The Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview Hotel & Suites boasts a vibrant ambiance with live entertainment, positioned advantageously for exploring local attractions. However, guests have called out the need for room modernization and raised eyebrows at the decor. While the stunning views and room features receive applause, the value proposition is often marred by expensive parking and meals, alongside additional fees.
The service experience is a mixed bag, with commendations for staff attentiveness contrasting with reports of maintenance and elevator inefficiencies. Despite cleanliness being generally satisfactory, some inconsistencies have been noted.

Detailed Reviews
This is a centrally located hotel and based on your room location, you can have an excellent view of the falls. Most of the staff were excellent and necessary precautions in place. Unbelievable I heard some guests be rude when reminded to wear a mask. Check in was slow and the non honours line was moving quicker but the staff were doing their best - the location of check in and acoustics makes their job a real challenge so kudos to the team for doing their jobs so well. We arrived at 3pm and our room wasn’t ready until 4.30pm. We were one hour early so I knew this was a risk. I asked if there was an eta we could get as I had young kids with us and I was trying to decide whether to hang on or put them back in the car and do an activity. The second receptionist I spoke to rang housekeeping who advised they had a rush on the room and then he hung up without asking for an approx timeline. He was utterly helpless. I said I just want to know will be be 20 mins or 2 hours and he said he couldn’t advise me and couldn’t ask housekeeping. He didn’t even ask and it wasn’t an automated recording as he was speaking to someone. So we sat for 90 mins in reception and then I asked a manager for an eta and he was excellent and gave us a different room that was ready. We had chosen a 2 bed premium suite for the views and it didn’t disappoint. The room stank of smoke though and it was a non smoking floor. We didn’t complain but we should have but we after the long check in I was too tired. There are 4 in my family and the first thing we did was have showers. There was no shower gel so I had to go and get it from housekeeping. Then we realized it was one small shampoo and conditioner for 4 people so back to housekeeping and there was no water in the room but I didnt raise this. Queues for the elevator weren’t too bad (5-10 mins max) but necessary for social distancing and they clean the elevator buttons each time so I appreciated that. What I didn’t appreciate was the man in front of us with a mask around his chin and sneezing. We decided to leave after one night as due to COVID it just wasn’t that enjoyable. Plus the couple in the room next to us were screaming and fighting so bad I had to ring security at 5am. Not an ideal environment for young kids but not the hotels fault I know. We ate in Hilton Benefits for breakfast. Service was mediocre and food took about 45 mins to arrive. We have a free breakfast with hhonors but I had to pay for eggs for some reason. All in all I think most staff are doing their best with a hotel whose acoustics are terrible and then add screens and masks! Good location and great views if you have the right room. Stay safe everyone.

I'm giving it four stars for a couple of reasons - one, they were under construction during our stay and there are not currently any on-property pool amenities (though they state they made arrangements with another property to get access for guests, we did not take advantage). Our first room was next to some conspicuous drilling related to a large construction project that was in progress. We were moved to another room higher up, which was much better from a noise perspective.
We liked the location as it was a convenient walking distance to the Falls, and connected to the Fallsview Casino complex, which had several options for shopping and dining. It's also an ambitious walking distance to Clifton Hill, so either bring some walking shoes or pay for a quick ride over there to check it out.
The staff were very friendly and we were very pleased with our stay and hope to return again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in March in a 2-room suite on the 50th floor...
Pros
1) Room was very comfortable and spacious
2) Views from the 50th floor were unbelievable. Arguably one of the nicest views from any hotel anywhere.
3) Staff was exceptional. Every small request made to the front desk was answered instantly through the Hilton App.
4) I felt extremely valued as an Honors Gold member, free upgrade, water, breakfast, separate lines etc.
Cons
1) Cleanliness was perhaps a 6 or 7/10. Nothing was terribly wrong but crumbs on the couch, dust on counter, stains in a few places. Overall would like to see a slightly higher standard from a Hilton.
2) Lots of extra taxes/fees. However, you should be aware of this before you go.
3) Construction was actually more intrusive than I had expected. It is literally everywhere in the hotel. Even on the 50th floor we were woken by pounding outside at 8am. Should be nice once they are done.
Overall very pleasant stay. I will also add that we stayed here during the start of the virus pandemic. The hotel took exceptional measures...hand sanitizer almost every corner, staff distributed buffet food, constant and visible cleaning of public areas. I felt very safe knowing they were taking all measures to keep things in control and prevent any germs around the hotel.

