This family owned and operated property is located just above the most beautiful water view. They offer breakfast with this every morning, and cocktails every evening with the same beautiful view. A short walk down the block, the the small marina stores and restaurants. Also a path to the beach just out the other direction. So relaxing. And the family can’t do enough to make certain you’re having a great stay. Loved my visit in Croatia. Thank you. 🌿

This hotel has the most excellent view when eating breakfast! At the rooftop you can calmly sit and eat fresh bagels from the local bakery with a tasty cup of coffee from the buffet.daytrip by boat to Dubrovnik! The family who runs this hotel is always humble and hospitable and take good care of you. Its easy to spend a week here because you just have to choose between cool off in the beautiful pool or the sea, a stones throw away. The rest you can leave to Mladen (the manager), he will find you the best restaurants in Stobrec, if you dont want to go in to Split. If you do, Mladen can tell you what to see and where to eat! When you come back in the early evening, dont miss the rooftop view... The manager is always close at hand if you need to spicen up your vacation: zipline, hiking or a If you come to visit Split or Stobrec, dont miss this family-hotel. Enjoy your stay!

We booked 3 nights in a basic studio apartment at a high price that we thought reflected 4* standards, the coastal aspect and a position relatively close to Split. In the event the apartment we were offered was so claustrophobic with no eye level windows or external balcony/patio space whatsoever, that we felt obliged to take up the offer of an upgrade to a slightly larger unit with a balcony and sea view at a total extra cost of over 100 euros. The upgraded apartment was comfortable, especially the beds, but, strangely, the kitchen area was without a draining board, microwave, toaster or even a kettle (luckily we had packed a travel kettle and hadn't planned to self cater lunch or our evening meal). Breakfast was taken on a superb upper terrace with spectacular views over the Adriatic. Unfortunately however the breakfast on offer was very basic with scrambled eggs being the only cooked food option and, again, no toaster available? Finally, an unpleasant surprise (in clear contradiction of the Booking.com written confirmation) saw us faced with a demand for well over 3,000 kuna in cash payment rather than being able to use our Mastercard. We therefore, completely unexpectedly, had to withdraw cash on the credit card from an atm at a premium rate of interest. Bizarrely, coffee bars down the road, the small local supermarket and all the local restaurants were happy to take a credit card but not a 4* hotel?? And why do they not advise people with bookings that they will insist upon cash payment before they arrive - they admitted to being well aware that Booking.com clients in particular are advised otherwise? Finally, the apartments are keen to advertise their Split address whereas they are actually located about 6 miles from the centre in the outer suburb of Strobrec and even by taxi it takes at least 20 minutes to get there. On the positive side the owners were very friendly and the accommodation attractive and generally clean. A very pleasant poolside area and adjacent (unserviced) beach add to the attraction, if of course the weather behaves itself.
