Stayed here for one night while in town for hockey. Hotel room was clean and quiet. Easy access to the highway. Only thing that would be better was if they had tea/coffee in the lobby and breakfast included. But otherwise, I would stay here again if I were in the area.

My daughter and I stayed here with her cheer team and the girls were thrilled to find a welcome sign and personalized water bottles waiting for them in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and clean and were equipped with fridge and microwave. The breakfast was fabulous - lots of healthy options and a chef to prepare personalized requests. The pool area was well-maintained as well. Overall, this is a fabulous hotel that I would highly recommend!

The hotel with Kingsize bed and handicap accessible was nice and spacious. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The fan was quiet and although being near the highway, it was very quiet in the room. Coffee was available and amenities were plentiful including shower cap. Work station was very comfortable and internet connection was excellent. Iphone connection on night table. This room even had a sofa and a side chair. Shower for handicap was only available for handheld which made it difficult to wash ones hair. Both fridge and microwave were available. Handicap parking was relatively close to the main entrance. Easy connections to highways.

Upon arrival, Digital keypad or the Digital key did not work, had to go back down to front desk to get key card and because it was a yellow light, front desk person had to come with me back to the room to make sure no one was in room, which in all took another 15 mins just to get into our room. Then when we got into the room the temperature was 27 Degrees Celsius, I thought we could cool it off as the air wasn’t on, but it was on, it just didn’t work, went down to front desk and they said maintenance will fix it in the morning as there is no maintenance staff available in evening. Woke up at 3 am, it was so hot I thought I was sleeping in a tent in the middle of July, room was 28.5 degrees. Propped door to hallway opened as the hallway was cool and room was so hot no one could sleep. Slept with door wide open to cool room off, decided to compromise safety and privacy for comfort as we needed to get some sleep. Maintenance came and said that it was fixed. The warmest it got was 25 degrees for the next two nights they made some type of adjustment, however there was clearly still a problem as they could only shaved off a few degrees. However still too hot.

Thought of asking to change rooms, but we were so busy we were gone all day and then when we got back we just wanted to crash, we dealt with it, however seemed more like an overpaid camping trip compared to the comforts one might receive when paying $150 per night. Hilton quality.it was not.

As a health care professional that works daily in a Cancer Centre and deals with lung cancer patients, I may be a little biased. I wish i didn’t have to give this hotel a 1 star. However, I didn’t know how else to get this hotel to make some changes. The hotel website does not advertise that they have a smoking room. Unless you specifically look for this detail, you assume that the entire hotel is smoke free. My room was located on the second floor. It reeked of cigarette smoke the whole weekend. Additionally, on Friday January 10th in the evening, the 2nd and 3rd floor hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. Numerous people complained to front desk regarding the cigarette smoke, including myself, however it was met with indifference. In fact, I was told that the ‘smoking’ room hadn’t been used in over 2 weeks.
Unfortunately, I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Having stayed in many Hilton properties in North America, the UK and Europe, I was pleasantly surprised to find an excellent Hilton Garden Inn in my hometown of Burlington, Ont. The hotel is just off the QEW and Burloak Drive and has reasonable, competitive prices. My wife and I felt very safe at this hotel during COVID with the steps the staff has taken. The hotel was spotless and very inviting. We were disappointed we were unable to use the pool and whirlpool area and fitness room due to government restrictions but look forward to a time when we can on a future visit. The Hotel can accommodate large or small group events. Staff was very pleasant handling my phone calls and questions during our stay. Mahesh, the front desk staff member was particularly friendly and helpful. I was looking forward to the full breakfast at their restaurant but with restrictions, we were provided with a nice continental breakfast. I would certainly recommend this Hilton property as an excellent choice for any type of stay in Burlington.

This stay was plagued by a growing list of broken features, and a demeaning interaction with a host in the breakfast restaurant. However, the problem was handled brilliantly by an extraordinarily caring front desk staff member who facilitated our early move to a better hotel to complete our stay.

Broken items were:
(1) hot tub, surrounded with yellow caution tape. A major disappointment as this was the feature that promped our choice of this hotel.

(2) a broken elevator, or at least one with a 'do not use' sign. However, the 'broken' elevator still initially opened when I hit the call button, which prevented the second 'non-broken' elevator from opening. I had to board the broken elevator temporarily and send it to a higher floor just to get it out of the way, so the functioning 'non-broken' elevator's doors would open.

(3) TV worked in the evening, but failed to respond to the remote in the morning. A swapping of remotes did not help.

(4) The exceptional desk staff member initially comped us breakfast due to our troubles. But when my family visited the restaurant and tried clarifying what items in HGI's three-tier breakfast pricing would be comped, I was demeaned by the host during bill payment who made a very loud and embarrassing display of "see, you don't owe us anything". I signed and walked out, embarrassed and disgusted.

I then proceeded to the desk and asked the very kind desk staff member to accommodate us at the partner property next door (also Hilton), which she obliged with tremendous friendliness and efficiency. Thank goodness she was there to cushion an otherwise disastrous (1 night of 4 reserved) stay.

Our room was very spacious we had the jacuzzi tub loved it! The room was very clean. Hotel staff were all extremely professional and friendly. Restaurant food was great and servers were amazing. We had a late night wedding so we slept in past breakfast. The manager stepped up and provided us with orders of toast, lots of peanut butter and jelly and fresh coffee. That was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. Location is perfect very close to downtown and highway connections. Highly recommend this hotel we will be back!

We spent the night at the hotel after attending an event there. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable.

During the event the manager pand the chef were on hand, circulating ,greeting guests and checking to make sure they lacked for nothing. The staff was friendly, attentive and efficient without being intrusive.

It was a very positive experience and we want to thank them for their kindness.

All staff we encountered were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had good options. Easy access from highway. Good value for a short stay. Room was very clean but was bit musty and smelled a little funky as if it was recently sprayed with a cleaning solution though. Could use few minor repairs - squeaky bathroom door, caulking on the tub spout, etc.

Yes, it does have a restaurant and bar, Garden Grille and Bar is small but qaint. Try the daily's chef's specials or these favorites of mine Teruyaki ginger salmon (for $25.00 CDN) or the Grilled pork chops ($20.00 CDN) Also, this hotel is next door the the Ontario Wine Country (better then French or California wines) Hotel between Niagara Falls and Toronto. Enjoy
