Cute Hotel with small rooms. I booked a room with Falls view tower king bed on July 26th 2020. The room was located on the 30th floor Rm # 3001 as a surprise gift for my husband’s 30th birthday Lol. If anyone's looking for a short stay give this a try but would recommend do your own research before booking to make sure this hotel meets your expectations. So, the room we got had a very nice King size comfy bed with an amazing falls view. Drawback here was you can’t fully enjoy the view because of the rooms of embassy suites that is facing the falls too you can literally see people in the embassy suites. God knows who's watching whom. But anyways we did enjoy the view we got no regrets. There are small things to consider before booking as there are not a lot of amenities in the room. We did get a fridge but I guess may be because I asked for it and so they would have arranged. There is a small table and a chair. TV, WIFI, Iron box, few hangers, alarm clock, ice bucket, enough toiletries for two. One thing that I liked was they do keep 2 bottles of water. No microwave or coffee machine. They also give you a 20% coupon to their restaurant which we didn't bother using. My husband did point out couple things about the room like the shower curtain rod being rusted, walls being stained by previous guests and also a big spider by the door. I do have pictures of it, but I don't want to post and freak people out. I guess it depends on us how we respect someone else's property by leaving the room in a good state. I bet nobody will do this to their own house. Free Parking as a complimentary for my husband’s birthday could have made us feel a little better. They say it’s a valet parking we paid $25 but then we had to park off the property and no valet parking due to Covid-19 which is understandable but at least could have brought the parking price down if you’re not providing valet service. The room was for $80 with whole bunch of taxes and fees we paid $140 for a night. THE VIEW what mattered our stay..

For Valentines Day, my bf and I drove up from the states for a romantic view of one of our favourite destinations, Niagara Falls.
We had reserved the luxury view room about a month in advance. We were supposed to have the view of both falls.
Upon check in, the desk clerk and the manager informed us that they had just been talking about us... odd.
they looked nervous and went back and forth on which one of them was going to handle our check in.
Anyway... turns out that a giant toilet flood closed 5 of their best rooms on Valentines Day... one of those being ours.
They apologised and gave us $75 off our room AND all fees cut, a free breakfast plus extra restaurants/attraction coupons with the promise of a better room the next night.
So we spent Valentines night on the bottom floor with a tiny room andantes tiny window with the view of a wall.
The TV was difficult to use.
We weren’t too happy.
The next day, our new room was ready by about 1pm, so we went through the hassle of checking out/in (again).
Our new room was on the 27th floor. We had a fantastic view of Horseshoe Falls. It was kind of disheartening to not see both falls, but we took what we got.
I loved the amount of natural sunlight that came into the small room. The room was clean and had a fridge. I’m not sure that we ever actually closed the curtains.
Side note: the hallways to the room was like a maze, I thought it was kind of fun lol. The room had a nice jacuzzi tub, but we didn’t get the chance to try it out.
FYI, don’t forget to close the curtain while you’re on the pot, you may have a lower building neighbor waving at you like I did 🙄
The reason I gave it 3 stars rather than 2, was because of one of the coupons we received for our flooded room.
They gave us a $100 off of a meal from Ruth Chris Steakhouse. I thought it was a slightly fancier Applebee’s, but wow I was so wrong (read my review for that place lol). It was not a place we would have gone without the Tower Hotel providing the discount.
So bottom line, the service was unfortunate. Especially since we had planned to spend our Valentine’s Day night romantically spending time cozy in the room with a view of the falls.
Thankfully it wasn’t a once in a lifetime type trip for us because I would have been quite upset otherwise.
The room was nice, but not what we paid for.
I’d stay again, but I don’t think I’d be able to convince my bf.

We had some issues with reservation on Booking.com, they said we would get the fallsview but turned out they put us in cityview. Skeptical and scared tbh because we've seen past reviews but it was really good actually. Qhu at Front Desk was helpful, she actually gave us a partial view at a same price and also gave us free breakfast (saved us a lot of money, we heard IHOP was pricey). Qhu was easy to deal with. Valet a bit confusing but heyyy, it's Niagara Falls.
Definitely will come back but hopefully we can book an actual falls view or ocean view or whatever you call it.
P/s: 1 ice machine only..... kinda annoys .

Drove up and was greeted by a very sour expression on a “valet” person who greeted me by asking “are you valet parking?” I said no and he literally just stood there glowering. I asked if it was required and he stated it was. After I told my husband, the man grudgingly said unless I want to leave and go find public parking. Upon going inside the lady behind the counter asked my info, then asked if I was valet parking. I told her apparently yes as I was informed I had no choice. She just laughed. After laughing for a minute she told me if I left and found parking elsewhere they would remove the 30$ fee. She “pre-authorized” my card and offered to “upgrade” my room for free to a room on a higher floor city side. I declined. Knowing about the parking situation ahead of booking, would really have been nice.
The room is ok. The bed is super soft with medium to no firmness. The tv has white dots where there is no colour in some pixels. There is no Bible which saddened me but others don't care. The washcloth was sad, old and threadbare. Water was nice and hot, commode looked brand new as did the shower.
I do not believe I would return voluntarily. I would not recommend.

