I never write reviews but I was so impressed with the amazing experience I had to inform everyone of how amazing the service was Of this hotel!! I was so impressed on the level of customer care the staff have showed me Eira,Susana and Laurie are amazing staff and you would be lucky to have an experience with them!!! Thanks so much for everything I will be returning no doubt:)
Susana at the front desk was kind and knowledgeable about the area. The room was breathtaking with views of the CN Tower and the Shang-ri La and Delta Toronto as well as the lake. Fit and furnishings reminded me of a boutique hotel in Knightsbridge I stayed at just weeks ago. 2 nights was not enough. I have another business meeting as well as an appointment at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto in the future and I am not going anywhere else :)
This Hilton property is in a great location in Toronto. However, our stay was average honestly and I felt this property was a bit dated and in need of an update. The breakfast provided was subpar, and even the warm breakfast (not included) was average and definitely not worth the money out of pocket. Didn't receive many of the common Gold benefits I have received at other Hilton properties, like a free upgrade, bottled water, etc. The walls were quite thin, the water pressure in the shower lacking, no hot tubs, etc. One would think that at its premier property in Toronto, Hilton would make an effort to make this property stand out.
This is in a very good downtown location but the rooms and bathrooms have started showing their age. Plus parking is very expensive and service levels can be improved. The only good things are the nice business center in the plush lobby and the Starbucks on the ground floor.
We arrived late and were quickly checked in. I thought the desk agent said he was going to send me an email/text with all the hotel info we needed. That never came. Couldn’t figure out how to get housekeeping to come, as it wasn’t automatic with COVID precautions. The phones didn’t connect to the front desk or any departments. The room was comfortable and spacious-we upgraded to a junior suite. Bed was comfortable. We dined at the restaurant for lunch. Food was pretty good, but service was lacking. Our server never returned to see how the meal was or if we needed anything (I would have liked salt and pepper) I tried to get his attention a couple of times, but he never even looked our way. Hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of downtown.
