Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent! Delicious! Welcoming! Can't say enough good things about this place (and thought twice before writing review to keep it a locals-only secret). Took cooking class at local castle with Manolo last year and finally came for dinner with friends and stayed overnight (comfy, immaculate room blending modern with historical architecture accents and best hotel bathrooms in Italy). Amazing view from dinner, had to eat every course as too tempting to limit oneself. Next morning yummy sunny breakfast overlooking vines and walked through hazelnut orchards and vineyards up to castle. They even arrange e-bikes to visit nearby winetowns on surrounding hilltops. Already have 2 reservations to return.

A wonderful place on a hill in the middle of the beautiful vineyards of the Langhe. Very elegant, attentive and prepared staff. Dishes so well done that it is unfortunate to touch them, demonstrating the care and mastery with which they are prepared. Highly recommended egg.

Spectacular place in the midst of vineyards and hazelnut groves, with a beautifully maintained swimming pool, ultra-equipped rooms, very clean and beautiful, truly a pampering for the mind and heart.
The staff is very courteous, available and truly prepared.
A special praise for the restaurant, truly tasty dishes prepared with taste and passion, with artistic plating. The quality is superlative, the wine list is truly rich and the staff here too is very knowledgeable and courteous. No flaws, I highly recommend it, both the stay and the restaurant

The place is very nice and quality food but unfortunately remains a very touristy place. For example, we were at the table in 5 of Italian nationality and the waiter who took the order of drinks, spoke exclusively English... bah!
In addition, the cost of the individual dishes is definitely above average: for example, the desserts (apart from the sorbets) cost about 12 euros... the restaurant charges 4 euros of blanket, which in places like these, is now obsolete or square meters in disuse.
In addition, at the end of the meal we were offered a "Welcome Gift": if we return in 4, we will be offered a dish or other...
In short, it deserves for the food and the place but these details leave something to be desired.

Really gorgeous place. Situated on a hill that offers a spectacular view of the vineyard below and the villages of the area, the hotel stands out for its modern structure, for its cleanliness, the great organization of the staff and for the courtesy and helpfulness of Rossano. Rooms equipped with every comfort (we also had a kettle for our infusions), spacious and extremely clean.
In short, a place we will definitely return to

After several attempts we finally managed to have dinner at the restaurant Il Vigneto.
Impeccable service, very good food ; noteworthy is the kindness of the kitchen staff who, despite Saturdays and Sundays, could choose between two set menus, met the request to taste the scampi breaded in hazelnut grains : delicious !
Absolutely advantageous value for money
Absolutely to try
Highly recommended!!!

I think that when you go out to eat, you enjoy finding a nice, welcoming place, good food and cheerful people who make you feel as if you've known each other your whole life.
Well today 2/06/2024 it was just like that!!
I booked for a family lunch with the opportunity to announce the pregnancy to our parents.
I gave specific instructions to the girl who welcomed us (who I also regret not having asked her name because she was special) to bring the package at a certain moment during the meal.
Before sitting at the table, given our advance notice, they made us sit outside with a glass of wine to enjoy.
At the time of the gastronomic journey... because that's how it was, the waiter Alberto served us.
A boy who immediately showed himself to be attentive to detail and with a kind, witty and cheerful demeanor! Truly congratulations!!
But they also go to the manager, a gentleman who was attentive to my requests and allergies.
Talking about the food... well space, fish prawn appetizers (I recommend you take at least 6😂), knife steak, salmon, meringue egg...
Followed by those with the first course and those with the second course we had: cream of potatoes with cuttlefish ink and octopus, tagliolini, pasta with mussels and asparagus.
The dessert, which ended with tears of joy at the news, with Tortona warm chocolate and caramel heart and eggnog.
What to say... well if you want to have lunch or dinner and feel welcomed at home, come to them.
Our first time is definitely not the last time!
Congratulations again.

Went on Easter Monday, how wonderful. Happy to have discovered it, I can't wait to go back also to try the rooms. Beautiful, welcoming restaurant, with a breathtaking view, there were 9 of us, not even a few, and they served us with such attention and quality. There is no point in talking about the dishes because they were delicious from start to finish, including dessert. Small mention of the meringue egg, wonderful, then fillet with egg on top, octopus with squid ink, delicious desserts to finish on a high note. Nothing to say, it was a magnificent day, they absolutely deserve the maximum score, they made a day of celebration pleasant for us, they know how to do their job very well. We thank you, we will see you again very soon. You were kind and welcomed us like home. Thanks thanks thanks.

Suggestive location with a wide view of the hills and Monviso. Attentive and professional staff. 3 tastings of appetizers. Piece of raw meat on a base of bagna cauda thickened with cream and lime, fantastic with 3 distinct flavors that blend in the mouth. Piedmontese Giardiniera and goat's cheese basket with very good hazelnut grains. Then very fresh fassone steak but unfortunately without garlic and veal with tuna sauce which was a bit risky in my opinion. Potato gnocchi with quail eggs inside. Here's a note. The potato tends not to cool quickly so the egg cooks over time and we end up with the first perfect dumpling while the last one has a hard-boiled egg. I recommend using 3 gnocchi at most. However, I think it's an innovative dish but it needs to be perfected. Wild thyme placed on a dumpling is intense. Perfect small strawberries clearly from the territory. Well done with plenty of room for improvement!!

Beautiful location, polite and professional staff...but I should make a note on the menu: their vitello tonnato is not the classic...they put a raw tuna fillet inside the veal rump. This is an insult to Piedmontese cuisine. We want to propose new things, but don't call it vitello tonnato because it isn't...even the desserts didn't excite me, there are much better ones! I tried it but I don't think I'll go back
