I stay at many Comfort Inns a year and this one was excellent. The staff were pleasant and helpful every time. From calling to confirm our rooms were dog friendly to help with check out times, making fresh coffee. The just made it all good.

The layout of the front lobby is eerily familiar - I assume it's the same as some other Comfort Inn locations? I don't think I have stayed here before. One night stay on a Friday night. Our second floor king room was fine, as expected for Comfort Inn. It faced away from the highway and was fairly quiet. There was some kind of medical emergency in the hallway at night that woke up my wife but not me. Room had a separate air handling unit in the wall and windows that opened which was appealing during COVID. We got a good corporate rate and booked here at the last minute vs much more expensive rates in Niagara Falls, so the 25 minute or so drive back towards home was worth it to us. Would stay again under similar circumstances but I might look for an AirBNB or a different hotel location if I was planning to stay longer or if we were on a different kind of trip vs just staying the one night like we did. Probably 3.5 stars really.

I stayed at this hotel June 20, 2020 and saved myself money with not having to pay the extra Niagara tourist tax (approx $30) had I stayed across the bridge on the Niagara side. Hotel was clean and disinfected and pet friendly. Lots of places to walk the dog. I stayed during a heat wave and a/c worked well. Fridge and microwave so handy during these Covid times. Felt totally safe and was located close to office. Booked direct with hotel.

No room keys, staff had to let us in our room and we couldn't leave knowing we could not get back in without staff help. Microwave had wrong size turntable inside. Front desk staff had masks but were not wearing them. Not impressed after spending numerous nights this summer in Comfort Inns without issue will not recommend this one.

This is a very poor hotel property the outdoor sliding door does not have a screen. The room air feels very awful (poor odour) that said we could not open the sliding door to air the room space.
The little fridge shows mold and mold smell where are the health department in St Catharines, Ontario. I will contact the health department.
With all of that going on they charge $190 plus tax in addition to $300 Security are you serious!!!
Don’t stay here.

Friendly front desk agent but seemed like she was the only one working here. They advertise housekeeping but when we returned to the room after a long day out, the bed was not made and the room was basically in the same shape we left it in.
The pillows on the bed weren't even really pillows. They were more like cushions and very uncomfortable. The TV was also very old school. Not digital and most of the channels were unclear.
They also advertised an on site restaurant which they had, but didn't seem like it was even open during our entire stay.
Also didn't seem like there were any local attractions. Had to drive like 20 minutes to find anything

My girlfriend and I stayed at this Comfort Inn and had a very unsettling experience.
I woke up around 4:30am to use our bathroom. I heard a weird clunk at our door and came out to investigate. We had locked both the deadbolt and the latch across the top before going to bed. At this point however, the deadbolt was unlocked and that clunk had come from someone trying to access our room.
Upon checkout we complain to the front desk lady who proceeded to accuse us of a story where I was drunk and sleeping in the hallway and that a staff member had brought me back into the room at which point she claimed my girlfriend woke up confused. We were both sober the night of the incident so this was quite an unexpected accusation. When I explained this wasn't the case as I was in my own washroom and my girlfriend was dead asleep when it happened, she laughed it off, said it was probably just some random trying to access our room, then just finished our transaction with "Do you want a copy of your bill?" And 0 effort to rectify the situation through either reassurance or compensation!
From what I understand that deadbolt needs a key to unlock it so I am assuming that a staff member tried to access our room for who knows what, was stopped by the latch and then had to give some cover story. I shouldn't have to worry about someone coming into my room in the middle of the night AND if it happens not be shrugged off and laughed at when that issue is presented to the front desk.
I really wish I was making this up and don't normally complain but this is beyond good practice by a hotel.

Not a bad place for the price. Had a broken toilet in the first room and they promptly moved us to another room. They apologized but how is it the maid didn't notice when she cleaned it and only left a half roll of toilet tissue. The front desk staff was very efficient and kind. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The rooms are not sound proof. You could hear the guests above walking across the floor. A little dog across the hall barked for hours. Really wasn't worth complaining about but maybe guests with pets should be in a separate area of the hotel. Although I'm sure it's a space issue. I'd still book at this hotel again as it is between two wine regions and off the QEW so it's convenient.

We had a nice one-night stay here. It has a charming, small hotel feel. It's low frills, but the stay was comfortable. Our room faced the back parking lot, so it was quiet. The front desk staff was friendly and allowed an extra hour for check out. We also appreciated the coffee in the lobby. Currently, the restaurant on site is closed, so you'll have to go elsewhere if you're looking to eat. Would recommend here for a short trip to St. Cat's.
