Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.

We stopped here for four nights and was pleasantly surprised by its handy access to restaurants and cafes. Staff very friendly and rooms good value, though on the small side and a bit dated. Has a small kitchenette and the staff let us check in early. Drawbacks were bad

You walk out the door in the morning (yes, down some very steep stairs), and everything you need is within 15 minutes' walking. Really not noisy, despite the popularity of St Denis and the adjacent jazz club. Rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the tiny kitchens are

We spent a long weekend in late August at this hotel (4 nights). The location was great. There are many restaurants close by as well as two metro stops and the weekend market on mont royal ave. The hotel has an arrangement with a local parking lot (cash only) a short walk away,

Dear guest, on behalf of the whole team, we thank you for your comment, and we sincerely apologize for the issues and misunderstanding that occured during your stay as we always try to make our best to make our guests feel welcome. However, two aspects of your review call for some minor clarifications. Regarding the 2 Vs 3 stars rating, we would like to mention that each booking partner, as well as the province of Québec and Canada, has its one rating system, based on various criteria, and on which we do not have any control. This explains why our classification is different depending on the booking plateform. Similarly, the plan and rates we offer also change depending on the booking platform you chose. While Expedia and Booking indeed do not offer this option upon booking, reservations made on our own website (or by phone or email) do include breakfast, unless of course the guest decide to make a "without breakfast" booking. Finally, we certainly agree that our hotel is now showing signs of age, and we are looking forward to the renovation planned this winter, as they will give our Hotel the freshen up it deserves

What are parking options for this hotel?
Hello, A public parking lot is located just a few minutes away from the hotel. The daily rate is 10$, from your arrival at the parking until noon the next day. Ask the receptionist for more information. It will be our pleasure to give you a map with the location of the parking lot. No spot is reserved for the hotel. Considering this is a public parking lot, the hotel declines all responsibilities in case of damage to your vehicle. If you prefer to opt for street parking, be aware that the vast majority of places are paid-parking, every day of the week. The parking meters are located on the sidewalks. Some streets may also have parking areas reserved for residents with a sticker. Be extremely attentive to the traffic signs, which are very numerous in the city of Montreal. These signs determine the parking possibilities and add to the difficulty of finding free spaces. Fines for prohibited or inconvenient parking are between $60 and $100, plus administrative fees.

Yes. Not directly from the rooms themselves but via hallway doors that lead to the balcony areas.

Est-ce qu'il y a du stationnement près?
Un stationnement public se trouve a 5 minutes de marche de l’hôtel au cout de 10$ par nuit. Au plaisir !

Check in is definitely 2pm and I believe check out is noon. Also I'm sure they'll accommodate your luggage in the office.
