Hotel's Favourite

We loved everything about the hotel and our stay. We have stayed at 10 hotels in the Niagara area and this one is the best in terms of overall value. It is rare to have free parking, free breakfast, a full kitchen, pool and a very quiet hotel at such a price in the Niagara area. It's about a 15 minute drive from Clifton Hills and the Falls, but totally worth it. It's very close to the outlet mall which you can see out the window, depending on your room's view.

The manager John was very attentive and I emailed him the night before our stay regarding ingredients in one of their breakfast items. When I woke up there was a response with a photo of the ingredients. Just an FYI to anyone out there, the mix used in their waffle maker is eggless! Pretty cool!

When we arrived John was in the lobby removing Christmas decorations. That shows that even as a manager he seems very hands on. He remembered my email and my name. He greeted my daughters and did a magic trick for them. He struck up a conversation with our family as well. He was very personable and we thoroughly felt right at home talking to him.

My husband spoke to Robin over the phone about an early check-in and she was such a pleasure to speak to and we met her when we checked in. She provided us with so much information about things around town (in particular skating) for little kids. She even looked up information on her phone to assist us. She was very professional and had a warm and caring attitude. Paige worked at the front desk in the evening and assisted us with board games for our kids. Thanks to the options, our little kids played Scrabble for the first time! All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and approachable.

The property was very well maintained and felt very nice and new. We didn't wait more than 2 minutes for an elevator.

Our kids enjoyed being in the pool. They love to swim. We stayed for 1 night and used the pool for roughly 1 hour each day. We were literally the only people in the pool on both days. We saw staff come in to replenish a d remove towels.

About the rooms, we loved the layout nd my husband said I could live here for a few days. Everything was clean and the things in the room were well spaced out. You could see that a lot of planning went into setting up the rooms.

The breakfast was fantastic with a lot of options. We're vegetarian and don't eat eggs and there were tons of options. Bread (gluten free available upon request - how nice is that for those that need it!), bagels, fresh fruit, oatmeal, and other typical things. As mentioned above the waffle mix is eggless. The coffee actually tasted very good. I believe they even had soy or oat milk as well. It was really a great breakfast and it was complimentary. There was also an evening reception, with a few options and nothing too fresh, but we did have some nice beverages. the fact that the rooms have full kitchens meant we brought fresh foods to much on anyway.

There was ample parking (free) at the hotel and we could even see our car out the window which I liked.

We had numerous devices connected to the WiFi and the connection was fantastic.

My husband kept saying, you made a good choice picking this place. We frequent the Niagara area and this will now be our hotel of choice (if we don't need a water Park). It was a perfect getaway that our family needed.

Kudos to the hotel staff for taking such care of every detail! We have recommended the place to others as well. Yes, you need to drive to the falls, but it's not that far at all. We hope Stay bridge expands in Canada. Thanks again.

The hotel is new and well maintained. Reception which is shared with the holiday inn is very nice and well furnished. The suites are very good sized and comfortable with all the amenities like a full kitchen and refrigerator.I had booked 2 studio suites. At check in we were offered a complimentary upgrade to a 1 bedroom and 1 studio interconnected suites as I had requested for interconnecting rooms.

Breakfast was good and the evening social was excellent. Basically breakfast and dinner was included in the room price. There was a Jordanian lady chef who prepared excellent items for the evening social. Especially the cookies were tasty.

There is a fitness centre and heated pool at the property. There is ample free parking.

Location is very strategic just off the highway from Toronto, about 10 minutes to Niagara Falls and 15 mins to the quaint little town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Tim Hortons is just outside the hotel and then there is a huge outlet mall opposite the hotel. This hotel is good value for money if compared to the downtown Niagara Falls hotels. Those hotels are expensive and charge a lot for parking. If you have a car this hotel is highly recommended.

The staff were very good with their services especially Mr Kevin Lanteigne in the front desk who was very courteous and helpful in providing valuable information about the local area driving directions to the US etc. He also invited us for the evening social.

Overall we had a great stay of 2 nights which I felt was short at this lovely hotel. I could have stayed longer.

We stayed 2 nights, Sunday and Monday, to avoid the high prices and crowds in town at Niagara on the Lake. It's an easy drive or bicycle ride to the wineries and attractions. Also short drive to the big outlet mall and Bass Pro Shop. Staff is very helpful and doing all the usual co-vid precautions. Because of this, you need to book a swim (maximum of 8 at a time). The buffet breakfast is also modified. You need to submit a written order form which is efficiently filled while you wait. The room was a very well equipped suite. It was spotlessly clean. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Great start - plenty of luggage carts. Friendly & helpful front desk folks (Kevin & Jasper). The suite was very clean and modern. Each room had a TV and temperature controls. Most importantly the bedroom doors meant my wife and I could nap or sleep without disturbing the other partner working or watching TV.

The daily breakfast menu was well above par and changed from day to day - really nice.

Also really enjoyed the salt water pool. All in all a great stay!

