Hotel's Favourite
This was a great find - a great location, spacious and comfortable accommodation and very friendly staff. Would definitely book again!
It's located within a 5 (or less) minute walk to the base of the slopes but is just behind the hotels which are immediately around the base area. For us, this was perfect because it was a quieter location (base station is fantastic for grabbing a drink at one of it's 3 main bars with great music in all 3, but can be more noisy if you're staying just above them). There is direct easy street access to the locker rooms as well as a very nice small gym and Jacuzzi.
The rooms are very spacious and we've heard that other hotel rooms are much smaller so it was very comfortable and allowed us to spread out as well as get together on an evening with a pizza and some beers.
We were in a mezzanine suite with very comfortable beds and a kitchenette with lounge and dining table downstairs. This was very handy and would highly recommend it.
There is also a fab cafe just behind the hotel which was the perfect spot for breakfast (they make the best crepes and waffles!!) and the hotel also has a nice gym and jacuzzi which unfortunately we didn't get to use because there was too much else going on.
Overall, would recommend this accommodation for its location and comfort.

We have been provided with the best service. I will strongly recommend this place for people of low to medium budget and specially families as this property is smoke friendly and provides wonderful hospitality and cleanliness services. Another best part is the location, it’s located right inside the whistler village and accessible to bungee jumping bride by whistler bungee as well.

Whistler Village Inn & Suites is in the best location! It is a couple of blocks from the Lifts and all the stores and great restaurants. The room was great! There was a small kitchen, a Queen bed in a loft, another Queen Murphy bed, plus a pull out couch. The beds were super comfortable! The outdoor pool and hot tub were a fun addition!
There is a grocery store a couple of blocks away so you can prepare breakfasts and lunches in your room. This is the ideal hotel for skiing in Whistler\Blackcomb. The rooms are smaller than in Sundial across the circle, but cost loads less. I will stay here every time I visit!
Make sure to call ahead of time and they will help you arrange the bus ride from the airport in Vancouver.

We stayed for two nights as Whistler was transitioning from Covid 19 shutdown. Karen and David at the front desk were very informative as to what restaurants were open and which weren't. Our room was spotless . All the plates , pots ,pans ,utensils had just been through dishwashing cycle.
No issues with cleanliness. Well documented as to what their staff are doing to maintain the hotel during Covid 19.
The Hotels location in the town center is excellent, everything is a short walk.

The unit itself was in a very convenient location and is equipped with a fireplace (I recommend you bring your own wood) three beds, and a fully equipped kitchen. I was also allowed to check in early so that was great.
The only thing I did not like was the towels and pillowcases had some stains on it. I don't doubt that they have been washed, they just had stains so I had to keep looking for ones without stains.

The hotel is very conveniently located in Whistler Village, a few minutes walk from the bus stop and near the grocery store. I could see their housekeeping staff keeping everything sanitised as much as possible. Very easy check in and check out process. We will definitely stay here again!

The superior loft suite was perfect and spacious for all our stuff that we were traveling with. It had a full kitchen but unfortunately it wasn't very well equipped for all the cooking we were planning on doing. We liked the patio and view to the mountains. It would have been great if the patio furniture was clean but it didn't take too long for me to do so no problem.
They were having problems with internet and there was no wifi anywhere in the building. After walking to another hotel to hook up to internet for few days the lovely lady at the front desk offered us a refund of one night as compensation for the lack of internet during our stay. I thought it was a very generous offer and really appreciated it. While I don't generally care if we have housekeeping during a 3 night stay this time it was a bit strange game of me taking our kitchen garbage out to the housekeeping garbage pail in the hallway and picking up a new bag from the trolley. The cleaners equipment was all over the hallway all day long yet I never saw or heard anyone anywhere. Maybe it was due to Covid that there was no housekeeping but in that case I would have liked a larger garbage can with a lid. As it was we filled it every day and had to find a way to empty it. All in all we had a great time at Whistler and enjoyed our time at Whistler Village Inn.

This was my first time staying at Whistler Village Inn. I thought it was an old property, therefore didn't expect too much. I chose it because it's close to the gondola. However it turned out to be an amazing experience and everything exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. I requested a kettle at check-in. When we moved our luggage into the room, a brand new kettle is there waiting for us. The room is spacious, and there is a larger than usual refrigerator in the room as well. Plus it has a lovely patio to get out for some fresh air. In addition, the parking lot is just adjacent to the lobby which is super convenient so we don't need to take any elevator. A pleasant surprise is ski lockers - not only at a convenient location, free for use, it also big enough to put two skis, helmets and poles. I've stayed in Whistler a few times this season at different properties, and would love to come back to Whistler Village Inn on my next stay. Thanks to all the staff for keeping the property nice, clean and friendly during the challenging time! Cindy

This place is INFESTED with silverfish and bugs!!!!!!!
My girlfriend and I booked a one night stay at the resort. After we came back from dinner, we found tons of silverfish in the bathroom floor. We tried to kill them but many got away. We notified front desk to switch rooms but they were fully booked. One of the guys at the front desk offered to spray Raid (bug spray) in our bathroom. When he did that, he found more swarming around and left our place smelling like chemicals. Girlfriend and I moved to the upper part of the loft where the bed is. We thought the bugs couldn't reach us there. But lone and behold, we encountered more silverfish crawling up the bedroom wall the following morning.
We asked the manager for compensation for the room, as we were uncomfortable staying there and the place reeked of chemicals. However, he refused to compensate us for the room.
I wouldn't recommend anyone booking this hotel. Apart from the bugs, the carpet has blood stains, there are stains all over the toilet and you can hear EVERYONE in the hallway and other suites (the walls are paper thin).. This place is really filthy. AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!

We wanted to apologize that we let you down as a customer and that silverfish were present in your room. I wanted to ensure you that we took your comments very seriously and of course if we had a vacant room that night we would have moved you right away. I have gone through your finding with both our housekeeping and maintenance teams. We have also consulted with our pest control company and placed the room out of order. I do not want to limit the scope of the problem, however. Silverfish are a bug like any other bug they enter homes, apartments and hotels through pipe and drains. That being said we do have the highest level of housekeeping standards as evident through our overall quality scores. We do hope that you will return and allow us to win back your trust. If you would like to talk with me personally, please give me a call at 604-932-4004. We don't always get things right but we do try our very best to make things better.

This hotel is in a central location in Whistler and you can pretty much get to where you want to go in the village without a car. Our Queen Loft room was clean and spacious and had all the amenities that we needed including a kitchenette. We found the bed and pillows comfortable and they made for a good night's sleep. The staff of the hotel were very professional and friendly and did their best for the guests even with all the limitations brought about by COVID-19. We found the furniture to be a little dated but it wasn't really a problem. If we have any constructive criticisms, it would be for the hotel to fix up the kitchen drawers and cabinet doors as they were a little loose, touch up caulking in the bathroom, and to replace the very low toilet. I'm 5'5" and found the toilet to be too short so imagine my taller husband's consternation when he tried to sit on the toilet. My husband is 6'1" and he remarked that he had never seen a toilet so low to the ground before. Overall, however, we had a nice stay.

It's a crap shoot at Thanksgiving as too snow at the village level. I would bank on a no. It's a wee bit too early for that.
We do not offer breakfast, however our central location offers many great breakfast choices within a short walking distance.
yes, we do.
yes, we have an elevator in the building
