900, forget it. An acceptable hotel, but we only use it because of proximity to hospital.

The rooms are large, the bed was very comfortable. The balconies overlooked the sea. Obviously this hotel caters for Japanese tourists, even have Japanese toilets. There is a nice pool area. Although this is not a typical tourist area the hotel was good. There is a family mart across from the hotel main entrance. Also a nice little park right next to the hotel. If I was ever in this area again I would revisit here. The only really bad negative was the reception staff who were rude and did not seem to know what they were doing.

Room # 305 Deluxe Sea view Room ( 1st ever stay here ) Room was well equipped, good mattress on bed and great OK TV channels. Free WiFi was very bad - stop start plus Connect and Disconnects!!! :( :( Buffet Breakfast was great - good selection, Eggs cooked you way plus 5 or 6 Thai food choices, plus Salad Bar, Fresh Fruit, Juice, Tea & Coffee & Toast. Staff were all really helpful. We really appreciated the early Check In :) The only negatives were the terrible Wifi ( in room # 305 ) and the state of the common areas - Peeling \ Chaffed wallpaper in corridor and lifts - looking ugly now.... We would return here again for a relaxing stay. We ate dinner at "Mum Aroy" ( turn left walk for 3 minutes opposite hospital ) - Great Fresh Seafood at every day prices - excellent :)

Small rooms you need to book the rooms at the back over looking the sea. Staff are shy but friendly. Decent breakfast and dinner menu. Very handy for the ferry to Ko Sichang 50bht each way. Massive Japanese influence about the town ( can anyone enlighten me on this ? )

The Loft Seaside hotel is, as the name suggests, on a pier directly overlooking the beach. There are several restaurants around and a short boardwalk for guests to enjoy. My room had a balcony too, right over the water. The two girls at reception were helpful and check-in was efficient. As usual I had prepaid, which eliminates any surprises on arrival at a particular property. It was a good thing I did as I was asked for a THB 500.00 room key deposit and then discovered that the hotel does not accept credit or debit cards, only cash! Wow! It is backward in this day and age not to accept credit cards. Foreign guests do not always have local currency on hand. The hotel seems to accommodate quite a few young people, which means that it is vibrant. A nice touch would have been to activate the air-conditioner before I checked in as the room was like a sauna and it took quite a while for the temperature to drop sufficiently to be comfortable. I found the room rather dark. This was in part due to insufficient lights and partly because one ceiling light did not work. However, the room as clean and there were enough towels provided, so that is most important. The toilet had a Japanese-style electronic bidet which sprays, warms and does all manner of pleasurable things. Actually, I heard a lot of Japanese language spoken and there is a Japanese college next door, so there is clearly an influence. A small fridge in the room contained four complimentary bottles of mineral water, which is a pleasant touch, especially in such a hot and humid environment. What would have been nice too, is a box of tissues. None were supplied. There is free unsecure internet in the room, but speedy it is not. It can take up to 5-minutes to open a single e-mail. Pathetic! To make matters worse, it kept stopping altogether and would take up to 20-minutes to come back again, but never at a faster speed. Frustrating! I would rather pay and get a service that I can use. I arrived late at night, so did not drag myself out of bed early enough for breakfast (05.30 to 10.00 hrs) and was glad to note that checkout was not until 12.00 hrs.

I was thinking long what I'd tell you about this hotel. So much potential but something did not work. I'll start with the negative ones. Communicating with staff is sometimes difficult because of their weak English skills. ( most did not speak ). Tip..The whole staff for the English course to learn the basics.. The floor slips away from their surface,in the corridors really hot and WIFI worked badly, sometimes not at all. The hotel was no fittness room even though I read it for some. There does not have the actual beach, I mean the sandy beach but nice sea view. (just for information). And things that were good and works. Room was modern, clean and comfortable.... (like the whole hotel). Bed wide and good. Balcony with sea view....Nice. The hotel was peaceful and relaxed. On the other side of the road is family mart and short walking distance is fine park. Breakfast totaly ok and thai style. Pool area ok but I was surprised a few sun loungers and there were no shadows. Restaurant clean and good options and staff was very sunny and friendly. (genuine smile). Weekend was on program untill 23.00 singing duo, karaoke ext. We heard a live performance from our balcony...Cool. Staff was friendly, kind and helpful....Thanks for trying even problems with the language. Special thanks to the cleaners. My own estimation 3,5. Totally we were happy to choose this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel as it was most convenient hotel for the hospital. Price we paid for a standard room seemed a little steep for what it was. T.v had a few issues keep turning off and on again. Corridors were a bit dark and could have done with a bit more light. Staff friendly enough. Swimming was small although i did not use it. Breakfast buffet was quite standard but ok for what we wanted. Not much around the area but less than a minute walk to the hospital which is what we wanted. Bar area is a nice place to sit for the sunset around 17:45-18:15

I like that it is not far from a public park where you can go to stroll and enjoy the sea breezes. There is a Family Mart across the road for all your needs such as beer. The breakfast was very pleasant
