I cannot say enough about our stay. From the moment we checked in (special shout out to Nickie. Terrific customer service) to checkout 7 days later, a wonderful, friendly and relaxing experience. A lovely and spacious room (on the first floor, as requested, on account of our dog), excellent daily housekeeping (upon request), a delicious (daily) breakfast buffet, and a superb location - 10 minutes by car to Sunset Beach, 15 minutes to Niagara-on-the-Lake, etc. Without a doubt, this is our new hotel for our St. Catharines staycations. Highly recommended.

We stayed during the beginning of the wave of cancellations and closures due to the coronavirus pandemic and were admittedly somewhat nervous staying in a hotel.

As a precaution we brought Clorox wipes and Lysol with us to disinfect surfaces, light switches, doorknobs, the thermostat, TV, etc...
To our surprise and delight our room was already exceptionally clean and the attention to detail top notch!

Our stay was quiet and enjoyable. The bedding was extremely comfortable.
My children thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the pool although I found the room to be VERY hot and broke out into a sweat wearing my clothes - I should have joined them in the water.

The complimentary breakfast was terrific with plenty of options; coffee, tea, juice, cereals, breads and English muffins for toast, oatmeal, baked goods, yogurt, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and make-your-own waffles with lots of toppings.

There was ample free parking and easy access to/from the QEW.

All in all we were very pleased and would definitely recommend.

Loved this property it was in a great location, close to all of the places we wanted to visit. Shopping close by, short drive to Outlet Collection and to Niagara on the Lake as well. Contactless check in, hand sanitizer and wipes readily available, clean stickers placed on door so you break the seal to enter, as well on the remote for the tv to let you know that it had been cleaned. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable everything brand new. They still supplied free breakfast in the morning but it is now a la carte. Perkins restaurant in the parking lot open for breakfast and lunch, as well as a Montana's for dinner. Great location!

Rooms were very modern and stylish. Both the room and washroom were very clean. The beds were very comfortable with a nice assortment of different pillows for both side and back sleepers. Located directly off the highway, but we could not hear the sounds of traffic. The complimentary breakfast was a win with our kids in tow because of the assortment of food options that were not cheap tasting like you'd expect from hotel buffets and their eggs. Lots of free parking and many restaurants around the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

Visiting from out of town with cousins gave me the opportunity to stay at the Hampton Inn of St. Catharines, Ontario.. Arriving late, I spoke with France, the clerk at the front desk, who suggested a nearby restaurant , Montana's, for dinner. I was not disappointed! France was also helpful in several other ways during my stay.

My room with a single king sized bed with fluffy pillows was spacious and comfy, a nice stall shower, desk with more than adequate plugs for my electronic devices, a heating system that provided instant warmth, a free wifi system, and a very nice breakfast with lots of options, including freshly scrambled eggs, make-your-own waffles, fresh muffins, fruit, juice and more! And everything was clean as a whistle!

I was glad I was able to stay two nights!

Beautiful hotel close to Niagara Falls, but away from the hustle and bustle. We frequently stay at Hilton properties, and this was one of the nicest ones we’ve stayed at in the past few years. The room was nicely appointed, very clean and well maintained. It felt like a fresh space, was comfortable, and the bathroom was great - including the spacious shower. The only thing that was missing was a microwave, but this isn’t much of a problem for us. We were on the fifth (top) floor, and we heard no noise from neighbors or the street level. The breakfast was typical of Hilton properties, it was served hot and was tasty. A big plus for us, the hotel had both a Tesla destination charger and a J 1772 charger. These were well marked, near the rear entrance, and much appreciated by us as EV owners. St. Catharines itself was a nice community to visit, with a couple of lovely beaches (one with a carousel and both with beach volleyball areas) and we enjoyed a walk to a pier next to one as well, spotting the skyline of Toronto in the distance and passing near a couple of small lighthouses. The drive to Niagara was easy, only about 15 minutes, and we had no trouble enjoying both daytime activities and the fireworks at night, but still getting back to the hotel easily and quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Would definitely stay here again, fab beds, staff great and good breakfast selection

Positives: this hotel is situated at St Catharines in a great location to explore the surrounding Niagra on the lake and Niagra falls.
The staff were really friendly and tried to answer any questions or assist with where to find locations. There is a small shop at the front which if you have forgotten essentials like toothbrush or toothpaste or want to buy water, juice or chocolate.
The room had two big queen beds, a well equipped shower over a half bath, and soaps, shampoo and creams. It had a fridge and lots of sockets.
Breakfasts: so we stayed 6 nights and breakfast varies in options and changed daily.

Suggestions: please note this is what would have made it better as it was really good. Having a bedside table at each side of the bed. I don’t think it needed two desks I would have preferred another small drawer cabinet as the metal racks were not enough. I thought there may have been croissants at breakfast. I also didn’t understand why there wasn’t a safe as most Hampton by Hilton’s have safes that I’ve stayed at.
The only thing that was slightly frustrating was that the lip balm fell down the back of the tv unit and we couldn’t get it out, but could see someone else’s room key showing we were not the only ones to lose something down there.

I would definitely stay here again the staff were great, the beds were fantastic had brilliant nights sleep.

This Hampton Inn was recently renovated and is clean and stylish. The room was comfortable and breakfast was plentiful with the standard options as well as different hot dishes each day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The gym was the best I have ever been to in a hotel. Guests have access to the gym that is connected to the hotel. It is spacious and has a variety of cardio machines, weights, and a studio room for classes as well as a full weight room.

I was on a family trip after almost 2 years of not seeing them stayed at Hampton Inn & suites in Ottawa for 2 nights, 3 nights in St Cathrines & 1 night in Quebec, in Levi. They were all very similar, beds were very comfortable, IF you like a firm mattress, which I prefer. They were clean Used the pool facilities in Ottawa & St Catherines, both were clean & well maintained, you may have to make an appointment to use the pool, we did in Ottawa, but not in St Cathrines.. where they limited the amount of guests who could be in the pool area. We enjoyed that all 3 locations had ample parking, that didn't cost any additional funds.

Have stayed here several times now, always midweek during very quiet tourist "off season". Very enjoyable relaxing stays. Excellent business and travelling public accommodations. The recent major renewal and management change has resulted in a quality addition to the St. Catharines hotel inventory. Some other hotels in town are becoming a little "tired" but here the changeover to Hampton brand is offering something well appointed and fresh. Nice rooms, good included hot breakfast buffet, good staff service.
Will visit again.
