Very cool design, good price - location seems a bit out of the mainstrem but infact it's super convenient, parking right in front, walk to transit, plateau, Quartier Spectacle. Cafe Nomad is superb; I stayed for business and used the cafe/gallery as my office to have meetings

All of the positive reviews of Boxotel are justified! We stayed here for 3 nights in October. As others have noted, the room is a "minimalist" environment. The ceiling and floor are concrete, and the room is small and compact. BUT, it is really cool! It has all the

Boxotel was great for us, but may not be for everyone. For us, what it lacks in some traditional services was made up for in its thoughtfully selected and high quality aspects. Location: rue Ontario is a back street that offer few services or shops. It's desolate at night.

are all the bathrooms are see through from the room?!
All of the washrooms are separated by frosted glass for intimacy. So they are not completely private, nor are they completely see-through.

Greetings Sarah, I am very pleased to inform you that the toilet does indeed have handrails, the desk is lowered as well, and for the sink in the kitchenette there is a removable section underneath to facilitate access. The rest of the hotel is accessible as well; the lift goes from the gallery 175B in the basement to the rooftop terrace. I will update the photos of the washroom on the site to give you a better idea :) Hopefully we will be welcoming you next month :) Warm Regards, Madeleine-Elyse Guest Experience