Stayed there recently with a Casino Comp. Renovations are still ongoing and nearing completion. If you haven't been there in a while, the Front Desk has moved. There was absolutely no signage to guide you to the new location so the hunt was on. Found it after a few minutes of walking. Check in was smooth and the staff friendly. Had a room up on the 48th floor. It was one of those corner rooms with the air vent aimed directly at the bed. Housekeeping clearly dropped the ball. Bathroom was not up to standard. Toilet paper on the floor and long black hairs on the floor and in the Jacuzzi tub. Two unanswered calls to the Front Desk later we decided to clean the place as best we could. Housekeeping staff was gone from the floor so we used whatever we could to make the bathroom usable. This is absolutely unacceptable from a distinguished place and made the stay totally uncomfortable. Speaking of uncomfortable, I firmly believe the bed we had was from when the first day they opened. Saggy and lumpy are the first adjectives that come to mind. A lot of my injuries from my military career came back to haunt me the next morning after sleeping on this Motel 6 mattress. Umm .. sorry .. I've had more comfortable beds in a Motel 6. I've had more comfortable sleeps on an army cot than on this bed. It was simply horrible.
Overall this was a terrible stay. It left us with such a sour taste in our mouths that we will no longer frequent this hotel with complimentary stays or otherwise. The experience was totally unpleasant and we will not subject ourselves to such a substandard establishment again.

The hotel is nice and clean but the overall experience was not a pleasant one. When checking in we were told that our reservation had been cancelled by an employee as stated by the manager on duty. The Hilton was quick to provide another room however the breakfast that was included with our original booking was not included. This resulted in having to get turned away the next morning at breakfast and head back to the front desk to speak with someone. Thankfully they didn't give us too much trouble about providing the breakfast option. On our last day we recieved the bill for the room and noticed that they had charged the room to the card on file even though we specifically stated upon check in we did not want that credit card charged and would be using a different form of payment to pay for the room at check out. When we checked our online banking we also noticed that the amount that was charged to this card was almost $200 more than the amount on the bill. The desk attendant confirmed with us when checking in that it was not a problem to pay with a different card at checkout and would make note of it on file. Obviously, that did not happen. We have now paid for the hotel twice and are waiting to see if the original charge on the card that we specifically asked not to be used will be refunded. At the point of check out we were eager to leave the hotel. In the rush to leave we forgot a bottle of wine from our wine tour in the fridge. I realize this our fault and the hotel is not responsible however it took almost an hour for them to send someone to the room to look for it while we waited in the lobby. We were also told we would receive a phone call in a couple minutes once the bottle was found which we did not. We had to speak to 3 separate people before finally getting our wine back.
I think that the Hilton should work on some protocols and organization and recognize that when guests are paying upwards of $200 a night for a room the size of a shoebox, the stay should be fairly smooth which ours definitely was not.

They should not be allowed to operate under the Hilton name. corporate should look into this location. Stayed in the North with Canadian and US falls view with a king bed and whirlpool. The first room smelled like stale smoke and cannabis. Called front desk had to wait 15min to get a response.
Finally we got a new room 4652. The furniture was old, nothing like they presented in the picture, on there site. The wallpaper was coming off the wall in the bathroom, the coffee maker had no outlet to plug into, had to move it to the nite table and plug it into the night lamp.
Long wait time for elevator. I have stayed at the Hilton in the Caribbean at cheaper rates and got 200% way better treatment and cleaner and more appealing rooms, not roadside looking motel furniture that looked it came out of the garbage.

