Amazing 66' by 30' 82° Swimming Oasis Fitness Center. Close to Cadillac Motel. Both give the warmest Welcome in Niagara Falls Ontario. Walking into the Lobby we were met by the most radiant and gregarious General Manager and Conciere Ever. We booked four separate rooms over four different days from November 10 to the 14 th. With Business Conference during the Day,it was lovely to unwind with lap swimming for hours at night. We all enjoyed the fragrant scent of Cedar as we relaxed in the Sauna to imagine that we were back in Jamaica on the pristine beaches. There are 4 floors to walk up from the front or if zero flight of stairs to handle, just having a room on the second floor with the pool and free breakfast room on the same level is great. Two Queen beds have medium soft spring coils so tossing in bed will avoid waking your Loved one. Newly renovated rooms are ongoing since New Owners bought River Rapids 1946 Building in 2016. Mine was all freshly laid ceramic tiles throughout the Bathroom with gorgeous luxury linens and towels. Plush rug throughout dining table area. 40" Samsung TV with dozens of Air Channels from Buffalo. CTV, Global, City TV Canadian channels including CNN and Fox with TSN sports. Breakfast items included are, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, raisin, whole wheat and white breads can be toasted. Bagels and cream cheese. 3 plus dry cereals with milk. Assorted yogurt. Banana apple and clementines. Orange, and Apple Juice. Coffee and Tea with creamettes or milk.

We come to the Falls often but usually choose hotels with higher stars... Took a chance on this one and we were so glad we did! Travis at the front desk was so welcoming and immediately I knew we'd have a great stay. Our room wasn't fancy but was incredibly clean, and really large. The hotel was nice and quiet, our balcony and view were great, and the included breakfast in the morning had a good variety of hot and cold items. The staff in the eating area worked hard continually cleaning tables and surfaces, it was good to see. Parking was also included, and there was a pool. Keurig pods in the room were a nice touch, and great that they had decaf! 100% will stay again.

Decided after months of isolation to take a little last minute getaway. Booked a Thursday and Friday night. Staff was lovely and accommodating. The rooms were simple yet clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the linens crisp and clean. Parking included in the great price and a simple breakfast was hung on our door each morning. A slice of a muffin type loaf, a fruit, a yogurt and a juice. Definitely enough to keep you going to start your day. The pool could definitely use a refresh but the temperature of both the water and the air was perfect and there was a large selection of towels available. Not “on the strip” but perfectly appointed for the value. I would definitely come back.

My girlfriend and I chose to go to the River Rapids Inn due to price and convenience! We arrived for two nights and everyone was so wonderful! The lady who owns/manages the hotel was very nice and made the stay perfect! The hotel is along the river and provides views of the river and The States on the other side. Going in winter time during non peak dates allows for a super quiet and very enjoyable stay. It's only five minutes away from Clifton Hill and is perfect for being so close to entertainment! The indoor pool was a nice feature and they even have a sauna! Perfect for a day out of the cold! The rooms are super spacious! The entire hotel was super clean and very well maintained! There is breakfast included with the stay and is perfect! Great food! Thank you, River Rapids Inn for such a wonderful stay for my girlfriend and I!

Great value for a hotel close to Niagara Falls. Scenic location. Reasonable walk to the Falls. Awesome staff. Good breakfast. If you don’t like climbing stairs then get a ground floor room and you will also be able to park outside your door. Rooms are somewhat dated but clean. Power outlets are limited so bring a power bar along for more options.

Heat was not working and we paid for a 4th floor with balcony and breakfast - we were given a third floor room and there was no breakfast - they only had water bottles and yoghurt.
Upon check in they did not tell us that there would be no
Actual breakfast.
Renovations on 4th floor.
Pass on the Butterfly Conservatory - it only took 15 minutes to go through and cost 37 dollars for two.

We stayed at River Rapids Inn on Canada day and had a really pleasant stay. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They had many covid precautions in place and they seemed to genuinely care about the wellbeing of both themselves as staff and you as a guest. It was their first night reopened and as they weren’t as busy they upgraded us to a king room for free!
Due to covid we only stayed in our room and didn’t really check out the other common areas. Even then you can tell the hotel could use a little face lift, but honestly we stayed in the Hilton over looking the falls the night before and the only thing it really had on River Rapids was the view.
I would definitely recommend River Rapids Inn. Great for families, couples, and solo travel (the price was right). Especially great if you want to see what the falls have to offer and what NOTL is like (as its right in between).

Thank you KellyJ5555 for your fabulous score and king review about our hotel It was built in 1942 and did have a face lift in 2016 when it was purchased. We love the quirkiness of our hotel and wouldn't change a thing

We stayed 3 nights the end of August and there are some good and not so good things to review.
On the good side, i liked the location, its away from the noise of downtown. The WEGO bus stop is a 4 minute walk. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and were very clean (except for the windows, yuck!) the halls and stairways are all clean and tidy.
The breakfast is average, with sausage and scrambled eggs (depending on when you get there the eggs will be less than appealing) ...there is a waffle maker plus many other items.
Now, on the not so good side, first to mention is the scandalous $20 parking fee, yes they warn you ahead of time but the only reason for this fee is its a cash grab, that is just downright nasty (yes hotels in Niagara Falls do charge but here it is only to siphon more cash out of your pocket). Next there is no coffee maker in the rooms and to make that worse you are not allowed to take food or drinks out of the breakfast room, so no morning coffee relaxing in your room, that's just miserable, The rooms are large but extremely bland, a few bright pictures would help. There was no comfortable seating at all, just a couple of desk chairs ....this was extremely difficult for my wife who has severe back issues. And if you have neighbors above or beside you, know you will be hearing their conversations, the walls are that thin, so be aware.
And one final thing there is an e-bike for rent at $75 for 4 hours, that is if you have any money left! We would definitely not return

Just back from our nine day stay here, hotel is a bit out of the way not much around shopping centre which just sells gifts is just up the road and the hungry moose food court, these were both only open until 4pm as a lot of places close early after labour day, so we went into town every day. There is also down town about a 15min walk up the road which we only discovered a couple of days before we left. My advice is to google the area to find out whats open, we also used the local pizza takeaway a couple of times which was very good. The hotel its self is fine large rooms comfy beds and decent sized bathroom my only gripe is that it was not cleaned very often and bedding was never changed while there. Would like to give a shout out to Greg from reception who worked the back shift lovely friendly and very helpful guy. Also very nice staff who work in the breakfast bar apart from one girl who insisted we put plastic gloves on to get our breakfast one morning never had to do that with any of the other staff, think it was way over the top especially when a girl put the cooked waffles in container with her bare hands and very fancy nail art lol. So overall okay but wouldnt stay here again if i ever returned to Niagara.

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The hygiene standards are far below what any guest should expect. Upon my arrival, I found the room in an unacceptable state—dirty bed sheets, carpets with a terrible odor, and even spiders, one on the window and another near the door. Although I couldn’t capture photos of the spiders, I did manage to upload pictures of the overall poor condition of the room. Even after requesting a room change, the new room was equally unclean. Unable to stay in such an environment, I left immediately.
This experience was deeply uncomfortable. Based on my experience, I can confidently say that this hotel does not meet basic cleanliness standards. If you value a clean and hygienic environment, I strongly suggest choosing a different hotel.
