Very clean rooms, they even provided anti-mosquito apparel,very nice personnel, all time alert to help. The beach is near, with umbrellas and chaise-longues, very clean sand with a nearby bar and tapas restaurant. The local restaurant had fresh fish every day, fresh squids, food for every taste. The team of akti Retzika is beyond friendly and caretaking. I haven’t seen a single staff member not smiling or not being helpful. You feel very welcome from the moment you check in, so the switch to holiday mode is instant. Besides that, the whole area is very green oasis. So much, that you can see and feel how much they care about the environment you will be surrounded by.
The food through out the menu (especially the sea food) is very delicious, the wine range is also nice. Having dinner next to the sea during sunset is really pure joy.
There are options of doing yoga classes in an extra small yoga tower with sea view (highly recommend)
There are too many things to not forget a few. Short say - book it - feel it - taste it - you won’t be disappointed.

So friendly at check in and the reception staff spoke English which was a bonus. I got a great tent site absolutely perfect amenities were great. Restaurant food was really godly amd you got a small discount for staying in the park that sits directly across from the beach

I will try to make a review of the campsite as fair as possible. The campsite is located in the Epanomi area, close to Thessaloniki. The area is quite flat, generally with farms and small towns, not too many trees. The roads are pretty bad, like everywhere else in Greece. The campsite also has a hotel, and some very nice bungalows. The camping site has quite large individual places, but unfortunately with a sandy/muddy ground and everything fills with dust. The grass is long gone. Two bathrooms at the two ends of the campground, each with 3 showers and 3 toilet cubicles. A woman always cleans them. Outside, two places where you can wash the dishes and two for washing clothes. One problem is that they put the sinks with the mirrors inside where the toilet cubicles are and it doesn't really suit you to brush your teeth or shave and people are doing their things a meter away, with loud noises. At the exit from the camp, you cross the dusty and potholed road and reach the beach. The beach is ordinary, with fine sand, it has sunbeds and umbrellas that are free with something ordered from the beach bar, but no one forces you to order. The beach bar is very ok and the staff is helpful and kind. The sea is not deep but not very nice colour, you walk about 50 meters with water up to your waist. A good beach and sea for children. There was also an ok bar and a restaurant that doesn't have a great selection of food, but the prices are a bit steep, considering that there is nothing around for a few kilometers. 7 Km away there is a Lidl and on the way to the campsite there are several stalls with fresh and very good fruit and vegetables at a low price. As a conclusion, the campsite is ok for someone with children on a low budget. The camping price was €30 for 2 people and €40 for 3 people. Out of 5 stars I give it two, but this is my personal opinion. The staff works very hard, they are very kind, except for one lady who says she is the owner, but it seems she is only the manager. This lady wanted me to pay 5€ a day to park an inflatable boat in my camping spot. In the end, she stopped charging me, but she speaks badly to the customers and was rude to me a couple of times. I will not go there anymore. I've seen some very nice camp sites in Sithonia I want to try next.

My family and I are visiting Akti Retzika for the sixth year in a row. Every year there are improvements to the campground. It is very green, shady, well maintained, and the common areas are extremely clean. The food in the restaurant is always fresh and delicious. The staff is very smiley, helpful and pleasant. They were always responsive to our needs. The beach in front of the campsite is sandy and very suitable for children because it is shallow. We highly recommend the place. 💙

We stayed at the campsite and were really pleased with our stay. The camping is a small oasis - clean and green with shadow camp pitches. Perfect for families and children. The people were nice and welcoming.
The restaurant serves very delicious food, some of it is a bit overpriced and it would be great if there was a small grocery shop nearby.
Anyways, we loved everything there and we will come back for sure.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my recent Retzika stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed and made me feel like a valued guest. You have taverna at place with delicious food on reasonable price. The nature in the area is very beautiful and clear. There is very long beach with fine sand. Most of the beach is free area, but there are several beach bars as well, so everyone could decide how to spent its time. During the weekends the beach is pretty overloaded, but during the week it is quiet enough. The Akti Retzika camping is very well designed and wonderfully held. The options that you have for accommodation with 2 children are indeed either the apartment or the camping (if you are traveling with your own camping equipment).
The price for the apartment per night is 65 euros for double occupancy (any additional child 0-5 years old: no charge, 5-12 years old: 5 euros per night, any person older than 12 years: 10 euros per night).
Please note that Akti Retzika accommodation is located just 50 meters from the beach.
The beach of Potamos is a lengthy sandy beach, ideal for children.
Being the best beach to visit close to Thessaloniki, means that it is getting quite busy especially during weekends but it is so long that it may accommodate all visitors in the best possible way.
In our camping there are mostly families spending their holidays in Green surroundings.
In reply to your question on food, please note that Akti Retzika's "food philosophy" is focused on providing healthy options, using fresh ingredients from local producers. We aim to offer the opportunity to our guests to explore Greek flavours, while meeting local tradition and hospitality.
This is an option during your breakfast or any other meal.