The hotel is really close to the outlet mall in niagara on the lake, less than a 5 min drive and a 10 min walk. There isn’t much else within walking distance, the popular restaurants are a 10-15 min drive to downtown or to the falls. We were having drinks so we took an Uber to the casino for around 25$.
The service at the hotel was truly exceptional, super friendly staff that were more than happy to answer questions. They really make you feel welcome and seem to really enjoy their jobs!
The rooms were absolutely spotless and huge!! Separate bedroom and a full kitchen!! We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone we know!!

We visited NOL and chose this to be our home base. The location was convenient and a lot less expensive than staying in NOL town.
We stayed in a King Suite and we loved having the kitchen available to us! Our room was spotless and well maintained.
Breakfast was great and you could bring it up to your room to eat which was great. Hot egg sandwiches, cereal, yogurt, fruit, granola bars, coffee, tea, juice all available. They’ve adapted to the changes due to covid well! Staff was always friendly and attentive.
Thanks for a great stay!

This hotel has a lot to offer. The rooms and suites are well equipped. The studios have everything as the suites but there is no table to eat at. We started out in a studio but there was a mechanical issue that was noisy. I mentioned it to the front desk the next morning and the apologized for the inconvenience and moved us to a one bedroom suite. The suite had a full size fridge, two burner countertop stove and everything you need to make a meal. The beds were comfortable and plenty of sitting area to relax. There was no bathtub in either room but the shower was great.
There are two bbq’s and a fire table out behind the pool area for the guests use.
With Covid the breakfast has been modified. In the breakfast area you fill out a form of what you would like and the staff bag it up for you. The breakfast consisted of coffee, tea, juice and milk. They also have cereal, yogurt, fruit and breakfast sandwiches.
The staff were great. Check in was smooth, Chevy was great. Thanks to Kevin and Rose for understanding our concern about the noise we heard from our room.
We would recommend this hotel, it’s close to all the the area has to offer.

The property met and exceeded our expectations in every way. Check-in was handled well, very pleasant young woman who was professional and helpful. As I and my spouse are both Marriott Titanium Life status members we seldom step away from Marriott properties. We are discovering (sadly/disappointed) that they are no longer maintaining the high standard that once was common and the Staybridge was by far nicer in every way. Well appointed, spacious room with a wonderfully comfortable bed with good linens, kitchen fresh and equipped with anything needed to prepare meals if desired. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of tasty choices with enough staff to keep up with the guests, refill and refresh items and respond pleasantly to requests. It was also nice to have stainless flatware and dishes (as Marriott has defaulted to plastic ware and paper/Styrofoam plates). We will happily return here and also consider other Staybridge Suites because of what we experienced here. Very pleased all around.

Thank you Fly-drive-ride for putting your trust in us to provide a great stay while in the area. We know that it's not always easy to convince someone to try another hotel, especially when they hold top tier status with another brand. Since we opened our hotel back in 2018, we have been fortunate to have many guests tell us that they love the product and service offering from Staybridge Suites. We are proud to be one of the first to open in Canada, and we have seen many more open up in the years since. We do hope that you are also enrolled in our IHG One Rewards Club program, as it continues to win awards as one of the most rewarding programs in the industry. Furthermore, not only do members get preferred pricing in all our hotels, but there are several opportunities each year to earn double or triple points with each stay. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. The Niagara region has so much to offer, year round, that regular visits have become the norm for so many.

This is a newer property, at least looked like one. We drove from NYC to here for our first day prior to visiting Niagara Falls on the Canadian side.

We were blown away that our Suite looked like a brand new condo, thoroughly clean from the floors to the beds to the bathrooms. From the cleaning to the ample laundry machines we used, our evening of check in was fantastic to start. The desk was very helpful to exchange about $10 worth of USD to Canadian quarters and dollars for the laundry machines. The laundry machines were new and did a great job.

The next morning, the breakfast had plenty of hot and cold options. Loved it. We stayed here for just 1 night, wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time. :)

What a great hotel, we loved our suite! It was beautifully decorated with a fully stocked kitchen (cooktop burners only for stove), full fridge, dishwasher and coffee maker. We loved the Dove amenities in the shower too, these were great. Lots of outlets and usb plugs, two tv’s, one king and pull out couch.

Perfect location, right beside Niagara shopping outlets which has great deals at some of the outlet stores.

We walked next door to the Hilton restaurant for dinner which had good food (with kids menu) and a little sports bar area where the hockey game was on.

Breakfast was included and was really good!

We had a nice swim (open till 11pm); we did notice that the pool deck needs a good scrub. It may be because the door was open onto the mini putt/fire pit area so may let unnecessary dust in.

Thank you for having us; we will definitely return!

What do they serve at the evening social
Answer from Julie P

When we were there the social was only on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. Monday it was hummus, vegie sticks, Naan bread, fruit and meatballs. Tuesday, we did not attend. Wednesday it was potato bar - mashed potatoes, gravy, bacon, chives, cheese, sour cream. You had your normal drinks, soft drinks, water. For wine, there was a charge of $5.00 per glass. I hope this helps!
