Detailed Reviews
The hotel was our second spot in Puerto Fuy, we stayed only a night after having stayed at Club Huillin next door. This hotel was clean and cosy, the rooms were well maintained/cleaned and confortable enough. I found the room small, although we had a large balcony (facing the volcano). I also found the noise coming from the upper level somewhat interfered with a good nights sleep. this is mostly due to the hotel being built from wood (really nice, quite noisy). The location was quite good - on the lake in puerto fuy a short walk away from the ferry that will take you over to Argentina (quite cheap too). Service from the team was fantastic, a great breakfast on hand every morning.

Marina del Fuy was like being home away from home. It was comfortable with a relaxed ambience. Friendly and attentive staff. Very clean and the food was delicious. Raul at the front desk was exceptional. Very professional, friendly and resourceful. We would love to return and will definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

We were waiting for the ferry to Argentina when we got the coffee craze. Well the little roadside stand did not have real coffee so we got in the car only to go a hundred feet past a modest cedar shingled building with the sign "Hotel Marina del Fuy". What a surprise met us as we entered the lobby. The lounge was filled with large leather sofas, antique furniture and amazing light fixtures. Yes we got our coffees and tiramisu on the deck overlooking the swimming pool. Too bad we couldn't stay for a night. We had reservations on the ferry.

Located on the shore of Lake Pirihueico, this is a charming boutique hotel - cozy rooms, and lovely spaces both indoors and outdoors for relaxing. Service at the Front Desk was prompt and friendly, and the 3 meals we had in the dining room were delicious and served by very attentive staff who did their best to accommodate our large group.

This is an amazing hotel. Situated on the lake shore with a pool and its own jetty it is built in a very rustic style (maybe a bit too rustic in places). It also has a marvellous "fine dining" restaurant where the chef is really showing off his skills. In terms of all round enjoyment this was our favourite hotel in Chile, and certainly the most sophisticated restaurant which we tried. The breakfasts were good. The wifi reception is rubbish - even sitting down in reception it was really patchy. The hotel organises lots of activities - we hired kayaks on the lake. There is a small pool which didn't look that clean. There is nothing to do in Puerto Fuy apart from watching the lake ferry arrive and depart, but it is perfect for a day or two chilling out. Huilo Huilo Falls are a few miles up the road. To reach the hotel is it necessary to drive on a (fairly good) unsealed road for about 20 km.

The whole experience has so far been extremely disappointing. Chile in general lacks good sevice but puerto fuy marina has so far lacked much more. The food was very poor, we had to wait at least an hour for a diet coke in an empty dinning room. When we arrived the soaps in our bathrooms had been opened and used. We are still here and I have a feeling I will also be listening to everyone else outside as the walls are paper thin....I do not recommend.

Lovely place, attention is very good and the food at the restaurant was very very good. We were here to visit huillo huillo and chose to stay in this place before Notufagus. The hotel is rustic style but all very harmonic, very confortable. Internet is poor and it is true that. The ferry that runs 3 times a day can make a bit of noise but it didn't bother us

Huilo Huilo is a great place to visit if you are looking for nature and relax. The reservoir has great hiking trails, cascades, animals, a river and a beautiful lake.
If you stay either at the Hotel Marina Del Fuy or the cabins you can access all the trails with no extra charge.
The cabins overlook either the river or the lake and they are very well equipped! It is a great place to stay with family or friends.

+1
Great breakfast, nicely appointed rooms and a beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful most of the time. Here is a funny story from our three day stay. I was sitting by the pool and asked the waitress for a beer (in limited Spanish) and she replied with a very long and serious reply that basically said ‘no’ but I had no idea what she said. She had just delivered beers to another table so maybe she was tired - it shall remain a mystery. I guess my Spanish should be better 😀. Despite that funny little interaction that hotel is fantastic and you should stay there.

We spent three nights here and loved it. Hotel is very interesting and unique in its decor, food is excellent, staff are friendly and provide great service. We speak limited Spanish so had to limp along most days but on our last day a manager with more English skills showed up which was helpful, although we would have been okay without. We walked to the main Huilo-Huilo preserve each day which took us about 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend it.

We traveled there by local bus and walked to get to various local sites, including the preserve without any problem.
suerte
