Courtyard Niagara Falls is frequently applauded for its spick-and-span and contemporary rooms, with guests often praising the comfort and recent updates. The hotel's location is a hit, with many visitors appreciating the short stroll to the Falls. Despite the kudos for cleanliness and amenities, some travelers have experienced housekeeping inconsistencies and issues with air conditioning.
The staff's service receives mixed reviews, ranging from commendable attentiveness to occasional neglect. Additionally, while the parking fees are a point of contention, they are generally seen as par for the course in the area.

Detailed Reviews
We recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a quick family getaway. We cannot say enough great things about this hotel! Check in was pleasant as was every encounter we had with the front desk staff members. There was ample parking, in a secure, bright and safe parking lot and parking is under $20 per day for in and out privileges. The hotel itself was spotless and felt very safe and secure, which is very important to us especially traveling during a pandemic. The room was very spacious and offered a great view of the area. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room offered all of the amenities and space that our family required. The hotel itself is in in the most convenient location, it's close, within walking distance to all attractions and surrounded by plenty of dining options. We utilized the outside pool during our stay and found the COVID protocols put in place to be great, although the pool area could use a bit of weeding and tidying up, the pool itself was very clean! We definitely cannot wait to return and have nothing but great things to say about this hotel.

This hotel is located within walking distance to all the major attractions, which is great so you don't have to move your car. The Cafe was not open, so no breakfast options on site and the Dennys across the street don't allow takeout. The room itself was huge but very spartan. Not much in terms of extra amenities- very small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. No shower gel or shower cap. Apart from the mirror over the vanity, there was no other mirror in the room. Full length one would have been practical. There was a large arm chair but no small table next to it to enjoy your coffee. The coffee maker was broken, water would leak out from the bottom each time we used it. The room was clean-ish; the bath tub needed a good cleaning we decided to only take showers because of this. For the pool, you need to reserve in blocks of 1 hour. I don't think anyone monitors when people leave as when we arrived, there were two couples who were sitting in the pool that should have been gone. The housekeeping did not come due to the fact that we stayed 3 nights but they did send us coffee; towels and toilet paper fairly quickly when requested. Overall, it was an OK stay. I guess I was expecting more because it is a Marriott hotel. In terms of the location it is in a great spot, not too noisy and close enough to get to the Falls in 10 - 15 minutes.

This was our second visit to the Courtyard Marriott in Niagara Falls, and our first vacation during “Covid Times.” Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. There are many good things to say about it, so will start at ground level.
1. Great location, about halfway between the two casinos, so it’s an easy walk to either Fallsview or Casino Niagara and the Falls.
2. Large parking lot so whenever you arrive you are guaranteed to find a spot. However, I don’t understand why they have to charge for parking if you are already paying for a room.
3. Beautiful front lobby with plenty of luggage carts. However, not enough front desk staff and the front, desk was often abandoned in the evening. Not a good look for any hotel.
4. While the hotel has two pools, one indoors and one outdoors, the indoor pool was closed and you needed a reservation to access the outdoor pool as it was restricted to 20 people at a time. However, we found the pool area often had far less than the maximum allowed. I think people would “book” the pool and simply not show up. The hotel should have invested in a security person at the pool to monitor the number of people using it during the day instead of instituting a useless reservation system. The result is paying for a facility that you cannot use.
5. One of the things we loved about the Marriott – as opposed to other hotels – is their room cleaning schedule. At most hotels, you have no idea when your room will be cleaned. Here they provide a request form in your room. You fill the time of day you would like your room cleaned, place it on the door handle and, presto, it is cleaned at that time. It’s great because after returning to the room after a full day on the go, it’s nice to return to a clean room. The option of simply getting clean towels daily was a great addition to the place.
Despite a number of issues we had with the place, we would give it another try, but probably not until Covid is over.

This is our 2nd time staying at this property and we love it! Employees were all friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless and spacious, you cant beat the location and the price to park is a very reasonable $17 day with unlimited in/out privileges. We were upgraded upon check in the Jr. Presidential suite, which was a fun surprise but to be honest the view and the rooms in the standard range are just as lovely. This hotel is under renovation but we were never inconvenienced at all by it. Such great value! We can't wait to return!

While at a hockey tournament in Buffalo I received an email indicating my Marriott points were going to expire. I was able to book points and stay a night with my family at this property for free. Upon arrival I requested an upgrade as we are a family of 8, the hotel obliged and we stayed in a 2 room suite which had 2 queen beds and a separate room with a fold out couch. This room had ample room and was set up perfectly for our families needs. The queen beds were super comfortable. When in Buffalo we were stuck staying at a different brand who's beds were not nearly as comfortable. It was so nice to get a solid nights sleep. The staff were extremely friendly, the pool was the warmest pool I've ever experienced at a hotel. If it wasn't 90 degrees it was close, which made swimming extra enjoyable for my 6 kids. Breakfast at the Keg was great, they even offered us a late check out at no extra charge which enabled our kids to take a nice long swim the day of our departure. I understand I did not pay to stay at this hotel, but would most definitely paid the $150 a night for the room we received as it met our needs perfectly. I would most definitely return. Well done Courtyard, we appreciated your hospitality!