As others have stated this hotel is in a great location with absolutely amazing views of the falls- we could hear the rumble of the falls as we walked in to the room. The bed in our room was really comfortable as were the pillows.
The rooms are however in need of updating and the biggest let down was the cleanliness - there was a thick layer of dust on all the flat surfaces - so much so that I cleaned the room on arrival before we unpacked any clothes but there was still a thick covering on the carpets around the edge of the rooms and behind each piece of furniture which we could easily see due to the odd angles of the room to accommodate the building shape. I did report it to reception and they apologised but it was so bad that it cannot have been one poor clean it is clearly an ongoing cleaning issue, probably not helped by the fact they don't routinely service the rooms daily it is only done if you request it.
Overall it was good value for the location and views but such a shame it feels so run down and unloved.

Arriving to The Tower Hotel there is a small driveway for you to temporarily park while you check in. Staff was very nice and answered any questions we had. We were then given directions on how to get to their self parking lot which they share with the Embassy Suites next door. It's a 3 block drive but a shuttle is then called to pick you up to get you back to the hotel. They are very on top of it and we waited less than a minute every time. At the time we went it was 35 + tax per night to park in the lot. We stayed on the 28th floor which included big windows with a view. We got lucky and had a half city and half American Falls view. Both views were breathtaking, especially to wake up to. It's a small room but comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, we slept great. Bathroom also has a view. Shower head was great with many stream options. Tub was huge with a jet stream option. Unfortunately, ours did not work but the tub is extremely spacious and comfortable to sit in. Our only 2 cons were 1. The room didn't look as clean as we would've liked but it wasn't disgusting either. The carpets could definitely use an update or deep clean 2. There was something going on with the thermostat. We set it at the lowest setting possible and the room wouldn't go below 74 degrees which with the warmth and humidity of Niagara can be uncomfortable. When I did bring this issue up at checkout, the staff was gracious in receiving this concern and they comped a night of parking for the inconvenience, which we were appreciative of. Overall, it was a great stay and we were pleasantly surprised considering the ratings we saw for them. The Tower Hotel is not a bad choice and very convenient with pricing and location.

Neat hotel experience. The rooms are quite small and pretty basic, even in the penthouse, where we stayed. Parking is $35 and it's offsite, about a 5 minute shuttle ride. Avoid the onsite IHOP restaurant; the prices are very high and the quality is only OK.

I booked this hotel on a lark & curiosity as I knew it as the Minolta Tower as a kid growing up. I also figured it would have spectacular views. In this area, the hotel did not disappoint. Though we did not have a full view of the Falls we could see the top and overlooking the river and city. The lobby is beautiful. Parking is offsite but not too far away and a shuttle is provided. The rooms are very small due to the shape of the building but the view more than makes up for that and we were literally only in our room to sleep. Due to the beauty of the lobby I was expecting/hoping the rooms would be similar in elegance, however they are dated and plain… especially the bathroom. Our toilet stopped flushing around 3am. We did not call down because we did not want a repairman in the room at that hour. The lobby gave us a discount on parking for the hassle of the toilet, but really I feel parking should have been completely comped for that. There were stains on the walls that could have been cleaned off. The bed, however, was very comfortable. The TV is an awkward spot, however that is due to the room shape and could not be helped. We got a decent price on the room, I satisfied my curiosity but I likely would explore other options the next time I am in Niagara.

Got an amazing deal for a couple at the end of summer. Got the king room with a view of the city and was still great for what we paid for. The staff there is fairly friendly except the man that works the desk late at night that give us a little bit of a hard time for checking in later. The shuttle service is Great! super well run and definitely worth the extra cost for a few nights. The only thing I would not recommend is the IHOP on site which is extremely expensive and the elevators to get to it is kind of a pain.

Rude, disrespectful, grumpy staff. As you walk in instead of being greeted they give you a dirty look to make you feel unwelcome.
Housekeeping is a joke, they don’t clean or vacuum, only fix the bed without changing sheets.
Room key stops working every single day and once you bring it to their attention they blame it on you.
Management and staff don’t give a **** about anything and don’t want you to bother them with anything.
And please see attached a picture of what you see once you get off the elevator.
They have simply gave up on this place and hired the worst people to run it down the heel.

I agree with blueXjell. There is an IHOP but the restaurants and bars in the surrounding area are much better. If I'm not mistaken there is lounge you can bring your own drinks with a nice view of the falls.
Yes, it is. They have a small room and lock it up for you.
We had a perfect room for 1 night stay so it's like others. Hit and miss
