Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We seem to keep coming back to the same hotel each time we're in Toronto. Why? Quite simple. We find it good value for the money spent. Granted you have to pay for parking on site ($20 CAD/night), but all the hotels right near YYZ charge. In the grand scheme of things, the parking price is pretty reasonable for where you are.

The rooms are all recently renovated. The bed we had was very comfortable, the room was very well cleaned except for the window (perhaps housekeeping should actually clean the windows instead of leaving the smudges and fingerprints on it). The room we had with a single king bed and sofa was very large.

We arrived at the hotel around 14:30. Check in is not until 15:00, but when I checked in I was told because I asked for feather free due to allergies my room may not be ready. So he got on the radio and asked if the room had been changed to feather free. after they answered he said once again "because you want feather freee it's not ready it'll be 30 minutes to an hour". I really didn't appreciate being told it's my fault that the room is ready because I asked for feather free. but he did all the stuff to get me ready to have room cards. Swiped my credit card and told me to sit or return in a while. So we parked the car and got our luggage out. when we came in with the luggage (about 3 to 4 minutes later) he excused himself and said he forgot to swipe my credit card. I told him he had already swiped my credit card and i really didn't want to give it to him again. He said if I didn't give it i could not get a room. I told him to check the account it would see it was already done. He refused. He looked like a slob, tie all crooked and dirty full of dust and short white hair like the cat slep on it and his name tag sad Team lead or something similar. He was in charge which was really sad. the lady beside just kept shaking her head. must not be the first time this guy is really confused. First time I was not greeted as a reward member. Rooms were average but clean. Not sure they should put him in charge of dealing with the public because he failed from start to finish

Everything was excellent. Great staff, very clean, great location (for my needs). My only minor annoyance - which in fairness likely occurs at many hotels, is have to pay for parking when I am a paying guest. They should issue the permit free. This is just an unpublished (I didn't see it when I chose this hotel) cash grab.

Thank you for the positive comments on our staff and your stay, the team appreciates it. All hotels on the airport strip at Pearson Toronto airport charge for parking with the land values and demand. Our rate is one of the lowest available. We do show our parking charges on our web site and it is also indicated on our reservation confirmation sent out by the hotel. Once again thank you and we hope to welcome you back soon.

I had booked my stay(3 night mandatory quarantine) 4 months ahead and once I arrived to the hotel they charged me $700 extra. I had no choice but to pay and once I complained no one cared to answer. I have called them several times to talk to management and I haven’t been successful. In total it was very awful experience to book in advance but regardless of your booking or reservation you get charged extra. I will contact the consumer perfection to complain.

Dear Scenic596257: We appreciate your feed back on your recent Government mandated quarantine stay. As per Public health Canada you must book a 3 day Quarantine package on entry to Canada from an international destination in a Government approved Hotel. You had booked a room for local or non arriving guests. To provide the correct information and package the hotel must follow the government programs. Please refer to www.canada.ca under travel during the Covid-19 pandemic. Please contact us directly and we can provide a number to a PHAC liaison officer. We thank you for you business and hope you give us the opportunity to serve you when all government restrictions are removed.

Hotel was fine but a bit dated. Good location across from the Park & Fly. On returning from our trip I noticed an unexplained separate charge to our credit card on a different date for an unusual amount. Did not look like a "hold" amount. Called the hotel and was told to wait to see if the charge got reversed. Ended up having to call the credit card company to get it reversed. This also happened to our travelling companions who were in a separate room and their charge was for a different amount. No explanations given.

Dear kcF1271EG; I am sorry we did not clarify the situation to you. The hotel only has one charge to your card on check out. There is a pre authorization at check in which is used to finalize your account on check out. Once we finalize the charge the authorization is finished on our end. Depending on the card and issuing bank it can be instantaneously released or up to 5 business days. Please contact us directly if you have any issues that we can assist with. Thank you for your business and I hope we can serve you again.

Called hotel directly to reserve, was quoted a price, wasn’t told the quote was USD plus a booking service fee that was also USD. So a full $100 Canadian more than we were expecting to pay. Got in at 1:30am and was charged $25+tax to park my car in the hotel lot.

Dearshadow1424: Please reach out to us directly and we can see with whom you reserved your room. Calling the Hotel Directly or through Marriott central reservation would always be quoted in Canadian dollars, being a Canadian property and we never charge service fees only third party resellers do that. All hotels at Pearson airport in Toronto charge for parking with land values and demand for parking. Our rates are shown on our web site as well as on any partner sites. We look forward to working with you on this and hope to win back your trust.

Stayed here one night before a flight. Within walking distance of some good food places. Had everything we needed and it was quiet and clean. The room even had a Keurig.

The shuttle runs every 30 mins and goes direct to the terminals.

Great hotel if you are traveling from Pearson Airport.
The rooms are large and clean and modern. We travel as a family of 5, more than enough space and charging ports! IYKYK
The staff were so friendly and so helpful. Only a pool, no hot tub but the pool is warm and large. My teenage son said the workout room was very well equipped.
I love that the car is locked up while we are away!!
Shuttle to the airport is very fast and comfortable.
We got lucky and got a room where you saw planes landing up close.I recommend this experience if you are traveling with kids. The rooms must be sound proof, you barely hear their engines or anyone else for that matter.
