Staff are friendly, especially our butler Soukina she was proactive and went more and beyond, kids club staff and facilities were excellent. Restaurant are very good and food was nice too. Jumeirah Maldives really takes are of you and personalize the experience. Very nice gesture by arranging our wedding anniversary and provided us return seaplane upgrade to Male Airport. Everything was really good. Definitely recommending this resort to our friends and family.

My husband surprised me with an epic trip to the Maldives and chose Lux North Male. It was beyond anything we had experienced even at the most luxurious hotels of the world. The setting of course makes it heaven on earth but the service makes it the most memorable vacation ever. Our host Athee made sure our stay was perfect in every way. Jamil offered my teenage boys coffee and milk shake lessons which they loved and always checked on us while we ate. Jovani and his staff at Glow (which was our favorite restaurant- lovely breakfast with my fav tropical fruit and great mouth-watering dinner entrees) always made it welcoming and they had decorated the table so creatively for my birthday. In fact the entire resort staff wished me on my birthday everywhere I went (they all knew!). For the birthday dinner the musicians sang my favorite songs and Hindi songs too and invited me to sing with them which I sheepishly did, as my family around the world watched on zoom (it just so happened to be during our scheduled zoom birthday call). Andy is a musician and artist and made a personalized painting just for me, with my name on the painting! I was so touched. Even the spa room floor was decorated on my birthday and so was my bed and the bathtub (on more than one occasion) and they even made me a special cake for me. Diyan and Avi gave my husband and me amazing massages and Ladda and Chimi gave us luxurious facials. On the night of my birthday at my request they put bedding and pillows on the rooftop because we wanted to sleep under the stars. Our first scuba dive with Roman, Lu and the dive center staff was amazing and they taught us well so we did splendidly and never came up for air during our entire dive, including our 13 year old who usually has ear issues. On our turtle quest we saw 5 turtles and they took us to a second spot because we didn’t see any in the first.

The villas are so spacious. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa, with a spacious living room, extra half bath and plentiful outdoor area and a rooftop. Our villa had a magnificent sunset view and let me tell you, this sunset was akin to the ones in Santorini.

It was a perfect vacation in every single way. Thank you to the entire staff at Lux North. You all are so warm, welcoming and eager to make the guests happy.

Having travelled to the Maldives before we thought we would try a different resort island this time around. We were greeted upon arrival by the GM and introduced to our butler who then showed us to our over water villa. Our butler was missing in action for most of our stay and the simple requests of restaurant reservations were not actioned, so we found ourselves arriving for dinner without a booking. The villa was spacious and mostly private with great sunset views each evening. Breakfasts were great with lots of variety. I’d recommend booking a fully inclusive package as like most resorts in the Maldives it can be very expensive when paying for individual meals. The restaurant offerings and food quality were all good. Only major disappointment during our stay was all the debris from the construction of the resort that had been dumped on the reef edge.

We were looking for a holiday to celebrate my wife’s February birthday and whilst browsing the Maldives on line discovered Lux North Atoll Resort. Well , we certainly were not disappointed . Lux North Atoll Resort is an oasis away from home offering friendly staff, excellent food, luxurious accomodation in a relaxed atmosphere.. The Villas are modern spacious quality design well spaced away from each other (large lounge area, seperate bedroom, massive bathroom, powder room , 3 showers, including 2 outdoors) and all architecturally designed . The resort also has 3 restaurants , coffee shop , ice cream shop ( our favourite, thanks girls) water sports and retail outlets which helps maintain the Village feel within the resort. We have stayed in 6 star resorts many times in Tahiti , Fiji etc.but the service at Lux North Atoll Resort was the best ever! We even enjoyed the speed boat ride to the resort and especially the Birthday cake provided to us upon my Wife’s Birthday. Lux North Atoll is a great place to relax and ponder the world as especially now 6 weeks later we are all in isolation in Queensland, Australia . When the world does recover we will revisit Lux North Atoll Maldives again , this time with our extended family. In the meantime to Manager John, his wife and his wonderful staff , keep up the good work and take care.

This hotel is truly amazing and we recommend this place without hesitation. The staff is incredible friendly and trying to fulfill every wish. Our host, Fahudh, did the best service imaginable and was there for us everytime we needed assistance. We were very happy to have him around. We stayed for 10 days and really enjoyed the fact, that there were not so many guests on the island and everyone kept to themselves. Even in the evening, the three restaurants (we recommend the Inti) were not that crowded. Everyone should go for a private cinema on the roof of the villa. Also, a floating breakfast is a must-do. Especially, the breakfast in the Glow has been our daily highlight. While having this incredible fresh and healthy (if you want to) breakfast you can enjoy an amazing view direct to the crystal clear ocean. After breakfast you should fetch a iced caffe latte at the Cafe Lux and have a walk on the beach. This makes a perfect start of the day. We will come back - because this hotel is beyond compared.

