Hotel's Favourite
If a clean, comfortable room in a great location is more important than frills and pampering, this is the perfect hotel.
The price is 1/2 of most in the area. Rooms do not have a refrigerator, microwave. TV is basic via digital antenna. Parking is NOT included and costs $20 CDN.
That said, at around $110 CND/night you get the following:
Rooms are simple but have modern furnishings.
Clean (extremely): Even the carpet passed the "white-sock-test". After going shoeless for the evening, minimal dirt on new white socks.
Close to falls: 5-10min walk to the Incline Railway (that takes you up/down to falls and Queen Victoria Park)
25 min walk to Clifton Park
Walking distance (less than 20 mins) to restaurants, a casino, Starbucks and of course -- a Tim Hortons. *Zappi's (same parking lot) makes excellent pizza!
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Renee met us upon check in and was very friendly & helpful describing directions & information to surrounding places. We had room 361 on the 3rd floor which was a walk-up, no elevator. The room was clean & big but you can hear the road noise & noises from the other rooms, very thin walls. The price was good for the time of year, in between Xmas & New Years. There is no fridge or microwave in the room but can be added for approx. $10 or more a day extra, most hotels have these for free. I would probably stay here again depending on the price.

Response from Rodeway_Fallsview, General Manager at Rodeway Inn Fallsview
Responded 14 Jan 2020
Thank you for taking the time to review our property based on your recent stay . As we are an older property we are not able to equip all rooms with microwaves and fridges due to the electrical which is VERY common here in Niagara Falls. We do have a microwave available for all guests at no charge located on our second floor next to our ice machine for future reference. Once again we thank you for our feedback and look forwards to welcoming you back again in the future.

This was the first time I stayed at the Rodeway Inn in Niagara Falls, and it was great. Check-in was so quick. The staff at check-in and check out are very nice. I stayed in the 3 floor tower and really have no complaints at all. The room was on the 3rd floor facing the entrance to the property parking. Large spacious rooms. Mine had a nice King Size bed that was very comfortable, and there was a pullout couch as well. The bathroom was normal size and the water pressure for a shower was spot on after out walking around The Falls. The bed was comfy! I was attending a concert at the brand new OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino that's at the back of the Hilton Fallsview so the walk was only like 5 minutes. Ice machine is located on the 2nd floor. To get into the hotel tower you are given a code to enter that will unlock the door. My overall stay was great and you can bet I will stay here again when I comeback to attend any events. Rates you cannot go wrong with. I paid $95 for the night on a Saturday. Zappi's Pizza is right in front of the hotel, decent pizza but a bit pricey.

Place was empty (due to covid) we had issues getting our key to work, changed rooms but toilet leaked from bottom so moved to third room and that worked. Pool was closed as we were told they were waiting for the okay to open yet neighbouring motel had open pool. The people working there did their best but the issues outweighed some of their genuine concern for our stay. Room was nice and clean but outdated. Close to falls but a long walk from the action.

Booked a room for my family based on the location, the fact there was a restaurant on site for breakfast and a heated outdoor pool.
The restaurant closed down and there is only a pizza place located on the same site that does not serve breakfast. The pool was closed, didn't even have any water in it.
Rooms were clean, no smell and there were enough towels for all of us. Hall was quiet and we were on the 1st floor.
Disappointed considering what the website has listed as amenities.

This place is a pigsty! From the moment you walk into the lobby is very visible. The couches look like they came from the side of the road ready to go to the dump, covered with barn, blankets, scratches and holes. I wouldn’t let my dogs sit on them let alone a human being., we requested to see the rooms because of the look of the lobby. They said absolutely not. We said we wanted our money back. They said absolutely not the guy the front desk was very rude. They said to call expedia.ca and we did and they didn’t help us at all. We lost out on $260, we went back in a half an hour later and started filming and asked to see the room again. He immediately got up, let us to our room the whole place smell like mould the rugs were stained. There were ants crawling on the furniture and the rugs there are no blankets on the bed whatsoever only Sheets it look like a five-year-old made the beds, it looks like the last review was posted 2011 this place is so outdated this is 2024 they treat their clients like crap and take advantage of you! Go somewhere else highly recommend go elsewhere!!

If this review was based only on the people working there it would be a five star review. The staff we interfaced with were very friendly and extremely helpful for our entire stay- particularly Ayush and Ashalin.
Having said that, the place itself has seen better days and feels a little worn down. However the room was very clean and the woman cleaning the rooms was also very friendly and the place was spotless when she was done.
Despite the place being old, the location is great as it's a short walk to the falls and the bus stops if you are off to see other attractions.
Given the price we paid, bang for buck - it's more like a five star rating
We stayed there some years ago also and at that time there was a very good and inexpensive breakfast buffet. I have no idea why they stopped that as the dining room itself is still there.
I mentioned it to the manager and he said other people had said the same thing and that he too is hoping that it returns. Hopefully it will be there again for our next trip where we will once again be staying at the Rodeway Inn.

Don’t waste your hard earned money. I will give it 5 stars for the location but if there is anything below 0 for the rest of the stuff I wouldn’t hesitate to give it. This hotel is not clean at all. Rooms are smelly and insects crawling on the bed and window sills… the rooms don’t look like the pictures on their website.
We stayed for two nights, if we had time to switch to another hotel, we would have definitely done that.
When we pointed this out to the people at the reception during checkout, they didn’t care, they said we’ll let house keeping know. Rooms weren’t clean at all plus the sofa bed and carpets are so dirty and smelly! We paid $420 for two nights, I was expecting the rooms to be at least clean. See the pictures.

I made a reservation through a 3rd party app at this hotel for Canada Day weekend. When I arrived at the hotel they said they had no record of my reservation, even after I showed them my confirmation email. After initially claiming they "would take care of everything" they proceeded to tell me they wouldn't do anything to help me and I couldn't stay at their hotel as they we're fully booked (even though I had an email confirming my reservation), which left us with nowhere to stay as it was 7pm on Canada day and all other hotels in the area were also fully booked.

Great (outdated) hotel! Clean, safe, and great /cheap breakfast!
Easy (10 min) walk to and from the falls.
The hotel is basic. VERY clean! The rooms have a full bathroom, and a vanity wth sink outside of the bathroom. That was very convenient for 4 girls sharing a room.
I have recommended this place to several friends already, and will stay there again!
We visited the Italian restaurant lots of reviews mentioned, as it's in the parking lot. I would not go back. Pizza was good, but not great. Service, on a not too busy day was not great. Not sure why everyone recommended the Italian place.

Parking is an additional fee which can be paid at check in
All rooms are equipped with in room coffee makers and condiment packages. We also have an onsite restaurant for your other caffeine and beverage needs.
Yes I believe it's $10 for the stay but as Choice Hotels have changed everything about their properties (they took away 20 years of our reward points because we missed a 2 day window) I don't know if that's changed. We don't use it any more because we just booked a Best Western Fallsview for $20 less a night than Rodeway.
Unfortunately at this time we do not offer laundry services.
