Romantic weekend on pei book this on another website Expedia for TD I expected more for the price I paid from what I saw on here but the room was subpar it had a kitchenette which had a giant burned ring where somebody put a pot on the countertop which was dated the floor in the kitchen was dated the heating cooling was very dated and I needed instruction to use it. There was a note in the room that said they did extra cleaning for covid-19 yet I used a antibacterial wipe to wipe down the remote switches and handle on the fridge and it was soiled it took four more wipes to wipe down high touch surfaces like countertops I expected with the covered measures that if I were to wipe something like that dirt would not come off. The bathroom had some sort of leak in the ceiling at one time and instead of replacing all the wallpaper they just cut a patch and put it on it the tub didn't drain the toilet didn't flush there was mold in the bathroom the bed was like sleeping in a bowl my back still hurts 2 days later. The breakfast was a bag lunch sort of thing with a tiny amount of food a children's lunch box and orange and a Danish the size of two fingers and a cup of yogurt which was not like you would buy at the store but they actually funneled it into like a dipping container the staff was having a social Convo I waited for them to finish so I could check in not happy also we were in a hotel across the street from the main Hotel so whenever we had a visitor come or order a pizza we had to go downstairs to let them in strange

I was happy that this hotel was animal friendly as we travel with our dog. The beds were cozy, but our room smelled heavily of stale cigarette smoke. We are non smokers, and the bathtub as well as the door handle had mold on it. The shower head had a blue scum layer on it and it was very unpleasant when trying to feel clean. We booked this location because breakfast was included. Due to Covid the breakfast was a small muffin, an orange, and a dipping sauce container that had vanilla yogurt in it at luke warm temperature. We were not full by the time we ate our scraps of breakfast. Your other option bag was an apple, with a non toasted bagel, a pack of cream cheese, and a yogurt in same container. Upon checking out I went to the desk and they were serving customers their breakfast bags with 1 staff member on sight. I waited about 20 minutes for her to finally serve me so I could check out of the hotel, she kept passing me off for other customers. All I wanted to do was check out. Not happy with the locations services. Due to covid-19 our room was not cleaned between days we stayed, which is understandable but the rest was them cheeping out hard.

Our stay was satisfactory. We had a queen suite (with kitchenette) and were located on the 2nd floor above the lobby area. Our room was very clean and quiet (2 night stay).
We had ebikes and although I had sent a message several days prior to our stay asking if they had a secure storage area - no reply was sent. They do NOT have any place to store bikes and it was suggested that we keep them in our room. This involved winding through several narrow hallways to a very small elevator and then again winding through more hallways to get to our room. (Worth the peace of mind as we were told it would not be wise to leave them on our vehicle overnight).
The included breakfast was satisfactory with choices of cereals, breads, muffins and pastries in a comfortable room on the basement floor.
Overall we were pleasantly surprised with our stay - our needs were met and cleanliness and quiet were good. Our room had very good AC built in which was definitely a necessity. The hallways were very hot but our room was a perfect temperature.
Our queen sized bed was very comfortable.
Although the unit was very dated- it was satisfactory to our needs.

Terrible experience.
How can a hotel-conference centre have no maintenance staff available to deal with problems?
Missing a few of life’s luxuries.

When I checked in at 7:30 pm the room temperature was 29 degrees. The gentleman at the front desk informed me that my only option was to open the one window in the room. Taking his suggestion I opened the window. After 4 hours we are now at 27 degrees Celsius. Yippee.
I asked for a fan. No go. He claimed to be the only employee on duty in the entire hotel this evening and couldn’t leave the front desk.
Oh ya.
Most of the wall plugs don’t work, the Kleenex box is empty and there are less than a dozen squares left on my TP roll. The TP roll even had the little fold on it to indicate someone had attended to it and gave it their assurance of quality. I guess I will hold until morning then splurge on the abundance of paper products.

I called to ask some questions about their bookings and how to approach booking a room and the costumer service was terrible and made me decide to not stay with them. As a person that works in the hotel business this is disgraceful and unprofessional. Hopefully they will start to care about people’s questions especially when the someone is trying to stay with them and bring them business.

This property was the worst I’ve ever seen. It’s a construction zone, yellow tape and dumpsters everywhere on one side of the road, and on the convention side one side of the hallway was closed off with orange drop sheets clearly under construction. We were first placed on the convention centre side; walked into our room which had an awful smell. I went back to the main lobby, and the accommodated a room switch to a brighter less smelly room, although there was a window air conditioner which seemed to be battling with the heated vent system. Our door looked like it had been kicked in before, handle was loose, door was loose/didn’t appear to close properly, walls were dented, walls were dirty, there was a half empty bag of chips in the room we later found and a towel under the bed we found in the morning which clearly shows it wasn’t cleaned properly and just felt absolutely disgusting as soon as we entered anyway. I contacted Expedia about the possibility of a refund and they said the room was non-refundable - which of course because it was the same day so why would they give a refund. The room was not a non refundable room when I booked so I only assume it’s bc it was the day of the booking. The pool had a literal brown ring around the whole thing, it was dark and dreary. When we were checking out, a family had the same room we initially had and I overheard them say one of them was sick all night - it’s no wonder.