If you're like me and pack as many activities into a trip to The Falls as possible, you won't find a better located hotel. It's about a five minute walk to Clifton Hill, and a little longer to the Falls themselves and the Fallsview Casino district. The WEGO bus is also easily accessible.
I have always found the hotel to be clean, the rooms to be comfortable and the staff to be top notch. The front desk folks are happy to give you any information you might need on things to do and places to eat. They suggested what is now my favorite breakfast in town, the Falls Manor.
The Keg servers up mouthwatering steaks and has a great selection of draft beer and wine both by the glass and by the bottle.
The hot tub and indoor pool are both great. I've read reviews complaining about the chlorine content in the water, but I've never experienced any discomfort after a swim.
The only small negative I can mention is that the outdoor pool is right beside the parking lot and there are places in the wall where anyone walking by can see into the pool area. This may leave some swimmers feeling a bit exposed.
For a very nice mid range hotel that gives great value for money I would recommend the Courtyard Marriott.

This is not our first visit to Courtyard Marriott and definitely won't be our last. The location is perfect, about halfway between the Falls and Fallsview area. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. We love that guests have the option of choosing when to have their room cleaned or even if they wanted it cleaned. Being there for only a few days we chose just to get clean towels every day. It would be nice if the place had its own restaurant, but Denny's is right across the street. Would also be nice if they didn't charge so much for parking. I know everyone in the Falls area charges for parking but give guests a break. Would also have been nice to have been offered an upgrade since we were celebrating a birthday.

We are Gold elite members with Marriott Bonvoy and prefer to stay loyal the brand. Since I was a child I have likely stayed at 20+ plus Niagara hotels and all 5 of the Marriott/Sheraton brand hotels in the city. Although this one has the least amount of bells and whistles between all of them. The fact that it doesn't charge a daily resort fee like 3 of them and parking is more than half the price as the other 4 can be a real game changer if you're not looking for a fallsview room. The central location is perfect for closeness to Clifton Hill, Falls and casino district. We do enjoy the other Marriott/Sheraton's and yes the rooms are a little nicer at them, but I really can't justify the daily resort fee and $40+ parking a night added onto steeper nightly fees already. The Courtyard will likely be our go to for now on at the Falls.

This hotel is fine. We stayed because there was no availability at the Fairfield. We are Bonvoy members and used points. We were traveling with 2 grandchildren ( 9&13). The lobby was ok but not overly welcoming. The room was nicely re-furbished but did not have a pull out bed so we had a roll away that was VERY uncomfortable....the next night I put extra duvets over the inadequate mattress and it was ok for the 9 year old princess ( and the pea). The room and hotel were very clean and beds and linen comfortable. We were able to enjoy fireworks at 10 pm from our room we were on the 5 th floor. They have not installed safes in the newly refurbished rooms. The indooor and outdoor pool area was nice but the hot tub was tepid and jets were not working, the sauna was also out of order. The breakfast buffet was very good but the "free" one at Fairfield hotels would have been adequate. The buffet was NOT available on Monday morning.
Location was great. Easy walk to the falls through the Clifton Park area OR there is a WEGO stop just across the street in front of Dennys.
We found the front desk personnel quite helpful with all of our questions. The hotel does not provide housekeeping services during our 2 night stay but will bring additional towels. It was annoying to have pay for parking! And to calls it "falls view" may not be true. We were on floor 5 and had no view...spoke to people on the 9th floor and they said they could see "spray" but not falls.
The hotel served our needs. If we were to go again I would definitely stay at one of the hotels that had a view of the falls!
I am not sure the niche that Court Yard brand is trying to reach. The rooms are not a large as Fairfields, Spring Hill Suites or Residence Inns and no free breakfast ( which saves $$$). The Courtyard is not as luxurious as a Marriott which in our experience has always had very nice public areas and outstanding services.

Not impressed with the property or customer service, so happy we decided on just one night. Upon arrival we did no get greeted, or informed that there was a charge for parking. Before dinner we decided to shower, the shower would not drain! The hotel is very outdated and the bathroom mirror is outside of the bathroom and very dark with little lighting. The TV signal is atrocious and super blurry so we could not relax and watch a movie. The pillow case had mascara and makeup on it from the previous guest. For a Courtyard I was not impressed. The only perk was breakfast the next morning, the gentleman at the omelette station was super kind and welcoming. Upon check out no greeting again, please teach your employees to ask how was your stay. Will not be returning.

I don't know. Best to call the hotel directly.
We had a King room with jetted jacuzzi and mini fridge.
The credit card that you used to secure your reservation with your booking agent will be the same one the Marriott will request as soon as you reach front desk in the Lobby. At this time they will require the full amount of it was not prepaid. It will also be charged a security deposit on the spot to ensure damages if discovered by Housekeeping. This security deposit will be refunded back to your card within 7 days at the latest with as little time as same day check out.
It sure is, but the hot tub was out as of late January.
We were there on a week day so did not make advance
reservations and we did not have trouble getting a room.
Most hotels have a cancellation policy so I would check
their policy.
