We had a lovely 2 night stay last week. The location is spot on, right opposite the lake and very close (3/4 min walk) to the busy touristy part of the town, which is very picturesque. Our room was large, comfortable and there was a drinks/ice station on the landing which was very well organised. We also had a (shared) balcony which was great. Breakfast was a little early tbh (8-9am) but there was a great choice of options and we left our preferences on a sheet the night before.
The house is jam packed is interesting decor and photography and has a very cosy feel to it. I would recommend my friends and family to stay here anytime!

Just completed a repeat 4-night stay. Leslie and her team were as welcoming as family. The house is charming, but the staff "seal the deal". We asked about the few negative reviews and learned they are booked through unrelated sites- go directly to book with confidence. NOTL is a wonderful town, and there is no better location to visit it than the Old Bank House.

What sold Old Bank to us was the front porch views which were a touch misleading as there is a road in between the House and the Lake ..It mattered not. It's beautifully decorated with old photos from the owner we were told is a keen photographer and took himself. Rooms were fine..no more .. sleep quality not the best I've had on this trip .. Honeymooners book elsewhere ! You will keep the whole house up ! 🙂Breakfast needs booking the night before and you have only a one hour slot.. between 8 and 9 am. It's not ideal but house rules.
All in all great stay . Very enjoyable.

Travelled 1.5 hours with a booking from a web site and they were closed for covid. The Manager did not call us or return calls. We arrived with no room. The owners or managers did not close down any pre booking web sites. Was totally unacceptable. They did call us after we had found some where else to stay last minute with a reduced rate for the night and a 20% reduction for another stay. I was insulted. Should be free stay to compensate us for their short falls. Based on our experience stay away from here at all cost. cheers all.

No housekeeping in my and other guests' $350 bedrooms. We returned to unmade beds and garbage. The manager said cleaning staff had "missed multi-day guests" and offered $10 in compensation. What a great way to destroy a vacation. It was both shocking and stressful to be in conflict with staff.

We had booked the hotel using Google and had the confirmation from the hotel. However , the hotel is closed due to COVID and has been for a few months.

When we got there the owner basically shrugged and said it’s not his fault and is unable to figure out how to update the status on google and booking.com — that’s it!!

Basically ruined our plans for long weekend!! The (not so) funny thing is that the owner did nothing about the issue and you can still book the hotel on google!!!

This is a beautiful, cosy B&b that I would definitely recommend. The room was immaculate and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent! The staff were friendly and welcoming at all times and offered suggestions for things to do in the town. I would absolutely return and really hope to do so!

Amazing small hotel, we visited in March which is low season.
It’s a lovely area, quiet with a few shops.
The hotel is very quaint and quirky, excellent welcome from Jess our host who made us very welcome.
Excellent breakfast included.
Would highly recommend staying here, right on Lake Ontario.
Very comfortable room, warm and cosy.

We only had a quick over night but enjoyed our time. We stayed in the Rose room. Very cute room, enjoyed breakfast, great location. Nice view of the lake and short walk into town. No individual AC in the rooms so we did open our windows at night but that worked perfectly.

What a lovely B&B. Breakfast was delicious. Choose the evening before from a listing of about 6 options. Served 8:00-9:00. Room was very nice with beautiful view of the Niagara River. Staff was very pleasant. Great location within walking distance to downtown area. Lovely town.
