The Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre has garnered praise for its clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, set against the backdrop of a welcoming atmosphere adorned with modern touches. Guests appreciate the hotel's prime location, close to a variety of attractions, though some have noted the street noise. Despite commendations for professional service, there have been occasional check-in hiccups and room amenity issues. However, the hotel's value perception is tarnished by steep charges, high parking fees, and pricey breakfast options, alongside inconveniently located amenities.

We stayed here for four days before driving on to Sun Peaks North east of Kamloops.
The location of this hotel is great for exploring Vancouver it’s not far to walk to downtown Vancouver to all the shops bars and restaurants, the staff were very friendly and the concierge service was excellent. We only had breakfasts which was located in the North tower a short walk across the sky bridges from the South tower, a great range of breakfasts and very good food although quite expensive, but of course this isn’t Denny’s Dinner!! Whilst at the hotel is snowed heavily for a number of days and the staff worked tirelessly to keep the reception and walkway areas clear, we were on the 14th floor of South tower and had a great view of the city, overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vancouver as base, great facilities, restaurant, bar, gym swimming pool and concierge service.

Well done Sheraton Vancouver! I was absolutely blown away by the fabulous customer service, food and of course the beautiful views. I arrived fairly late on a Friday evening and the front desk staff were so very welcoming. I ordered room service and a glass of wine which arrived in less than 30 minutes piping hot, fresh and tasty.
The next morning I ordered breakfast to my room and hot coffee and everything was delicious.
My checkout two days later was seamless, efficient and the young man was very friendly.
I highly recommend this beautiful property if you are considering a stay in Vancouver.
Well done Sasha (sp?) on leading a world-class hotel full of terrific team members!

We spent one night at this hotel before we set off for Whistler and were very happy with our choice! The room was small but adequate and very clean with a super comfortable bed. The highlight were the bar staff that served us at the bar on a couple of occasions for a couple glasses of wine. They made sure our day, night and following afternoon were as good as possible by making recommendations of things to do, see, and eat all within walking distance of the hotel. We loved all their suggestions and truly think they went above and beyond with the service we would hope for on a couple quick visits to the little bar. They also of course recommended the hotel restaurant which unfortunately we didn’t have time for and we really do mean unfortunately we because the breakfast menu looked large and interesting which piqued my interest as a breakfast lover. Clearly other guests could confirm this quality of breakfast as the restaurant was busy in the morning. I wish we had gotten these young folks names so we could shout them out.
The price for location was surprisingly reasonable at about $280 for the night but we did book a non-refundable room in advance. The location could not be better. We would definitely return on a stop in Vancouver again.

When it comes to high quality hotels, Vancouver offers an embarrassment of riches. We decided on the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center primarily because of its location (literally 10-20 minutes from several key downtown neighborhoods) and because I was near a points milestone on a loyalty account.

But after spending a long weekend at the property, I can say that we have found our Vancouver home - I can’t imaging staying anywhere else, even the historic hotels in the city that have been featured on the travel channel.

The Property

This is very large hotel that is part of the larger Wall Center complex. The Sheraton consists of two towers, each with slightly different amenities (for example, a hip bar is in the lobby of the one tower, but the club floor is at the top of another). The campus is slightly sprawling. You can check in at either tower, which is helpful, because we were a little discombobulated after getting off the light rail. The location is incredible central to most must see neighborhoods. Gastown is perhaps the furthest away, but it’s only a 20-minute walk through the University area.

The Room: Balcony Room on the Club Floor

If you stay at this hotel, I highly recommend you reserve a balcony room on the club floor. Why? The views of the city are outstanding! The room was snug for the two of us — parties with more people might need a different option, but this worked fine. We enjoyed started and ending our day on the balcony overlooking the entirety of the western side of downtown.

The Club Floor

The Club Lounge is a rather nice, well appointed space with an amazing rooftop deck. The lounge is well stocked throughout the day, and the meals were rather impressive and higher quality than most other lounges. Having coffee or wine on that rooftop deck is an experience that can’t be beat, even by some of the city’s finest restaurants.

