I stayed at the Fairmont for one night over the December holidays. I wasn't blown away by the hotel, but I also didn't hate it. Pros: Great location, nice staff, large rooms, great rate that includes parking for Washington State residents, Cons: Noise from adjacent rooms

Donand - there are plenty of Cafes within 500m walking distance to suit every pocket. One of the best Japanese restaurant I have ever eaten in life is walking distance from Fairmont. It is behind Hyatt. I am forgetting the name but think it was Rue 909 Sushi. Then there is cafe at the crossing while going towards the water front. Again forgetting the name though.

What is the best way to get to Vancouver Airport?
I always go by sky train to the airport. It is the fastest and easiest route through the city centre. It’s difficult if you have a lot of luggage, though.