This year in February me and my lovely family was able to have the best holidays ever. From beginning until the end we was more than happy to stay in Lux* North Male. When we arrived at the airport we had a lovely welcome from the airport team and the boat crew. They was so courteous and you felt directly welcomed. The boat trip was the funniest we ever had with a very tasty welcome drink. When we arrived at the Resort our expectations were exceeded. This place is so indecrible beautiful. Directly after we arrived our Island Host Moomin welcomed us. Moomin was the best island host ever! He is such a positive person and made us always laugh. For us it was something very special to have our own island host who is taking care of everything for 24 hours. We never had such a excellent service like this before. My family and me was traveling toegther with our grandma. Moomin made her near to every day cry because she got one surprise after the other. Moomin found out that grandma loves to take a bath and surprised her not only once with the best bubble bath ever. But he made not only grandma every day happy he made also every day something special for us for example he showed us the beautiful underwater world of Maldives and went with us for a snorkeling tour!!! Another wonderful surprise was that he organized a beautiful birthday for my mom. The day we arrived he decorated the room and organized a cake and a bottle of champagne to celebrate with us her birthday! Also I wanna mention that the food in all restaurants is very delicious. Beach rouge was our favorite restaurant. The service in beach rouge was excellent. I wanna highlight here Imad who is managing the restaurant. In the Glow restaurant the service could be a bit faster but the food made the sometimes longer waiting times totally fine. Ralf our waiter was just perfect. In the morning after the second day he already knows our order before we was sitting down. Not to forget the housekeeping team which is making a really good job and also had lots of lovely surprises for us. All in all was our holiday in Lux* North Male more than perfect. Everybody in the resort has always a nice smile for you and is trying to create for you a unforgettable time. For sure my family and me had a unforgettable time and we would love to come back one day!!! Once again a big THANK YOU to the whole team and a special thank you to Moomin our island host. We only can recommend this place and if you even wanna have a more special holiday ask for Moomin as your Island Host :)

I don’t usually write reviews however this hotel deserves it. The hotel is new exceptional service. Our butler Mo was great he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.Could not have asked for a better honeymoon experience. For our private dinner experience we had a lovely time and our chef Imash was excellent and our waiter Max was our photographer as well as we kept asking him to take pictures and he did a superb job. Honestly the staff at this facility always went that extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. I have never had an experience like this. They truly spoilt us. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely and memorable honeymoon!

This is the most fantastic resort that we have ever had the pleasure of visiting, from the moment you land at Male Airport, the attentive professional staff take over and you are whisked away by a luxury yacht that’s fully air conditioned complete with Wifi on the journey to the resort which takes just under a hour, On arrival a wonderful welcoming team are waiting to greet you with local drums and refreshments We were looked after impeccably by our island host Bond, he was attentive and was on hand to assist with booking of activities and restaurants, the resort is spotlessly clean, the over water villa we stayed in was extremely spacious well laid out with premium fittings and a large outdoor pool complete with outdoor seating area The restaurants did not disappoint with constantly high stands of food with quality chefs who clearly take much pride in what they produce, the waiting staff led by Mr Spain 😊 was efficient and friendly and we particularly enjoyed the friendly banter when England where playing In the final of the Euros 2024 Every interaction we had was a positive experience, each and every single member of the resort staff are superstars in our eyes, the housekeeping teams provided a very discreet service to a very high standard, with rooms being cleaned while we were out of the Villa There are so many people that I wish I could name as they have all left a lasting impression for life with so many wonderful memories created, we would like to thank each and everyone of you This has to be the most special resort we have ever had the opportunity to visit, we can not wait to return in the not too distant future The management team led by Mohamed Ashraf should be very proud of what they have created with exceptional staff, modern facilities with spacious rooms and private pools Thank you all for your exceptional service and making us all If you wanting to visit the Maldives the Jumeirah island resort has to be your no choice

Love the Mediterranean look of the villas here. They abandoned the traditional Maldivian thatched roof. Every single villa on this island is a penthouse and look super chic. We had rooftop access and enjoyed staring at stars during the night.
We spent our days soaking in our private pool. Some days were spent snorkeling and diving at extra costs.
Half board is a good option for people who don’t take their breakfast early. We were often too full to take lunch. Breakfast is a sumptuous buffet spread at Glow restaurant. They have ala carte menu and you can pick as many items as you want. We tried their crab cake Benedict, chicken and waffles, shashouka and açai bowl to name a few.
Dinner we have the option to dine at three restaurants. Food was good in all the restaurants. Tasty steaks in rouge, jap/peruvian fare in Inti and international menu in glow.
There’s nightly happy hour at glow bar where we can enjoy a tipple while admiring the lovely sunset.

This is truly a paradise where we will both love to return to!!

Our trip to the Jumeirah resort in the Maldives was great!
The resort is modern and very well taken care of.
The housekeeping was fantastic. Nashid (aka Mbappe) did a great job making sure the rooms were spotless every morning. I was impressed by his attention to detail and the care with which he showed when handling our items.
I recommend the Jumeirah to anyone looking for a quick stay in the Maldives.
