A decent hotel if you arent concerned about views or distance to main sights. Well priced for a convenient overnight stay, approximately 20minute walk outside of the main area but inly a fee minutes by taxi, also easy to reach bus terminal for travel back to toronto. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Stayed here labour day weekend. Check-in is 3pm however they were NOT ready. Multiple people were sat around waiting for their rooms in the lobby, we didn't get into ours until 3:45 and in the end they didn't even give us the room we were supposed to be assigned to so clearly it still wasn't ready. No daily servicing of the room I assume because of covid still, however I can't help but think this plays into their inability to have the rooms ready on time. No apologies from the staff no offer of anything as compensation. Despite saying card wouldn't be charged for the deposit I was in fact charged for deposit. This was late refunded but that's quite besides the point they very clearly say the card will not be charged. We had a second floor, Riverview room. Rooms are quite dated but pretty spacious and comfortable. Balcony was spacious with view of the river, you could see the American falls if you leaned over the balcony a bit. Chairs on the balcony were absolutely filthy, not of spiders and masaive spider webs on the balcony. Didn't use the pool amenities so can't comment, they were open though. Only one ice machine was working luckily we were only one floor away. We asked for a late checkout they could only offer us one hour, night staff was either new or unknowledgeable cuz it was quite a back and forth about this. They don't have a stabdard practice for holding luggage after checkout and seems up to the whims of whoever is working the front desk, the lobby is pretty big they would do well to add a small luggage room for luggage before check-in and after checkout. In the end we paid $30 to get a late checkout of 3pm. In my opinion they should have offered us that late checkout for free given that they were not ready for us to check in when we got there and it's unlikely that they needed that specific room anyway as it was a holiday Monday and I doubt they were having as many check in as check outs. This was definitely a chance for them to redeem themselves for earlier missteps. They offer breakfast for additional cost, we did not partake so can't speak to the quality. They could have offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience of not being ready for check-in which they also chose not to do another missed customer service opportunity.
There is a southbound we go stop next door at bird kigdom which is great if you are coming in by bus but no north bound we go stop which was annoying when leaving.
Overall it was fine, I would stay here again if I found another good priceline deal but would never be my first choice at regular pricing.

I had a staff member knocking at my door at 9am asking me what time I was leaving so she could clean the room (check out was at 11am). Internet was horrible.
I had requested a river view room, but the room I got I could only see the street.

We stayed for just a one night getaway in February on a Monday night. The room was very clean, two comfortable Queen beds and I would say pretty recently renovated. The property has seen some new windows and room renovations since Travelodge took it over a few years back. Did have to pay for parking at fifteen a night however as it's so close to the falls, Clifton Hill, and the original Casino it's worth it especially since the room was very reasonably priced.
Staff were friendly and helpful always. Pool was 80 degrees and the hot tub was hot! Yeah! Lots of towels in the pool area too. Breakfast is extra and not available weekdays in the winter so we headed down Queen Street to country fresh doughnuts for a western, coffee and made there doughnuts, so good and I hardly ever have a doughnut but these are worth it.
Will stay again.

We asked for a renovated room, double queen with river view when booking and were told it was almost impossible because those rooms booked up first. So we adjusted our expectations to one of the older rooms. Upon arrival, the young woman at the desk was able to find a renovated double queen right across from the river where the ferries are so the view was gorgeous and we were also able to see the American Falls, and the mist from the Horseshoe Falls. Stunning! The American Falls changed colours at night. My kids loved it! The hotel is being renovated so some areas are older and some updated. The pool is older but quite clean, water a little cloudy but ample towels and we had it to ourselves so that was a bonus. The hotel was a short 6 min walk to Clifton Hill and all the excitement, but in a quiet area so you don’t have the noise. There was ample parking. The checkin and check out staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing took more than 5 minutes. The hotel buffet was good and well priced only $12.99 for adults, $10.99 for kids. There was something to please even picky eaters of which I have two. And the lady and her daughter who run it were delightful to speak with, funny and always had hot fresh coffee in their hands. Just a lovely experience. The only drawback was the « guys weekend » crowd staying there at the same time that drank and talked in the halls. But they quieted down at night and we slept fine. My kids and I loved it.

Stayed there for one night, and have to say the place is clean and the staff are friendly. But....
The bed was so soft it offers no support for a good sleep and when I woke the following morning with a head like thunder and was sick more than once that morning. Be that I don’t smoke or drink I can only put this down to the air con/heating system.
I tried several times to connect to the Wi-fi which is extremely poor Signal in the room, went to reception and there was no signal there.
I am only scoring this hotel half a star and not 1

Where do I start? The building is old and dated, we were given a first floor room from which the view of the river (which is paid more for) is obstructed. the street is loud and anyone passing by in the street can see straight into your room. Keep the curtains drawn, you say? The lighting in the room leaves much to be desired. Dirty, old and stained lampshades in only one corner, or on the chipped and scraped desk in the corner gave minimal light. The $3 chairs that are damaged (and ugly) on the balcony made it unusable, which was such a waste. The bathroom had one shampoo and scratchy small towels (a facecloth and a floor-mat, so 3 in total). When we inquired about conditioner ar the front desk we were told and I quote “it’s a 2-1, trust me, they’re going to relabel them someday”. the shower pressure was poor and the ceiling of the shower was so low my husband almost didn’t fit in there. The toilet paper was see through and we had just the half used roll on the wall for a 3 day stay.
The dated wallpaper and border were peeling, scratched and looked faded and dirty. The carpet was so unappealing I wore shoes the whole time in my room. The TV was in a creamy old display case that had been repainted so many times you could see the different shades of paint on the opposites sides of it. The batteries in the dirty remote had exploded and we had to call to get new ones from the maid.
A bright spot was the obviously new duvets, but other than that, it was a total write off. We will never stay again and you should avoid it too.

We planned a weekend trip with our little ones. 20month and 3 year old. The room and hotel was super outdated and very old beat up furniture. The Ac was super loud and kept us up the first night every time it turned on and off. Second night we decided to keep it off and risk the heat. The Tv was super low quality and every show was super low quality and blurry. We had zero chairs on the balcony to sit and enjoy. With zero continental breakfast or breakfast offered this was very over priced for the updates and service you get. The location was great though, great for walk to the main strip and falls.

We arrived to a warm welcome by the receptionist. Since we arrived early, she immediately allocated a stay-ready room because ours was not ready which was very touching. We were disappointed though with the breakfast. It seemed to be on the counter for too long. Most disappointing was coffee was not included with breakfast and we had to pay.

We got a king room with hot tub. $119/night through booking.com plus taxes and fees for 5 nights. We had to pay an additional $15/night for parking! Ridiculous.
The furnishings, bathroom, walls, and wall decor were very outdated.
The bed was comfy.
Housekeeping staff were super friendly
Upon checkout we waited a bit to get acknowledged because the front desk guy was sleeping in the office behind the desk.

We stayed on the 2nd or 3rd floor (can't remember exactly now) and couldn't see the falls. We saw the river over to our left on the balcony, but looking straight ahead it was the big Bird Kingdom building along with other buildings. It's a city view more so than river view, but you still see the river. It's not the greatest view, but your balcony might overlook the river better than ours did and have a more enjoyable view.
