Rusty water was coming out of the taps including the shower-YUK. Most sites were un usable due to them being to wet and waterlogged, even the dining room was flooded and the facilities looked old, tired and in some areas rotten. Friends in one of the cabins complained they were cold as the heating was insufficient & the noise from the people in the cabin next to them could be heard all night. Sorry but we won't be back again.

We booked one of the 4 pet friendly powered sites as it was our first time camping with our large dog. The designated area is fantastic! Loads of room (great if you have a larger dog) and with the river just a short 4 minute walk away it's perfect for water crazy pooches! We were fully self contained, however the amenities were always clean and well looked after and the owners super friendly and helpful. Great location close to some awesome bush/forest walks as well.

We were a big group that stayed over Easter. The owners were super friendly, made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way. The facilities were always clean and tidy. It’s a beautiful setting with lots of walks and nature scenes. Highly recommended.

This was a well cared for and well run holiday park in a beautiful part of Canterbury. Everything was clean and well maintained. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Close to Ashley Gorge (which is awesome for children) and many great walks near by.

I booked the pod, it sleeps 2. It's tucked away in trees, super cute and hidden. The river was amazing we swam up until the sun went down, we walked the track nearby. Great facilities. We are planning to head back with a bigger group next time.

Such a lot to love about this place,Green grass, gorgeous leafy trees, colorful toilet doors, hot water in the shower and flowers in the kitchen.Oh and the herbs in the garden. The chives on my scrambled eggs were perfect. Had friends up for a day and they loved it too. Such a super spot w,so many shades of green to see where ever you looked. Did think a little pricey,$44 a night including token for showers. How about a discount for MCANZ members.? The Sandhills are a little annoying although when walking the bush walk and moving they didn't seem so bad. It is a it of a pain to find one in my wine glass!!. Shame we didn't catch any fish but it was fun trying. Thanks again for a great few days. Regards Vicki and Bill

Hi Vicki & Bill & thank you for your review. We agree, this time of year is certainly beautiful and I am glad you made use of our salad gardens. Sandflys certainly enjoy being out in this current humid cloudy weather & nothing worse than one floating in your wineglass :) . We hope to see you again soon. Cheers Sally & Wayne

My wife and l spent 2 nights over Labour weekend in our caravan at this site. From the time that we made our booking to the time we departed on our last day we found the staff welcoming and very friendly. They always gave us a wave when ever we saw them. Our powered site was large compared to some camps we have stayed at. The facilities are well maintained and clean. We had a great stay there and will return.

My partner and I stayed here for a night and it blew us away. Easily the most beautiful, well equipped camping spot I have ever laid eyes on. Hosts were super friendly and we didn't get attacked by a possum. We're coming back.

Thank you so much Louis! So glad to hear the possum wasn't partying on the roof of the Pod that night. See you soon :)

Crap stay! Have to pay for WiFi, visits and to top that off the owners are horrible ! So rude! Never going back there! The prices are definitely not worth it and the river isn’t deep and is very cold! Worst stay of my life!

Hi Belle Firstly it's autumn so please forgive us if you found the river too cold and if you had bothered to look there are plenty of beautiful deep swimming holes including one right opposite the playground. In fact rating us on the temperature of the river is quite ridiculous & I am sure shows the readers the validity of your review. We will always grant a late checkout if not too busy but you never asked for one. Check out is 11am and although we reminded you of this at 12.45pm you were still on site supposedly not enjoying yourself until 6.30pm. Free wifi is certainly available but not to guests who should have checked out 6 hours earlier. Frankly we have never encountered such a disrespectful group.

We came here for our first trip with our caravan. Lovely spot with trees, grass sites and river close by. Lots of things for kids to do. Bush walks. Good facilities, but you need to purchase coins for the showers from the camp office. Will be back with family.
