At the heart of Montréal’s QuartierAt the heart of Montréal’s Quartier des spectacles district, in an inspiring, modern, urban environment, ZERO 1 reinvents with casual chic the concept of the downtown hotel reflected in the design and comfort of its 164 rooms and suites. Cutting edge, relaxing, and close to everything: Zero 1 makes life easier for savvy business travellers and nomadic tourists alike.
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.

We stayed here for a weekend and appreciated the central location in downtown Montreal. Walking distance to all major sights. Convenient to take the bus/train to & from the airport. Room was clean and front staff seemed nice.
I have stayed at this property many times over the last year and, every single time, I have enjoyed it. Very nice rooms, well appointed, functional. The staff is great. The restaurant downstairs serves very good tapas. There is not much to criticize if only...More
A lovely and cosy hotel. The room was adequate for me needs. For its size, there was a double bed, 2 chairs, a small table, 2 side tables next to the bedside, and surprise! A sink and a microwave! That came in handy when i...More