We booked two deluxe suites with two bedrooms each, with a falls view and bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. Wait time for elevators was extensive despite extra staff to monitor and clean at check in time, but no extra elevator cleaning evident other than at check in time in late afternoon. Also long wait in car when pulled in, only to have to drive to offsite parking, then walk a few blocks or wait for a shuttle. Window for view of American Falls was dirty; despite 'clean check' sticker on door, the inside of bathroom door was dirty. One room was extremely hot and A/C never came on. Front desk staff NOT helpful. Vending machine, ice machine on 16th or 17th floor not functioning. Check in was extremely long wait. When call placed from room late evening regarding non functioning vending machines for bottled water, the response from front desk was that the vending machines were not the responsibility of hotel. When pushed, the front desk agreed to have bottled water delivered to the room but when the delivery arrived 30 minutes later it was four new towels that were delivered, not water! So we walked 3 floors to find a working vending machine to overpay once again for the water not dispensed initially. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience for the price paid. I expected exceptional service to attract customers back as part of Stage 3 reopening during pandemic, but this was certainly not our experience.

Stayed for one night with my wife. We checked in and went directly to our room to freshen up as we started our shower and were undressed (intimately) a maintenance worker walked in with out any knocking or announcement of his entry. As we stared at each other me and my wife undressed he simply yelled woe buddy and exited....i confronted the front desk who passed me onto security. No apologies from either the desk security or the maintenance worker, nor an explanation as to why he was there in the first place. A simple we can move your room if you want was all i was offered when i asked for a refund. I didn’t drive 2 hours and pay $200 to have my naked rear end spied on. Have stayed at this Hilton over a dozen times but that will be my last

Where do I begin.... Prior to booking, I read reviews trying to get a feel for their COVID 19 measures and precautions. Being that there is over a thousand rooms, what are the odds that we experience the same thing as one of the 7 or 8 negative reviews? Well, pretty damn good apparently! Check in is definitely a process and social distance minimal at best. Upon entering the room, we were welcomed with an unpleasant odour. The reviews led us to be overly cautious and do a thorough inspection of the general cleanliness. There is no way you should find dirty “clothes” in a certified Lysol cleaned, sticker seal on the door room. Well we did. The hotels responses? “What would you like us to do?” Let me count the ways! After an offer of a $50 rebate and a room change, we begrudgingly accepted. Room number 2? Marginally better. No dirty “clothes” at least! Back to the lobby we go! Surprised surprised there was a line and it doesn’t matter if your vip or not. Upon expressing our concerns on the second room four other people overheard our conversation and came over to complain about their room as well. One of the couple being so irate they ask for a Full refund and left. More of a Measure to shut us up amid the every growing line they did finally gave us a satisfactory compensation, one night free. Thank god we brought our own cleaning supplies I definitely recommend it.

I'm posting an update to my 2015 review - I had a stellar experience at the time, but I recently spent another night and it was a bit different.
A friend kindly booked a room for us through their hilton rewards point, she is a diamond member so we were able to get checked in faster and got upgraded to a bigger room. We ended up staying in the same type of room as during our 2015 stay. This is the best suite available, 2 king beds, prime view of the falls, giant jacuzzi bath tub and separate shower.
The room is showing signs of wear of tear, nothing to the room itself has been updated since we last visited, there are scuff marks here and there and the mattress on one of the beds was sagging.
Here's a tip, if ever you travel or sleep alone, try to position yourself in the very middle of the bed since that part of the mattress is less used. The sides dip in too much.
Last time we came we were able to park for free by using the adjoining casino's parking, but since that is now closed during covid, we had no such luck. The parking on site is $45 a day, plus tax and hotel fees which is then billed to your room. This came up to a little over $56 for one day of parking!! Even with the diamond member status, they do not offer free parking. I find this rate completly ridiculous. There is a cheaper option to park off site ($30) but you need to take a shuttle to and from, so that is far from convenient.
Make sure you factor in this parking rate if you decide to come here!
Another downside is that the lobby is undergoing a lot of renovations and some restaurants are closed off. Due to covid, they also restrict the number of people in the elevators and this causes major line ups to access the north tower. At full capacity I believe this tower holds over 2000 guests so you can imagine the traffic going up and down.
Our stay included breakfast, there is no longer a buffet option, but a very boring and limited a-la-carte menu. We got simple omelette, potatoes and toast.
I still love the location of the hotel, the amazing view from our room and the grand feel of the hotel, but the parking issue, dated rooms and lack of food selection on site just doesn't warrent a 5 star experience right now.
