This was a great hotel. We got a 3rd floor room with a spectacular view (preferred view when booked). It was really hot the week we were there and I was surprised to learn the hotel did not have air conditioning. However, I learned that Banff never gets that hot so it was not a typical week weather wise. Usually the nights cool down and you can open the patio door for a nice cool breeze. You can also request a fan from the front desk. It has a very small fridge and you can rent a microwave for $15 a night. Parking is an additional $14 a day. The bed was very comfortable and there were lots of pillows. Staff were great and very accommodating. This hotel is walking distance to the Bow Valley river and Banff Avenue. Pool area was good. They had a hot tub, cool tub, pool and a eucalyptus steam room. The gym was cramped but we walked so much we didn’t need to use the gym. Overall great hotel, highly recommend it.

A great booking agent named Annie managed to extend our stay at the last minute for our 10th anniversary, even giving us the same rate we originally booked with. She was very friendly and helpful, and I believe went above and beyond what she needed to do, despite not even knowing the circumstances. Excellent customer service, and I very much look forward to staying in their hotels.

My wife and I decided to take some time away last week in Banff and we stayed at the BPL which is one of our favorite Hotels. This is the first time back in a year and a half so it was great to see the hotel looking fantastic and the staff very happy to see us. We like this hotel for the location but the rooms are great and again the staff are wonderful to deal with. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is an older hotel but is in great condition. Our room was modernized. One the higher rated hotels, but I didn't see anything outstanding in our room. Just good clean comfort. The price averaged $140 per night after a 30% discount, plus 3 taxes and plus $14 per day self-parking. No daily room maid service due to the Covid fears. An email request to housekeeping had to be followed up with a second email and a phone call. Nevertheless, recommended and we'll consider returning.

I reserved two nights here and end up staying just one night because the hotel didn’t have air conditioner and it’s imposible to sleep there without ac. They didn’t told me that on my reservation, and the charge almost the same as the rest of hotels in Banff that are a lot better than this one. At the end they didn’t give me any compensation for the bad service. Don’t stay here, you’ll find better places to stay in banff for the same price.
