Detailed Reviews
We were down in wine country with Bailey, our four-legged family member, and decided to grab a bite to eat at The Irish Harp. We had been there on a previous visit but had not realized how accommodating they are to dogs.
Bailey was welcomed by all of the staff on the patio and our server pointed out we could order a meal for Bailey. He chose the prime rib and rice, but they also offer a chicken Consome mocktail as well as salmon and brown rice
This is such a wonderful idea and as you can see Bailey loved it too. He cleaned the bowl and we are sure he would have eaten two!!
Kudos to the owner and wonderful staff at the Harp they take “Dog Friendly” to the next level!
Bailey gives the Irish Harp four paws plus!

We were two couples in town for shows at the Shaw Festival. We rented two rooms in the Irish Harp Pub Inn. Both rooms were very comfortably furnished. Large, comfortable beds, good seating, air conditioning (which we didn't really need). Good sound-proofing from the hustle and bustle of the inn directly below us. The one drawback for me is that there is no elevator, and I found the stairs to be a bit steep. However, that was a minor detail that I missed when I booked the rooms. Centrally located in NOTL and easy to walk to everything. Staff were friendly, and helpful. Parking is available on the street.

My husband and I have eaten here many times, but this is my first time posting a review.
We keep coming back because staff is very friendly, the food is great and the ambiance is wonderful!!
Last night was the start of our weekend visit to NOTL, as we are celebrating my birthday.
Thanks for a great start to our getaway!!!!

This is a different experience than staying at the much higher priced hotels in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It's only $99 for the night, and it was pretty bare bones. But, it was warm, clean and comfortable, and the people there are so friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a spa-like experience, you'll be disappointed. If you are looking for a reasonably-priced place to stay for a night or two right on the strip in NOTL, you can't go wrong here.
The Irish Harp pub below the Inn is a first class Irish pub experience. Great food, great service and good prices, They also have a terrific Irish band most days - often times its the Pubjugs - who are a lot of fun.

We stayed at the Carriage Inn on King Street for two nights in October. Perfect location! We could walk everywhere in the Old Town area in minutes. The accomodations were nice and cozy. Not five star, but for $175 canadian they were quite nice compared to the prices of other places in town. The bed was very comfortable, the fireplace a nice touch. There is a jacuzzi tub, but it is only a regular sized bathtub with jets. Nothing too exciting and I don't think two people would fit comfortably in it. The decor is very nice and romantic. You should know that this isn't a regular B&B or a hotel. There is no front desk to check in at and it isn't a person's home....when we made the reservation we were given the key code to the outside door and were told where to find our room key. Although we never saw an employee the entire time we were there, we did have maid service with fresh towels and the bed was made. It was fine for us, and we enjoyed the privacy that the Inn offererd, but if you are looking for high service this isn't the place for you. There was coffee in the room and ice and water in the hall. There are four rooms total which were all occupied the first night, but Sunday night we had the Inn to ourselves.

First bad review I have given like this but service was terrible here. Ordered a steak medium well and it came out almost rare. Not the end of the world. It happens. We had cut it into 3 pieces to see if there was a piece my partner could eat without complaining but it was just all too undercooked. Asked to send it back. Waiter said no problem. By the time it came back out I was already done my meal and to our surprise all they did was re-heat the 3 existing pieces so now it was too dry. Not what we were expecting. We would have said something but our waiter never came back and we had to wait for another waiter to come give us the bill. As we were leaving we found out why our waiter didn't come back, he was having a pint on the bench out front. Brutal. Won't be back.

Guiness and Murphys on Tap! Originally walked in for a beer before lunch at a location that had better reviews. Wish we hadn't left. The fish looked so good I had to try it as an appetizer....Best Fish and chips I've ever had. Very friendly and welcoming.

We had lunch at the Harp and were very pleased with the service and quality of food. Many good choices and all made at the restaurant. A clean and happy place. Our server was polite and friendly and felt truly interested in our comfort and experience. We will eat here again when we are back in twin and the mood strikes us.

It was recommended by our hotel. It took us almost 40 minutes to get served after our order. The waitress said a person in the kitchen didnt come in, but she wasnt due in until 7 and we ordered at 6:30. People next to us ordered a salad because they were in a rush and it took half an hour. After we were served, the food was very disappointing. The maple and citrus salmon was overdone so the flavors were baked out. The salmon wellington, which was recommended by our server, was bland and tasteless. What was most bothersome was the number of flies in the restaurant, many more than we saw at any other in the area.

My wife and I dropped in Friday evening for dinner and entertainment and enjoyed the experience. The only reason we haven't given a higher rating is because of her meal. She had the fisherman's wharf; the cod and scallops were good but the shrimp was dry and somewhat over cooked. The side of rice was dry and tasteless (should have stayed with the fries). We shared an order of onion rings that were okay. I had the liver and onions with mashed and enjoyed the meal.
The entertainment was enjoyable and the main reason we went to the Irish Harp. Service was friendly and efficient. Great beer selection!
We would go again.