All I have to say is we had booked two nights and even after they moved us at midnight to a different room on the first night by 9 o’clock the next morning we were packed up and gone. We did have to argue with them to get the money back from our second night and there was no real apology for the first night. We had dropped her stuff in the afternoon and went out for the evening and when we came home we realize there was garbage on the floor from the other guest, the air conditioning didn’t work and all it did was a loud motor blow all night long, our eyes and throat‘s were burning. At midnight they moved us to a new room and it had dead bugs in it. I would never ever stay there again.

Do not book this hotel. We checked in and we're directed to the rooms across the street. We had to take the tunnel through to the other side. The smell of mold, damp, cigarettes and marijuana were strong in the hallways for our entire stay. Our room had a strong chemical smell. We immediately went online to see if we could find somewhere else, but everything was booked solid. Our bathroom looked like it had mold in it and there were stains on the old wallpaper. Our room did not get cleaned and we finally asked why and they told us that service had to be requested. We were not told this when we checked in. The carpet in this place is gross and stained. Our chair had an ugly stain on it as well. Our air conditioner worked, but was very noisy. The dirt in the vents made us want to throw up. The only good thing about this place is the location and it was quiet. They really need to renovate this place or condemn it.

We were camping at the national park for a few days and on the last day of our trip there was torrential downpour and thunderstorm warnings so we decided to pack up and get a hotel in Charlottetown for our final night in PEI. Turns out it would have been better to sleep outside in the pouring rain in our tent than stay at the Charlottetown Inn and Conference Centre.

First off, as soon as you pull up the building looks dilapidated and it’s not much better once you go in. We grabbed our bags and checked in and were told our room was in a building across the street. So, we had to pack everything back in our car in the rain and go across the street. Lots of sketchy people hanging around the building.

As soon as you enter the building it smells like mold and cigarettes with stains everywhere. The room was even worse. There was a window ac unit cranked when we walked in so the room was freezing. The unit didn’t fit in the window fully so the curtains were shoved into the crevices around it to stop rain and bugs from coming into the room.

There were so many stains, mold, ripped wallpaper and handprints all over the walls of our room. I felt dirty just standing in there. I also found a weird blue stain on one of the towels in our bathroom.

I decided to use the gym which is in the main building, so that meant I had to cross the street in the rain to use it. The gym looks like it was nice at one point and just hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. It’s also in the same area as the pool which also looked like no amount of chlorine could clean. The change room/bathroom was nasty. The toilet stalls had weird peep holes so you could look into the stall next to you.

Apparently there is an underground tunnel that connects the buildings but when I asked a staff member if I could use it he said no, no, no.

We decided we really didn’t want to hang around so we went out to dinner and then a pub to kill some time. When we got back to our room shortly after midnight, we found bloodstains on our sheets that were hidden by the pillows. We luckily had 2 beds in our room so I just slept in the other one since it was so late at night.

The next morning we got up early and packed our car. We saw a lady smoking out of a crack pipe in the parking lot which was a fitting conclusion to our stay. I mentioned the blood on our sheets as we checked out and the front staff was helpful and offered a 20% discount on our room. You can tell they are trying to do the best they can and probably have to deal with many similar complaints. However, we also had to talk to the the head of housekeeping and instead of apologizing or being embarrassed about the situation, she gave us attitude and said she had to go check even though I showed pictures of the blood stains.

The only good thing is the location is within walking distance to downtown which is great since you won’t want to spend much time at the hotel.

The hotel is apparently renovating so hopefully they can turn things around and maintain the property better moving forward.

The room was clean, but didn't present well. Could only find one outlet for charging electronics. The wifi would connect sporadically, but not enough to be useful. When I took my issue to the front desk they had the Maintenance person come to my room, but since he had full bars on his phone, my concern was ignored. I require a strong wifi connection as my travel is for work.
Next morning's shower was invigorating as it wouldn't be considered warm by any stretch of the imagination.
So, for $200.00 per night, taxes & fees included, this hotel, in my opinion, is severely overpriced.

No we do not provide a shuttle to or from the airport. The airport does have many cab companies that have been certified by the airport and provide excellent service.