I was here for a staycation for the family day holiday Monday. From the moment of walking through the South tower entrance like last time I was greeted with a beautiful smile from Margo. She is a very calm, pleasant and amazing what she does and will always go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect and to your liking. I was using a StayVancouver hotel promo that I booked through their website (they offer it a few times per year)and included in the rate/total was a $100 Visa gift card. She had to obtain the gift card from the front desk manager who was on a call and as far as waiting a bit I was fine with,, she gave me a $50 voucher to use in the Hotel Lobby’s bar and eatery next to it,, thanks so much Margo the breakfast buffet was amazing. I also got to meet the front desk manager later who was very kind and sorry he was busy at the time,,, I also interacted with Abraham,,another front desk person and he gave me a late checkout time so my wife and child could enjoy some family time in the beautiful spotless pool and hot tub,, Thanks Abraham and everyone working at both towers as they were always smiling and said hello when we walked by. The north tower has a beautiful lobby and the room like last time was spotless and beds so comfy to die for. The complimentary water was much appreciated and the toiletries are excellent. I will return back and will be a first choice when I want a stay in the center of Vancouver with nice views,

We decided to do a 1 night staycation on a Thursday as being home bound was starting to get me stir crazy .

We got a good deal off Travelzoo and chose the 1 night stay with parking and breakfast. We were assigned a room on the 18th floor. It was a decent sized room as I wasn't too fussed as it was clean and big enough for 2 for 1 night.

You can see the hotel took precaution with COVID:
Lobby cleared with seats separated more then 2 meters apart, plexiglass at check in and staff with masks, and sanitizer everywhere, including in the elevator (first I've seen). The pool was closed but the fitness centre is open but must make reservations.

The only thing is I am not used to hearing multiple sirens throughout the night. Maybe because my room faced Burrard Street. I slept ok considering, the bed is comfortable.

The breakfast included was at the restaurant in the hotel, Cafe One. It was really good as we were advised $30 each and I like to select my food, a la carte.

Location, central and able to walk to where you need to go. Get your comfy shoes on!

All in all, a great hotel. If you are a deep sleeper or used to it the sirens won't bother you.

Just returned from a four day stay in Vancouver where necessity brought me unexpectedly. Given the current widespread restrictions on travel, the choice of lodging was staggering - and many establishments are still closed, plannning to reopen only after July 1.

The occupancy runs mostly in single digits which is not enough to survive long term. On the other hand, every booked night represents incremental revenue. In times like this, we tend to go with what we know. Being Platinum member of the Marriott Bonvoy Program made me help my choice. I am pleased to report that the applicable benefits are fully honoured, and with a smile. For quite a long time, I did not feel so well taken care of as during my very recent stay.

The previous reviewers described very practical central location, modern design and upscale amenities, so of which were evidently not available, like the swimming pool and Club Lounge. No surprise there. The hotel has adjusted rather well to new reality to make sure that health and safety of the guests and staff are not compromised. A very detailed listing of the "procedure" is supplied upon arrival to each guest. I understood and got used to it fast.

Even in normal times, it is the staff that makes the biggest difference, and it is often a deal-breaker when issues of all sorts arise as they often do. There are several front line associates that I came into contact with, like Nikolay and Jesse at the reception and Chris at the restaurant. And many others whom I never saw. They are all part of this extremely well managed hotel. And my thanks go to them as I write this review.

In closing, my stay went so well that I would not hesitate a minute to return in the near future. If you are looking for quality and safe accommodation, this is it.

We spent 2 nights at the Sheraton and we were astonished by the lack of cleaning of all common areas.
With such a large building and so much traffic coming from everywhere, Sheraton’s priority should be an enhanced cleaning protocol for all common areas and especially high touch points such as elevators doors and garbage bins.
Over a period of 48 hours, we did not see any common areas clean. Garbage left full, floor was dirty, elevator with marks everywhere and large accumulation of dust showing it was not cleaned in a long time. Hand sanitizers were empty, broken and with dry drips mixed with dust and dirt. All of that made us really uncomfortable navigating around these common areas with a toddler who likes to touch everything.
It is not necessary to require everyone to wear a mask if the basic cleaning is not covered. It looks like Sheraton did lay-off a lot of their staff due to COVID but they should have been more strategic and maintain a minimum of service.
We wanted to stay there againin a few weeks but now we’re no longer sure.
The good points were definitely the front desk staff (Jesse) and the Cafe One staff, they provided outstanding customer service!

The hotel was clean and conveniently located and I had a nice view beyond the surrounding buildings of the water and mountains.
I requested a room with double beds several times (from time of booking to check in.
The room was large but basic and the washroom could use some updating. The shower door was very difficult to close.
There was daily housekeeping and water bottles in the room.
Express checkout was easy and the sole worker called a taxi for me at 2:45 am and then disappeared inside.
The north tower had the restaurant but breakfast buffet was $36 and no a la carte was available.
The courtyard was spacious and there were bus stops just outside.
It was very noisy at night with people outside and all voices and noises from the adjacent room were quite loud.

We stayed here for 5 nights after travelling from Toronto where we also stayed for 5 nights.

Check in was confusing to say the least as we were directed to another building as that was apparently where our room was. That building was definitely less modernised and very basic (even though the price we paid was certainly NOT basic and the same price as staying in the other/main block may I add!!). We had specified one king bed, in a king room, but was given 2 small queen beds which was hopeless. We asked for another room with the one bed and got told no. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and obviously meant we had to sleep apart for the 5 days we were there as the beds couldn’t be moved and they were so small to try and sleep us both in. The bathroom could have been cleaner and more modern. The shower curtain wasn’t the most appealing looking and could have just done with a good clean.

Speaking of cleaning, we had to repeatedly ask for Housekeeping and we got Housekeeping only ONCE in our 5 day stay. Not acceptable! We booked a taxi for taking us to the airport to take us home, we went outside as we hadn’t heard anything, and low and behold, no taxi was ever booked. Not acceptable!

Don’t waste your time going to the bar in the hotel either - it’s like a school canteen setting and totally unwelcoming. The bar man was incredibly rude to both myself and my partner and continued with his conversation over at a table with a guest for 15 minutes as we stood waiting at the bar to be served and he knew we were there waiting. I went over and said excuse me, sorry but can we get served please? And the look I got from his was terrible. He turned round and said “I’ll be with you shortly….” What?….another 15 minute wait?? Also, when it came to paying the bill, that was also like pulling teeth and when he eventually got us the bill, it was literally thrown at us. So so rude!

Like Toronto, I was really shocked and saddened to see the sheer amount of homeless people around the hotel and the streets beside it. Far more than Toronto and very very intimidating. People coming up to you from behind whilst you are standing at lights asking for money and not moving, people lying on the pavements shouting up for money and getting angry if you don’t have any. I even had someone following me into the garage where I went to grab some juice and was relentlessly wanting me to buy him a huge chocolate milk and a big bottle of coke. There was also homeless people using the chairs and tables right at the door of the hotel to sleep on which were obviously meant to be for guests to take their drinks outside, but not once did anyone come out from the hotel and ask them to move on. Also the steps going for the side of the building used to have people lying on them too, so there was no way we could access those either.

Sadly, it was all very unfriendly again like Toronto, no customer service and felt very unsafe walking about outside the hotel. Absolutely no way I would have walked anywhere on my own day or night and that’s really sad.

IF we ever went back to Vancouver, which I would seriously doubt, we certainly wouldn’t stay here again nor recommend it to anyone else.

The lounge has a good variety for breakfast, lots of it as well. There are also snacks and drinks during the day and small hot items at the supper hour to 8 pm. It depends on the cost of the upgrade. My opinion would be 25.00 a day pp would be reasonable. Also convenience.

North tower has nicer rooms, but in terms of view its not much view, as it is surrounded by other buildings! The views are at the hotels that are closer to the mountains towards burrard inler! Westin, and orhers near burrard inlet! Bur the sheraton is a nice hotel just not too much views! Vancouber often cloudy anyways so i would not go by the views
